We have been using Country Acres since we moved to Texas. It's been about three years now. We love this place. We have 4 dogs. They are always well taken care of and smell great when they come home. They are also worn out from playing with the other dogs: Prices are very reasonable. We highly recommend.

Just picked up my baby, he's a russian wolf hound so long haired and he's covered in urine. Stayed one day but have to pay for two per their two day minimum policy which is fine except because I drop him off on Friday and they are closed Sundays i had to pick him up Saturday.force you to only stay for one day or you'll have to pay for four to pick up on monday. Dont see how they figure that is legal.
You would think with a two day minimum minus a day your dog would at least get out of the place decent enough to be in your vehicle. Reply to the kennel: you can't control where he sleeps but you can control how clean you keep kennels, he is covered in urine. You only have two russian wolfhounds that stay with you both being mine. This is my first time having a dog come home covered in urine. Never had an issue, maybe need new employees

This place was horrible! I left my rott there for 8 days. I'm very disappointed, I picked up my rott with his head busted and cuts on his nose. Also on his neck and right eye lid. The day i dropped Him off he was in very good shape. He has lost a lot of weight in those 8 days. He has bites on his ears and a bad cough. He is also bleeding from his private area I told them before i left that he has bad anxiety if he could stay in the inside kennels.
They said that he was too big and he would be better off outside. Right when we got there he got his vaccines he needed WHICH DIDNT START WORKING UNTIL ALMOST 2 WEEKS LATER when we took him to the vet the first time. I had very high hopes for this place but didn't turn out so good. Will be taking him to the vet again to get this checked. (They said they will refund us after we spent over $1,000 at the vet trying to get my dog to recover from the mess they did. It is now almost December this happened in June. So unprofessional I'm not giving up until we get refunded for what they did to him.)

I am so distraught over our last experience, especially after this being our go to kennel for years. We have a senior dog very docile and easy going. We pick him up and staff mentions he has a wound on his tail that happened while he was there. Upon further inspection, his nails/paw is bleeding as well as his tail. The most bothersome problem was the incidental daily surcharge $10/day, which they fail to mention when you call to reserve or drop off.
I'm not really into politics here, but increasing price by 40% per day is extreme. The explanation of this "temporary" charge will end when we get new leadership is outrageous.

This was our first time boarding our baby Abby and I don't think it could have gone any smoother. The manager personally helped to guide us through the process and was extremely courteous and respectful. We had to leave her to travel out of town for a funeral, so I am so grateful for them for helping to elevate some of the stress that we were dealing with. From this point on if we have to leave Abby with anyone we are 100% going with County Acres Kennels. Thanks again to all of the staff.

Thank you "Country Acres Kennels" for taking care of our "fur baby", Harley!. If you are scouting for a great facility to care for your "fur baby", I highly recommend COUNTRY ACRES KENNELS. They provide excellent care for your pet and give them lots of love and attention. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to the needs of your pet. We have utilized their services and facilities a couple of times and we always leave very satisfied and our "fur baby" is happy and wagging his tail when we leave.

My girls Jolene & Lil Bit look forward to staying at Country Acres every summer for "summer camp". They come home refreshed and excited. Also they were smelling sweet and looked so healthy. We are all looking forward to next year's stay again! Thanks to Carl and staff for taking such good care of my rescues. CL in Arlington

Excellent service. I have been taking my dog Coco, a black German Shepherd, for over a year to country Acres Kennels Club for bathing and training and always the Services are excellent. The prices are very reasonable. They are more interested in the welfare of your pets instead of your money. The bath service is performed a detail, and they provide a report about how they found the dog.
They also helped me to socialize my dog and thought me how to train Cocoa for free. As a result of it, I have a very well behaved dog, that I can take anywhere. I highly recommend. Fanny Todd

Another out of town trip for me, another vacation for my dog Luckey. At Country Acres, she gets the care and attention needed when we're apart. I can trust the staff to tend to her physically and socially. The other great thing about Country Acres is that it is affordable. This is always my first choice for boarding.

DO NOT BOARD YOUR PRECIOUS PET AT THIS KENNEL! Our HEALTHY, 1 year 9 month old English Bulldog, Remy, died of heatstroke under their care. We dropped him and our Shar-Pei off on Monday, July 17 to be boarded for 5 nights while we went out of town. On Tuesday, July 18, we get a call that Remy was having a problem breathing and 109 temperature. They took him to the emergency hospital where the caring doctor there did everything he could do to help save him, but could not.
He died at approximately 12:35 am on Wednesday, July 19. He was there barely over a day? We were extremely devastated and heartbroken to say the least and still are. How does this happen if he is supposed to be boarded indoors? English Bulldogs have to be in the a/c during the summer and they know this. We will never know because to this day this supposed caring facility has still yet to contact us to apologize, give an explanation or anything!
This is unacceptable and DISGUSTING! PLEASE READ THE BAD REVIEWS AND BELIEVE THEM! I wish we would have. RESPONSE TO OWNER: Typical response to a bad review. LIES, LIES, LIES! Finally someone says sorry after we have pretty much begged for it! No one has EVER tried to call us not even once! Show me your phone records that prove otherwise. I gave y'all ample time to contact us.
I sent a certified letter to Country Acres trying to give you a chance to respond and explain what happened, but nothing! It is a downright lie to say that we aren't trying to communicate or aren't giving you access to medical records. Posting a bad review was the only way to get your attention! Now that we have it, I'll follow up with all my documentation of trying to contact you.
Just to be clear about the temperature, when we were called, his temperature was 109 according to the gentleman who called us and in the 15 minutes it took to get him to the hospital, it was 110 when he arrived so not sure why you are lying about the 104.4, but I will show that documentation too. That contact with Country Acres Kennels was the last we had before and after Remy's death.

I've been taking my German Shepard puppy to Country Acres Kennels for short time boarding and dog training. Matt who is the lead trainer there is my instructor for obedience training. After only a few weeks, I've seen amazing results. Matt is very knowledgeable and easy to work with during our training sessions. I highly recommend taking your puppy dog here for training.
They also provide day care for dogs if you just need them to watch your dog during working hours, your dog will enjoy this service. When I pick her up from day care, she goes straight to her bed and sleeps all night. You will LOVE LOVE LOVE Country Acres Kennels and their staff!
