Dog Dayz has been serving the Wilmington and surrounding community for nearly 20 years. We were Delaware's first daycare for dogs, and we remain the safest, most experienced daycare in the area. We are not a franchise, but a locally owned and trusted establishment managed by expert caregivers. We provide areas throughout our facility where a pooch can take a break from the action, either by relaxing alone in a cozy resting spot or cuddling in puddle of other dogs.Exercise plays an important role in any dog's daily routine.

We are a group of dog lovers, no one loves their job more than we do! Each member of our staff has been disciplined and trained in caring for dogs in a single or group setting. Her vision was simple: make canine friends for life in a safe, cage free environment. After nearly 20 years of providing exceptional care to all her canine friends, that vision still holds true today!
Dog Dayz offers a peace of mind alternative to leaving your canine pals home. Whether you work out of the home, work from home, or are having work done to your home, Dog Dayz is the perfect daytime hangout for your dog. Your pooch can socialize with buddies, join in controlled exercise and play activities, gain reinforcement of basic commands, take potty breaks and revel in attention from expert caregivers throughout the day.
I do my best to be accommodating and flexible but please be respectful since this is my home and safety is my #1 concern for all our guests and my dogs that live here. Weekend drop off or pick up before 9am or after 8pm may not be accommodated. Bathing services are offered at daycare facility and I give a discount for dogs staying at the Biscuit.
We want the safest and most beneficial environment for all of our dogs. We require dogs be at least 5 months old based on experience and knowledge which tells us that they are most susceptible to proper etiquette, socialization, and house training. To maintain a safe environment for all dogs in our facility, we require all admitted dogs to be up to date on their DHLPP, bordatella and rabies vaccinations.

I feel so blessed to have found Dog Dayz. The staff is unbelievable! They are true dog lovers, and sincerely care about your baby or babies. I contacted several services when I decided my active puppy needed to go to daycare two days a week. The only one that responded was Dog Dayz. Not only did the owner, Michelle, respond within an hour but it was on a Sunday afternoon.
She was responsive and informative, and we immediately set up a meet and greet the following week. My Milkshake has been attending two days a week for almost two months now. I could not be happier. Michelle, Kimm, Cierra, and Dylan are amazing to work with. Cierra and Dylan have reached out to inform me of things I need to know about, and I appreciate that greatly. Milkshake gets beyond excited the second we grab his harness and leash and say "are you ready to go to school".
He cannot get out the door fast enough! When he comes home, he is a different dog. The energy he is able to release by playing with his friends has decreased his hyper activity and negative, destructive behavior. I feel less guilty because he has not been in a crate all day. It makes my evenings less stressful because he puts himself in his crate and sleeps for at least 2 to 3 hours while I cook dinner and do my evening routine.
This is the best decision we could have ever made and money well spent! Once I can afford to increase his days, I will surely do so! Thank you Dog Dayz staff for your dedication, hard work, communication, professionalism and loving hearts. I added a pic of Milkshake passed out after a day with his friends. I cannot say enough positive things about this Daycare. I highly recommend Dog Dayz. You will not be disappointed!

Dog Dayz is a treat for my two dogs! They get so excited when I tell them they are going to see their friends. The staff is very loving and caring with the dogs, it's like taking them to another home with lots of friends. My dogs come home completely exhausted after a full day of playing. I'm so glad I found this place!

Dog Dayz has been a LIFESAVER for us! We have a very energetic puppy, and Michelle & her staff have been so wonderful in welcoming her to the pack & taking amazing care of her. #ClementineInTheCity has food allergies & they are super cautious & great about letting us know when she's out of her special treats so that she doesn't get chicken. We'd be lost without Dog Days & can't recommend them enough!

I have been entrusting my dogs to Dog Dayz since 2002 (almost since their opening). What an amazingly experienced and caring owner Michelle Latham is. She and her staff are incredibly knowledgable with regard to dog training, dog whispering and also in running a business. My dogs have always come home from their "dayz" there: better socialized, better behaved, and doggone tired (sorry, couldn't help it). Dog Dayz was the first doggie daycare in the area and they are still the best!

Dog Dayz has been wonderful for our big, energetic 2 year-old puppy. She comes home completely worn out. The team is so sweet to her, and more than once, they've alerted us to her health concerns before we've noticed them ourselves. We're so grateful for their attentiveness-they really love and care for your pets.

My Golden Retriever, Obi, attended Dog Dayz for 11 years. He made many friends and enjoyed his play dates especially with Lulu, Milo, Foster, Bailey, Rocky, Daisy, and Tucker to name just a few. The staff, Michelle, Kimm, and Brian, know and love dogs. They take pride in providing a great playtime experience for each dog. I recommend without reservation.
