While this wasn't the hands on help I was hoping for, these ladies really do give you the tools to train your own dog and be an active participant in them not being a little asshole LOL. Ben did not look like he was going to respond to anything we did, since he was a much smaller dog, but eventually he was doing about half the commands everyone else was LOL - And honestly we could have done more Homework too But they give you packets to remember how to train them every step and are very helpful.

We have a tiny 8 pound maltipoo who needed a few pointers. BRO effectively taught the basics- come, sit and heel. The space is large, but the two women in charge do a fantastic job of keeping everyone under control. I was initially nervous, since my dog was by far the smallest, but the owners give clear instructions and keep dogs away from one another.
The best thing- they have the attitude that dogs enhance our lives but do not get to take over. You start learning very quickly how to train your dog without always having food treats. This is a great program- clear, clean and teaching good limits. Highly recommend

My husband and I are new puppy parents to a mini husky we rescued about 2 months ago. When we got him he was 4 1/2 months very sweet but we had no idea how much work a puppy is. We are more then ready and love him so much, it's just a lot and we needed some guidance. While there's google and tons of resources available, we found that we were spending more time researching than with our newest family member.
I was frustrated and defeated pretty regularly, I decided to reach out to several dog trainer and/or dog care businesses, and was right away impressed with Bring Rover Over. During our first visit Karen came to our home to have a meet and greet. Our entire first visit was just a game changer! We had A TON of questions, all of which she took extra time to answer and never once did we feel rushed or like what we were asking was abnormal or alarming.
We all got so much out of that first visit but most importantly we felt at ease knowing that he is just being a puppy! If you are looking for anything dog related from daycare to group classes, or 1:1 training or services.etc. LOOK NO FURTHER! Bring Rover Over is your go-to! If I could give them 10 stars, I would! You and your pup are in the best of care with Karen, Janice and the Bring Rover Over family.

I absolutely love Bring Rover Over! We've been going to them for a couple of months now. We started with 1 puppy, we are now at 2. Karen is so very kind and both our dogs love her. They both come back happily tired from all the playing, clean and safe! I've been to other daycares before, the staff are very wonderful, but I do appreciate that the ladies watching the dogs are also trainers!
Another thing I appreciate is that they have a giant potty area! It has been hard to reinforce house/potty training at our other daycare because they let them go just anywhere in the play area, but at Bring Rover Over, our stubborn girls have progressed in potty training! I also find this a great alternative to dog walking, because of the social play aspect and the cost aspect!
We get pre-paid packages for our dogs which is comparable to a walker cost, but they get to play and run around all day! I am at home during the day, but I am usually asleep due to working a nocturnal shift, so waking up for a walker would be hard. Karen, Arti and Charlie love you! And we appreciate you watching over them! Ren & Jesse

I don't have time to do a whole class but our dog was making life difficult at home for all of us so I asked Karen to come and do a private training. She came and after just one session everything was so much better. She was funny and helpful and comprehensive and very informative. Also very reasonably priced compared to some other quotes I got. I highly recommend their services.

I am a newbie to Bring Rover Over. I have a 4 month old English Mastiff. Today is her 1st day at Bring Rover Over. I was completely excited to be able to bring my new puppy to a place that is friendly and well trained staff. Copper was introduce to a large German shepherd the night before and yes, I was scare but, OMG Karen you are Great. You made me very comfortable and just to see my Mastiff playing with a large dog and having so much fun was a joy.
I want my puppy to be happy and be friendly to people and other dogs. Thank you Karen so much for making Copper 1st day exciting and fun. I looking forward to the training classes. Kristie DuFresne & Copper

I have a hard time with any dog boarding or training facility that smells of urine. Bring Rover Over is smelly to me and that's a big turn off. Its a large space, with kennel crates and a training area and all of it is stinky. Dogs will pee and mark- that's a given. Why not build a space that has a concrete floor and concrete 1/4 of the way up the wall, so it can be hosed down with water easily? Also, the concrete won't become saturated with urine over time.
I know that approach is more expensive up front to build, but it will pay off in the long run. If my human nose is bothered by it, I think the poor dogs, with their keen sense of smell, must be absolutely overwhelmed with the smell. Probably very agitating to them. My introductory dog training class was OK. Good, patient instructor named Karen!

This place is simply great. My very active catahoula dog, Zombii, loves it here. It would get a 5th star of they had a web cam, or tried to upload several pic daily to Facebook. I would also use them more if they were opened another hour or two later. Other than those two minor things, they are great. Very caring about all the dogs.

Karen Oliver offers expert canine behavior consulting in your home. She helped me train my large German Shepherd puppy to have good manners (no mouthing or jumping up on people). On-site they offer obedience classes and doggie day care. My dog loves to go there and I am confident that he is in a safe environment. The owners are genuinely interested in providing terrific care for my dog.

I am fostering a german shepherd and Karen has been a joy to work with on teaching Toby manners and socializing him with other dogs. She has such a calm, yet firm, demeanor that gets the most out of Toby. She offered many helpful suggestions and explained the rationale behind them. I have called her a couple of times just to get her advice, even before our one-on-one training sessions, and she is so helpful and kind, and like a counselor to me.
She didn't even charge me for one of the sessions. She is very reliable and prompt for each session. She really wants the best for the dog and family. I feel fortunate to have met her and would highly recommend her for training to everyone! She's #1 in my book.

