I have used Petz plaza three times. I like the web site and the convenient way to book. My dogs have always been cared for well, however, it's clear they don't have a professional grooming department. And, the guy at the front desk is not well informed about what services they offer. I will still board there but no more grooming.

I brought my goldendoodle, Moose, for his first haircut today. I was nervous, with him just turning 5 months, but he did great. He looks almost exactly like the picture a showed them when I walked in. He even cried for the groomer when she left after saying goodbye. He clearly enjoyed his day.

Take your pet here only if you hate your pet and love to deal with the most incompetent people supposedly serving the public. We had a confirmed appt. for grooming and boarding and was dropping our puppy off on the way to the airport when we were told our appt. had been cancelled. When we asked by whom, we were told, "by the system."

I love Petz plaza, I know my dog is going to get everything he needs when I need someone to watch my dog!

My dog loves coming here. He has separation anxiety and can't be left at home all day while I'm at work. I got him from the shelter and his records show that he'd been brought back to the shelter multiple times before I adopted him. Seeing how excited he gets when we pull into the parking lot let's me know how well taken care of and loved he is while he's there and it really puts my mind at ease while I'm at work.

When I first adopted him, he was already an adult and I didn't know him or his needs well. The staff is very communicative and always sensitive to his needs, quick to let me know if he doesn't seem to be feeling well, and always lets me know how he's doing socially. PetzPlaza is the best decision I've made for Rex.

Brought my mini Aussie to Perkins for grooming. He was there 4 hours and developed kennel cough. He was vaccinated March 21. Reached out to let them know and manager never returned my call Be careful with your pets

They made several errors regarding my dogs' grooming appointment, but they were unwilling to correct them. My dogs had an appointment with Bryan, but they mistakenly put them with Jess. Also, they claim dogs are groomed on a first come/first served basis, so I made sure I was first with my new puppy. Several dogs went before her, and she was traumatized after spending four hours there. Hopefully, this won't cause anxiety with grooming in the future. It was a big disappointment.

We booked a 4 night stay for our dog two weeks in advance. We spoke with an associate over the phone to book this stay, we're told what time to drop her off by and everything but we were then informed via email THE NIGHT BEFORE that they were at max capacity and they were cancelling our reservation. Since we do not check our email regularly we did not see the email from the night before so we proceeded with dropping our dog off at Petz Plaza.

Once we arrived we were told an email was sent to inform us that they canceled our dogs 4 night stay. We never received a phone call regarding this. If a business is going to cancel a reservation then a courtesy call is the least they could do. Once we arrived we also were never offered any type of discount for future stays, grooming, etc. So just a heads up if you plan to go out of town like we did for four days, don't count on this business to do their part by keeping your reservation and be sure to have a back up plan to bring your dog in case they cancel your reservation the night before like they did to us.

They are amazing with my dog! He absolutely loves going there and is always happy to see them. The staff is amazing and I would recommend them to anyone for grooming, daycare and weekly baths!

I was primarily using the Jefferson Hwy site and was reticent to make the move, but I have been pleasantly surprised. The staff is still just as friendly and Jessica remains our groomer. We have been with y'all since we got our puppy over 4 years ago and recommend all to try this "family"!

Pet Plaza on Perkins is Beatrice's second home! She loves doggie day care. They are so professional, kind and accommodating at all times. The groomer is excellent and I have never been disappointed. The staff is AMAZING and they love all the fur babies BIG.they have been a blessing to us and so thankful for all they do

We took our pup here for day care, then one night of boarding. The staff is super friendly! We loved having the assurance of their live cam feed to know our pup was having fun while we were away. Our pup seemed to enjoy his time and this is the closest dog care facility to my house and job. My reason for taking away stars is their odd weekend hours (Saturday only open from 8-2, Sunday open from 3-5), and no one ever stated that there was an additional $10 fee to pick up to our pet on Sunday. It's not listed on any of their paperwork either. Also, due to their odd hours (which is when I would assume most people would be out of town and looking to board their pet), paying the extra $15 for all day play is only about 1/2 of one day they stay. All in all, I would love to use petzplaza as a day care facility. But will be looking elsewhere for boarding.

The pet grooming services were really good. It took a long time for them to groom my golden retriever but she looked great when I picked her up. I liked that the groomer called me to verify my preferences before trimming her. Staff very friendly

Pet Plaza on Perkins is the absolute best! The staff is so great and truly cares for the animals, my dog gets so excited to greet them when we walk in. I highly recommend bringing your pet here for boarding, daycare, or baths! Thanks for always taking care of Gus!

They do a great job grooming our golden doodle. She is large and hair grows fast. This results in terrible matting of her fur. We were pleased with her haircut.

We have a Mini Golden Doodle and are particular about the type of haircut he sets. Sam is his groomer and she is excellent. He is happy to go there and he looks and smells amazing when he comes home. I would highly recommend PetzPlaza for grooming. They are professional and super user friendly.

This is the second time we leave our dog at the boarding, as soon as you enter the girls are super nice, informative and caring with our dog. Its super clean, we have no worries because we can see he stays in good hands.

Just picked up our miniature golden doodle from getting groomed and could not be happier! Liz did a wonderful job and did exactly what I asked. From the time I walked in the door the staff was kind, polite and inviting. Our dog gets nervous being dropped off anywhere and they were all patient, kind and loving towards her. I have no doubt she was in good hands. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back!

Leaving Remi our French Brittany at petz plaza is great. We never have a second thought; his off leash playtime [I run him off leash twice daily at Pennington to stay in shape for hunting] and excellent care is so special and we never worry. We use Petz Plaza for boarding and day care. We have used the basic boarding and the suits. We lately started using the day care and LOVE it! We looked at other doggy daycare options in town and had some terrible experiences. We have a 1.5 year old Golden Retriever that weighs 80lbs. She has a lot of energy but is well trained and loves other dogs.

One place told us she was too "anxious" and didn't pass their "interview". The employees at Petz Plaza were much more warm and loving toward our dog from the second we brought Pearl. Much different than the interaction we had at other places! Doggy day care at Petz Plaza has been great for her to get energy out when we have long work days. The staff loves all the puppies, the facility is well kept and clean, and our pup is thrilled when we pull up to drop her off!

I take my wire fox terrier here to be groomed and have for a year since I moved from VA. We always have Ana do the grooming and she's great. The first few times she groomed Bailey, she was cut a little too short. However i think it was more that I didn't communicate what I wanted. The last few cuts have been fantastic. They are fairly pricey compared to what I paid previously but it's worth it in my opinion and my dog is always happy.

I brought my 7 yr old, 97 lb labradoodle to the JEFFERSON location to be groomed. First, he was there for 10.5 hours! I dropped him off around 8 am. I called to check on him at 2:51. They told me 6:00 pm. I was there to pick him up around 5:30. He wasn't ready. Almost an hour later, when he came out, he couldn't walk! He was exhausted and hurting.

Not sure what happened. According to them, nothing happened. He's not had this issue before and he was fine when I brought him in. They sent me to their vet who happens to be connected (According to BBB, he's the owner of Petz Plaza.) The only thing we've come up with is exhaustion.
