Services
Day Camp provides an outlet for your dog's natural instincts and energies in a safe, secure, climate controlled environment. Your dog can play, romp, wrestle, chase, explore, run and jump. At the end of the day your dog will go home happy and tired. Day Campers should arrive by 9AM. They are grouped according to size, activity levels, and age.
Weekdays: Arriving Campers should check in between 7AM and 11AM or 1:30PM and 4PM because naptime is between 11AM and 1:30PM i.e. Around 4:00PM everyone comes in and settles down before we serve dinner. Everyone goes out again for a bathroom stop before the Campers snuggle down for a good nights sleep.

Beware, bait and switch tactics. Even if you make an appointment for a certain service, you have to (per the counter rep) reiterate at drop off specifically what you have already agreed to or else the will by default and their "policy" charge you for the most expensive services. Again even if when you booked appointment the services you want were discussed.

A word of caution. I'm a certified professional dog trainer through the CCPDT. I worked at Camp Wagging Tails and should have written this review before. Better late than never. I witnessed an employee hit multiple dogs there. When I brought it to the owner's attention, NOTHING was done about it and the employee maintained her promotion. I quit immediately without notice.
The front staff is nice but they are not the ones interacting with your babies. If you have noticed changes in your dog's behavior after visiting CWT, I highly suggest finding a different facility. Anyone is welcome to verify my certification through the CCPDT website. Stay safe everyone.

If there was a way to give less than one star, I would. We really tried--or better yet, Camp Wagging Tails tried to convince us that our dogs returning home ill EVERY single time they stayed was in fact.our dogs fault. One dog was consistently picked up with conjunctivitis-usually with one eye crusted shut. He's only ever gotten that while in their care.
Yet we were told he had "pollen eye". No joke! This last visit our smaller, older dog nearly died from a GI bleed. Granted the staff at CWT were gracious enough to rush her to the vet, however, this dog has never had health issues and after a $1400 vet bill upon our return due to the massive and intense care she needed. The vet was only able to explain our dog's condition as "it might have been a result from an extraordinary stressful situation". Yes, they will claim there was a storm-however the dog is 7 & has lived thru many, many crazy storms.
Crazy construction on our home, and never had an issue with "stress" to cause her near demise. In addition to almost losing one dog, the other one one again greeted us with two crusted eyes closed shut and proceeded to have GI issues the following 2 weeks! I really, really wish we would have gone on Google to review this place a lot sooner than now. We made the mistake of listening to friends & neighbors rather our own research. Do yourself and your pets a favor when it comes to CWT.keep looking!

Our little dog, Buddy, has been going to day camp several days a week for the past two months. He LOVES it and can't wait to get in the door! This is a very well-run facility. The owners and staff are very friendly and professional. They greet Buddy by name. They are so organized! The place is spotless. They are very careful to make sure dogs have appropriate immunizations.
They "interview" the dogs to assure that they "play well with others" and I am relieved that they do not allow certain breeds. It is unfair for people to give a bad review because their breed of dog cannot be accepted. I know that Buddy has fun in a safe and loving environment. I'd give Camp Wagging Tails 6 stars if I could.

Camp Wagging Tails is an awesome place! The entire team from the owners, to front office, to back office play team are friendly, patient, caring, professional, and protective of our four-legged friends. My yellow lab has enjoyed day camp and boarding over the past 6 years. He can be a handful and the team always welcomes him in. Camp Wagging Tails is my dog's second home and it relieves stress in my life knowing he is being well-taken care of, getting some exercise, and socializing with other dogs (and people). The facilities are top-notch, clean, and safe. Quite a good life for my dog as he hangs out at the pool while I work. I strongly recommend Camp Wagging Tails!