I've been taking my boys there for several years. Both were rescues. I was so worried about Smokey. He was a beautiful pit bull who was beaten and abused. He LOVED going to Day care. Sadly, Smokey crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I still take Scrappy. He is always wagging his tail when we pull into the driveway and when I pick him up at the end of the day. It's a great way to socialize in a controlled environment.

Karen is amazing! She was able to improve my french bulldog's behavior within the first at home training session. He started to exhibit some food aggression and needed some help with manners and she gave us the tools to curb these behaviors. She is very punctual and easy to work with. Unlike some of the other trainers I looked into, she doesn't make you purchase bundles of sessions which I liked. I know that if Hank starts to act up again we will be calling Karen right away for a refresher course.

I've taken both my chihuahua and golden retreiver to Bring Rover over for group training classes and have been successful with both dogs. Janice and Karen are really great, they are very patient and calm with the dogs (& owners!), they will take the time to make sure everyone in the class is comfortable and really 'gets' the skill that is being worked on.
I like that they use dogs in the class for exercices so that you can see how to handle a dog that is jumping, lunging or constantly barking. They really seem to love all dogs, no prejudice against the little ones at Bring Rover Over.

SUPER! Can't say enough positive stuff about Karen and Janice. The prices are great. We brought our puppy Jake to class and he really improved. Both Karen and Janice are kind, funny, supportive and really know their craft. The student teacher ratio is awesome. Karen taught the class and Janice would help reinforce behaviors with each owner. Good teaching model.
You felt that you got a classroom education and special attention. Liked the fact that after each class we received a follow up email reminding class what he had worked on and what to focus on. They kept their establishment clean and didn't stress if a puppy had an "oops." They started promptly and finished on time. All of what was to be learned that lesson was covered.
They dispensed knowledge freely and gave practical tips for general dog behavior. If anyone is looking to bring their dog for training you must go to Bring Rover Over. All the other owners aside from us were exceptionally pleased with the classes and instruction.

Taking my puppy to training classes there. They are knowledgeable about animal behavior and patient with my puppy, even when I am not. They use participants' dogs to demonstrate, so owners can feel confident that their dog can learn the skills. When we have missed a class, the trainers will take a few minutes before the next class and review the previous week's material with you.

My Smokey was an abused pit bull. I took him and his little brother to Bring Rover Over when I first adopted them. Smokey was very skittish and shy due to his abuse. He blossomed into THE MOST gentle and loyal guy you could ever meet. I honestly feel that his time with Karen and the staff at Bring Rover Over helped him tremendously. He and Scrappy loved going to day care every week.
They would get soo excited when we turned into the driveway of Bring Rover Over. The car would shake from their tails waggin. When I picked them up they were happy and pooped. Sadly, Our Smokey passed after a very courageous battle with cancer. Karen, the staff and even other 2 legged clients offered their condolences for My Smokey. Scrappy still goes every week and loves every minute of it. I strongly recommend this day care to any 2 legged who loves their 4leggeds.

I rescued a dog recently and since I wanted him to be socialized and from the reviews I took him to Bring Rover Over. Being a rescue I don't know what he has or has not been exposed to. I bought a 10 day pass and take him in a couple of times a week which was Karen's suggestion. There is an issue with submissive peeing and after Karen strongly voiced her frustration, I will no longer be using their services after my passes expire.
I expected her to be professional, understanding and patient. Especially since her response to how the behavior can be corrected was it takes time. The facilities are clean and my dog comes home happy and well excercised. The rating reflects my experience with Karen and not the facility.

I never thought that I would be the type of person who would take my dog to doggy day care. Alas I am. I came across this place when I found a coupon for puppy training last summer. Their training is very positive and as long as you work at it and keep it up your dog will be well trained. My wiener was a very astute student. My dog is still doing her tricks and her basic training skills are still being enforced.
The doggy day care area is in a large warehouse that is very clean give or take a few dog hairs floating around. The also do training while shes hanging out there. I don't have to worry about picking up a smelly dirty dog either. Shes always just as I left her, fat and lazy. They are incredibly friendly and are always open to answering my weird training questions.
At $30 a day from 6am to 6pm it cant be beat. I looked up some people who would come to your home for a half hour to play and let them outside and that was $30. 12 hours for $30 cant be beat.

We used Rover for Doggy Day Care for our lab Griswold for over a year. The staff is very friendly and educated about dogs. The location is great, and the dogs get PLENTY of exercise, love and attention. I had to stop taking him due to my schedule changes and finances, but we both miss it. I have 2 dogs now and look forward to enrolling both of them again. Keep up the good work!

I cannot say enough about Bring Rover Over. Karen and Janice are fantastic at what they do. We have taken training classes and sent our dog for doggy day care. She loves it there and loves Karen and Janice. If you need training or some place to send your dog for the day a few times a week -- this is it. The dog will come home happy and tired and pull and wiggle as much as doggly possible when you return!
