Amazing place! workers are very helpful and very knowledgeable! If you care about your pet and what they eat go to pet wize! They go with brands that actually care about your pets well being!

Typically, I have a good experience, but today when dropping off my two dogs I let them know that the last time they nicked my poodle and she seemed to be a little more anxious than usual. I asked them to be more careful and also give her a cbd treat if they thought she needed it. She was taken back first then they came and got my other dog. I get all the way home and they call me telling they don't feel comfortable grooming my poodle but they can do my other dog.

So because they traumatized my dog now my plans are completely foiled. Not to mention they didn't tell me they nicked her, I found it out on my own when she was home. I'm going out of town and now I have no time to get my dogs groomed. Thanks for wasting my time and putting me in this position. They didn't even try to groom her and notice that she was nervous they were just like oh well since we messed up now it's your problem. I'm so mad it's funny at this point. Needless to say they have definitely lost my business.

Everyone listen, this place is literally half the price of petsmart and petco. I spent $20 bucks for bloodworms and at the others I was spending well over $40, weekly. That's enough for me. Check them out, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent place. The employees are very helpful and give good advice to first time pet owners. One of the best and affordable places for pet stuff near usf. They stock up frequently. They regulary have huge discounts on the pet products.

I spoke with some guy before and called two weeks in advanced to reschedule due to emergency things happen. I told the guy over the phone my situation he said no problem I can call or come into the store to reschedule. I call back to schedule and the groomers won't accept my services for no call no show. going elsewhere

Everytime I come here I have the best service! The prices are unbeatable for the food I get my fur baby. And they have a great deal where you buy 4 and the 5th bag free or maybe it's buy 5 and get 6th free can't remember lol but either way I love this place!

If any place is deserving of a great review it's this place. They really just want to help you and your pet be happy and healthy. They have amazing deals they have awesome rewards for dog food bags. Everyone is genuinely so helpful for me and my foster dogs and my own dog. Highly recommend you give this place a shot

The kindness and compassion with which Nick and his team meet with each and every customer is beyond compare. My fellow pet sitting partner and dog grooming salon owner had the pleasure of meeting with the owner of Petwise. Nick graciously explained why he picks certain products over others and why there are certain ingredients he does not allow in his store whatsoever! We met a few clients who traveled up to 1 hour to shop there based on price, quality and number 1 reason we heard was customer service that I have yet to see elsewhere!

The staff here, great with my 2 year old pit nm Voight. He always wants to play. Their groomer do an awesome job with him every time.

On my way to Pet Supermarket but live down the road from this place and have always said I should check it out. Sign from road says open so I swing in. I am in the parking lot getting my two small children out, I see a man open the door which appears he's unlocking it. We get to the door to find out he was in fact locking it. 15 feet from the door, he choosing not to say a word to me to give me a courtesy heads up they're not open until 11am (just looked it up). First time here and was looking forward to shopping locally but no thanks now!

You can buy dog food anywhere, and yes online is convenient. But I moved 30 minutes away from this place and still come back because I enjoy the way I am treated. Customer service is not just making sure your products are in stock, it's making people feel like you really appreciate their business. My pup is my child, so he is being taken care of too with such great quality products. Shoutout to the team for being awesome!

I always bring my dogs for grooming. And my dogs are always returned looking the best! They always follow my specifications on how to cut my dogs which i like.

I feel badly saying it but this used to be one of the best pet shops in Tampa and now it just really isn't. The selection is minimal and if you've got fish, birds, or small animals, good luck finding anything. Also the employees really should be well educated on a species before they give information about it rather than giving wrong information. My cat does love the dry food I got him but as I tried to warn, he despises the wet food. It's pretty hit or miss but I do like their buy 5 get 1 program so we'll keep coming back to get more of that kibble at least.

Happy and clean! Just the best mix for my baby! The groomers are always so pleasant and informative. They clean him very well and his nails are always trimmed perfectly. My doggy isn't always the nicest and he has had accidents and there is a fee for that but they are awesome with him. You don't always need an appt they will work with you based on their availability but they really try to work with you on getting your pup in. Truly a great and trusted location plus they have the best home made treats costing almost nothing for your pup, just a really good one stop shop for your pet.

This is the best pet store in Temple Terrace (and Tampa) by far. All the workers are very knowledgeable on the different food brands and are more than happy to help you find something based on your pet's needs. From turtles to 150 pound Great Danes, they have a worker on staff who will be able to answer any pet care questions you have. I don't have a dog that gets groomed but I've only heard positive reviews about their groomers from friends. Don't go to any other pet store in the area!

I've shopped here for some years since they are conveniently close to home and I prefer to support small, local businesses. Every one of the young staff members that I've dealt with has always been so very pleasant and helpful. Today was no different. The young man at the register was very cheerful and friendly. I said that I needed to return the heat lamp that I had purchased.

I let him know that there was nothing wrong with it but that it turned out that I didn't need it. He handed me the form to fill out for the return and as I began to fill it out, an older woman came over and told him that they don't do returns for those. When I asked why, she simply responded that it's just their policy. No reason. After reading a number of the reviews for this place I think it's best that I quit while I'm ahead and take my business elsewhere.

I LOVE this pet store! They have a way better food selection than you'll find at any other big chain store. Lots of grain free and healthy options which I appreciate as my dog has food allergies that irritate his coat. Everyone in here is knowledgeable about the products and more than willing to help. When you have a local place like this around I can't imagine anyone wanting to go to PetsMart or PetCo. Also a plus, they don't even sell rawhide products. Clearly they care about the animals! Love this place and will continue to support them!

