Dr. Karen is the most caring Vet. We have trusted her with our pets since she began. Her knowledge and care is unsurpassed. She and her staff are amazing and I wouldn't trust anyone else to care my fur babies. South Carroll Veterinarian Hospital is the best!

Dr. Karen and the entire team care for your pet like it's their own. When we needed a vet for our rescue dog (who had a history of bad experiences of going to the vet with his previous family), we were lucky to find SCVH. They brought us in for a meet-n-greet appointment to let our dog get to know the place, and them. They were patient (even having our appointments outside for as long as our dog needed) and ensured his and our comfort along the way.

You are typically the only family in the facility at any given time and all of your questions are answered. Was EVERY appointment started on time? No, but neither does any appointment with my dentist, my doctor, my hairstylist. Things happen. The employees are human and life happens. Sometimes one appointment runs longer than expected as animal care is unpredictable. Unfortunately, our dog passed away Oct 2021 but we'll definitely be back to SCVH when we rescue again.

We absolutely LOVE Dr. Karen and the entire staff! They have always been so kind and taken the time to answer all of our questions and concerns. In the many years of owning pets, I have never experienced such dedication to clients. Seriously, you are all incredible humans! Thank you for everything you do!

My Grandmother took her dog here who lived to a ripe age of 16 and when he was first on insulin they personally came to my Grandmas house to help her learn how to comfortably hold him and administer. I will always remember this kindness and it's why even though we are practically in Taneytown we drive all the way down here for Dr Karen to take care of our dear spooky kitty Gomez. They never push unnecessary tests like my experiences with Banfield and I never feel rushed in this office.

Dr. Karen the best, most compassionate veterinarian our family has ever had. She and her father have cared for our dogs, Persian and Cornish Rex's as if they were her own. My family is forever grateful to her and her staff.

Dr Karen and the staff at South Carroll go above and beyond when it comes to caring for your pet! My cat recently had some teeth extracted and I was really nervous about the procedure but also the cost. Ashley and Kelly went out of their way to keep me updated and informed. It was really reassuring and made me feel good about my decision to have the procedure done, and it was worth every penny. The deep love they feel for these animals is evident and I trust them wholeheartedly.

Dr. Karen and her staff are some of the most compassionate and intelligent in the field. They constantly go above and beyond for their clients and the owners. Dr. Karen does ample research and informs you about all procedures and even walks you through all the steps to make sure you are comfortable and onboard. The vet tech crew is energetic and fun and always is willing to jump on a call or answer emails to help. The best vet practice that I know!

I called SCV in a panic about my rescue puppy's strange behavior and they helped reassure me over the phone about her allergies. I scheduled a Wellness Checkup after being referred by many people and felt right at home. Being a new mom, I was very insecure about doing what's right for my pup.
