We are a family of animal lovers and have recently begun an animal rescue organization in the hopes of making a small difference in the ever growing problem of homeless pets in our local areas. We have joined forces with D&D K9 Concepts in our rescue efforts. Recently San Antonio has hired a rescue coordinator that does nothing but find rescue groups willing to take in these homeless pets prior to them being put to sleep.

Promoting responsible pet ownership and more adoptions in an effort to reduce the number of stray and unwanted animals destroyed in San Antonio each year.

Laura has a great deal of experience dealing with animals. Laura worked as a veterinary technician for many years. She then opened a large boarding and grooming shop in San Antonio called Best Friends Pet Care Center. Best Friends was purchased by a large corporation and they have expanded and opened offices all over the United States, and they are a major coordinator in the Rescue Movement throughout the country.
1. ADOPTING get an animal (any animal) then you are making a commitment to take care of that animal as "till death do you part". A pet (dog, cat, bird, etc) did not choose you, you chose the pet. You made a choice to commit to taking care of that pet, providing food, water, shelter and vet care to that pet, just as if it were you own son or daughter.