WORST SERVICE! They groomed my dog horribly and I spoke up about it, which they gave me a full refund. I go to a new groomer Earthwise and I got the numbers mixed up when I went to book an appointment. They called me back saying the groomers do not want to take my dog now or in the near future lmfao like I would ever bring my dog there again!

I will start the review like this I like the wide selection of supplies and pet toys but what I didn't enjoy was the woman following my son and I around like we needed to steal something. What made it very obvious was another customer came in and she greeted them, asked if they needed assistance and proceeded to still keep her eyes on us. Will I be returning sure won't not worth the disrespect. It's really ashame because they actually have great prices on dog food and toys.

I've been in Tampa for over 10+ years and ever since finding Pet Wize it's been my go to pet store. They do an amazing job with keep their prices low and the staff is awesome. I get my husky/Akita mix groomed there and they do such an outstanding job that it's not even fair for the competition. Love this place till I die.

I took my cocoa to this petwise store as a suggestion from someone who I met in a parking lot in Temple terrace Florida who spoke highly of the store I had stated that I thought that Coco looked a little raggedy and I thought they might could shape her up cleaner up make a look pretty. They never mention to me that Coco was too young since I did say she was 3 months old they went and got a stylist who came up and said sure I did say maybe half which may have been a mistake on my hair be half but I didn't mean for him to just whack the child because that's what Coco is she's like my child.

When I picked Coco up about 4 that evening She slaughter with Nick's in her face the top of her head cut to her skin heart ear hair cut sideways a bad haircut and patchesand some type of glue under her eyes I guess the mask the damages to her eyes. When I returned with my complaint the manager or owner whichever he was only would say that Coco would not keep still and it took two of them to hold her would not allow me to voice my opinion but only would say that they would give me a refund not even say they would sorry for the condition that Coco was left in no apology whatsoever I am truly hurt for what I put cocoa through by taking her to this establishment. Great pet store, fully stocked! Nick the owner was so helpful, he is very passionate about pet health and proper nutrition. We learned a lot from out visit, and we will definitely be back, especially to try their grooming service!

I go to this pet store because it is very close to my house and they are pretty cost effective. It's nice to support local businesses especially now. I brought my not super social chihuahua in and he was just grumbling about everything and anxiously barking. But the employees made sure to give him some attention and that helped him calm down.

This is good. We really need to work on our socializing and I feel like he made progress today. I was looking for a new food. He doesnt need to be on the frozen food he was being fed and not only was I assisted very promptly, but the employees really know what they were talking about. I used to be a pet nutrition specialist so I knew what they were saying was true. They were also super friendly. Made a not so great day a bit better!

I've been coming to this store for a little over a year now and only buy my dog food from them, mostly for their buy 5 get 1 free deal. It's also close to my house. I buy my dog food exclusively from here. I go to Staci to have my Aussie trimmed. Today changed that for me. So the 1st time I exchanged my receipts there was no issue. The second time, the receipts I had were a little worn from throwing them I my junk drawer and they were difficult to read.

The owner, tall, heavyset, glasses, bald, mustache man very reluctantly gave me the free bag of food and he was sure to voice that to me. Considering I've never interacted with him before, I just chalked it up to him being a grumpy old man and let it go. I mean, I interact with the girls that work there and they are much more friendly than him so I just went on my way. Today, I went in and was buying my 5th bag again and have the receipts to get my free, 6th bag.

They were in perfect condition so we didn't run into the same problem again. The girl who helped me was friendly and enjoyable. The reader on the credit card machine wasn't reading my chip so she swiped it twice and it was declined. A second later, my bank messaged me to see if it was fraud and I said it wasn't so they said to wait 5 mins and try again.

The girl helping was patient and happy to be. The bald man was not. So "right at 5 mins" he tried again and it was declined. Handing me my card and said, "there's nothing I can do" so I asked him if he could try one more time and he said no. This blew my mind. So I said, "umm ok" and left. As I was walking to my truck I couldn't help but walk back in and give him a piece of my mind.

So I walked back in and said, "You know, the last time I came in to do this you were an asshole to me and I just want you to know that you lost my business" he cut me off and I adamantly let him know that he was going to listen to me first. I let him know I only buy food from his store, that Staci grooms my dog, and I buy all my Dog supplies from there.

He asked what happened last time and I said, "come on man, you remember me and you know it. That's why you're like this to me this time" he then told me he gives away 3000 dollars worth of dog food a month, like I care. Who cares how much food he "gives away" with rebate programs through the dog food brand that gives him his money back. Anyways, I told him I don't care about that and that he lost my business.

He literally couldn't care less and just said, "have a good day" and put his hand up to me. I'm pretty disappointed in this, mostly because my Aussie (Aussie owners know their dogs don't just let anyone groom them). Well, looks like I'll have to have someone else go in with my receipts in order to get a free bag and then never, ever return here.

I usually buy my dogs food here and they employees are always very nice and eager to help. Today I brought my dog Hemingway in for a bath and a nail trimming, not a haircut. He came home with blood and scratches all over him. I can't even touch the area of where these are without him crying. I genuinely cannot understand how this could have happened with a bath.

I called pet wize immediately after to tell them what happened and all they said was they had no idea what happened. I trusted these people with my dog, and they really hurt him. This is a terrible place do not take your pets here!

Pet Wize was very nice and helpful! They have the usual pet store items needed to take care of your pet. I came here specifically for some dog food. I get the same brand for Mocha Coconut, my dear shihtzu. They directed it to me. I picked out the bag, paid for it, and they took it out to my car. It is so nice that my purchase was quick and effortless! That doesn't happen so quickly nowadays! Glad it was nice and convenient for where it was, and I didn't have to make a special trip elsewhere!
