My 14.5-year-old dog has gone here most of her life for grooming. Things recently took a disappointing turn. We've always had her rabies vaccines administered by a vet (NC law requires a vet for rabies) and self-administer the others by buying them at Tractor Supply (legal in NC). Suddenly this is a problem, and now they won't see her unless we take her to the vet, get all of her shots done again, and take the shot record to them.

They cited state law as the reason even though it only applies to rabies, which we're on board with. - As a private business, I fully respect your right to implement a policy of your choice, but don't blame the state for your decision. - You've seen my dog for nearly 14.5 years. have we been breaking the law this entire time? Why will PETCO and any other groomer see my pet and only ask about rabies?

The NCDA's veterinary division website only reference rabies vaccine as a requirement for shelters. If you're like most people who take your dog to a vet for all of their shots then this review may not matter to you. For us, my wife has found another groomer we'll use going forward. Disappointing, but such is life.

The new office lady answering the phone that replaced the nice man we used to deal with is about to lose a lot of business because of her attitude and general rudeness. She treated us like strangers and shunned us and cancelled appt that was already made and kept days prior before his actual time for vaccinations were even due. Then upon trying to get it worked out was just all or nothing. Thought we found our place but guess I'll be switching now!

They are the worst dog cleaning service I've ever experienced. The place stinks and is really old looking. I picked my dog up from a bath with a de shedding treatment included for extra cost, I kid you not he smelled the same as before and he shedded IMMEDIATELY after getting into my car. The people were nonchalant and lifeless. If I could give a 0 star I could.

Everyone here is very nice and we trust them with our pets. The live Web cams let's us see our dogs are doing well. Their boarding prices are much lower as compared to other places considering for what they do for your pets during their stay with them. I have recommended them to many people. John J

My boy Geordi loves to go to daycare, he gets really excited when he knows where we are going. Since he is a large breed Bernese Mountain Dog I have to be conscientious of the heat, but I have no worries with Purrfect Paws. During the summer he gets outside breaks, but will spend most of his time indoors where it's temperature controlled. They are always watching and rearranging rooms if needed to accommodate your dogs needs, feelings, etc. I will always go here for his Grooming. They always do a fantastic job for a reasonable price. Purrfect Paws is my trusted place for my dog.

We have been taking our dog to PURRfect Paws for the past few years and have had a fantastic experience. The staff is absolutely amazing! They are friendly, very responsive, and most importantly, our dog loves them! They have flexible drop-off and pick-up times as well as half and full day options that work well with our schedule. We have used PURRfect Paws for daycare, boarding and grooming services and have always had a positive experience. I highly recommend them!

I absolutely love Purrfect paws and the staff that works there! It's my puppies home away from home. They are professional, affordable, responsive, and reliable! After having a bad experience at another boarding facility I found this place and I feel confident with boarding and weekly daycare! Kayla in particular is amazing & takes top notch care of my boy!

Very disappointed. I booked a reservation for Thanksgiving Weekend last month. Just cancelled over a week out due to a family member contracting Covid and employee said my deposit was non-refundable. We have boarded here before and have been grooming clients as well. Keep my $ because we will not be back for either!

We love Purrfect Paws for grooming and boarding. They are friendly, clean and professional. Most of all I love that they know my dog by name! She gets so excited to go there. When I look at her on the video when we are gone she is busy playing!

Just took my 1 yr old golden retriever in for his first groom & I was more than happy! They did a fantastic job & took great care of my pup Extremely easy to book an appointment and they did exactly what I asked for!

First time with this groomer. Easy, very convenient location. Have a hyper American Cocker Spaniel. Doesn't like grooming. Not easy on the groomer. Amanda our groomer was terriffic. Our pupster came home beautifully shorn for summer, upbeat and happy. Thank you Purrfect Paws! We'll be back!

New dog owner here so some of the blame for my experience lies in my ignorance and trusting someone who suggested this place. However that doesn't excuse the outrageous expense and total hack job the groomer did. My expectation for a professional is for them to suggest the appropriate grooming. Instead I got my dog back looking like Mr. Bigglesworth.

It will take most of the summer for him to look normal. The one request I made was ignored and a bunch of "add ons" were on the bill. Honestly if anyone thinks a dog needs a cranberry facial they need therapy or swatted with a rolled up newspaper. The only reason I'm give any stars is was stupid enough to take my dog here in the first place. I would gladly pay the 110$ (ridiculous) to have him look like he did before going. Never again.

We have been using Purrfect Paws for a little over a year on almost a weekly basis and we can honestly say that this place is the best! My dogs are so happy to go for both overnight and play visits and their groomer is top notch! The staff is so caring and kind to the dogs and you can tell that they really care- best place in the lake Norman/Cornelius area for both grooming and boarding!

My dog Roscoe is a little spoiled, but Cole and the team at Purrfect Paws give him the attention he deserves. This is not a big commercial operation and I feel good that my dog is safe here. Roscoe (basset hound) also got a bath, and he came home smelling good, nails clip, big ears cleaned, and anal glands expressed for a great price. After trying several places in the area, this is the only place I trust.
