Stopped here right before closing at the urging of my sister to get some more specialty dog food for my puppy-nephew. He only eats grain free food, and he likes a particular brand they carry here. It was a quick in and out, and my sis gives them consistent thumbs on the service. Great local spot for your pet supply needs.

It is no surprise that this business has five stars. They are the absolute B E S T when it comes to customer service. They deliver to my home for free, which is insane, and they go above and beyond to make sure you have a positive experience. I recently received a bag of cat food (same one we always get) that must have been a bad batch, because all three of my kitties got sick.
It happens. Well they took the bag back without a second thought AND special ordered a different flavor just to be sure we got a different batch than the one that was bad. They are so kind and one of my favorite Dallas businesses.

First found this by accident, exploring Tyler Station with my family. My niece got excited. She'd just begun feeding her dog raw food only and had noticed the difference in her coat, energy level, and weight. She looked around and gave the place her endorsement. I went back after I adopted my dog. Seven years old, born and bred on raw. Leslie made both of us welcome with treats and advice. She's stocked with a range of options and will order others.
I asked her where to buy a crate--she happened to have one of the perfect size. Definitely on my go-to list! We like to stop there, then head over for a beer at Oak Cliff Brewery or a coffee next door. Or end up there for a treat after getting washed at Bruno's Place.

As the owner of a dog daycare, I am seriously obsessed with all-things-dog. I use Green Pet for food and treats for my personal dogs. (Zeus highly recommends the goats milk). The owners, Leslie and Eloy, have been my trusted dog nutrition advisors for years and my dogs are happy and healthy because of it. They are well-stocked and the staff is always friendly. I especially like that they focus on natural, earth-friendly items.

I love Green Pet! We've shopped here since they first opened and their oh-so-many amazing natural, earth-friendly, pet-friendly products just keep me coming back. They have a great variety of high end pet foods and treats that are free from harmful and unnecessary additives that dogs and cats wouldn't naturally eat (think soy & corn). They also have a huge variety of toys, leashes, collars, pet bowls and other necessities for Fido & Fluffy.
We don't buy our dogs' food here every time, because we're generally poor planners and just go to the store by our house, but for treats and toys, we'll make a stop because we can get their favorite "cookies" in the bigger package for much cheaper than the chain stores (it also makes a fantastic excuse to hit Emporium Pies across the street or Dude, Sweet around the corner!). The staff are always very friendly here too, and they will special order certain things when needed.

This is a great shop with a good selection of whatever you can think of. I think the prices are great. I went in once to buy a specific toy but needed two. They only had one. I found the same toy on Amazon and it was only a dollar cheaper. I also love their dog food selection, we are in almost once a week

Can't say one thing bad about this place. Leslie really knows her stuff. She takes her time helping you pick out the right stuff for your pets. They have a large selection of healthy treats, and their toys are much higher quality than stuff you find at petsmart. I highly recommend people stopping in while you're in the bishop!

Inviting, laid back, small selection, friendly staff, Pets in the store and right in the middle of Bishop Arts. for those of us in Oak Cliff with pampered pets, this place is an important stop. I went in the first time to investigate and the guy was very helpful. second visit was to grab some food and the lady pointed me to the right stuff. See. my dog is spoiled as hell. He's a top shelf kinda dog. they carry mostly 4 star foods and a couple of 5 star. I'm sure I'll be a regular. blowing my cash on his viddles. check it out, you won't be sorry. My friend grabbed some toy balls for her dogs to chew and they taste like mint!

You'd think this place would be one of "those" pet stores. You know, over priced, useless stuff that you're never gonna really use. But I was pleasantly surprised with both the selection and the affordability of the items in this store. They have lots of food and treats, which is what I went in looking for. I was having a hard time finding dog treats that had healthy, natural ingredients, so I decided to give Green Pet a try.
They had a wide selection for very affordable prices. I also found a cat grass growing planter and kitty breath mints. My pets were very glad I stopped in that day. Pet lovers should definitely give them a try.

I discovered Green Pet a few years ago and have found their customer service to be consistently amazing! Anyone who is working there is a true pet-lover and is knowledgeable about the numerous items in the store. The store is well designed and is a favorite stop for the Furries in your life. Treats! Treats! Treats! Pet clothes and dog food. Owner Leslie collects money in the store for a local animal rescue group, Angie's Friends. Quite the selection of the

What a great local business in the Bishop Arts District. Finally found some shirts for my dogs that are simple and comfortable for them. They're hairless, so it's hard to find things that don't irritate their skin. Nice selection of things for dogs (not sure about cats since I don't own any). People working there, especially the owner, are incredibly nice. Worth the drive for anyone looking for great service.

Went here because of the great reviews. They have a small selection of items and carry some of the same brands of dog food as Pets Mart (blue buffalo etc). I was looking for potty training bell and the person working there was not helpful at all. He acted like we were a bother and kept telling us to go to Home Depot for a cowbell even after we said we were just looking around at other products.
Every few seconds " Home Depot has cowbells, you can get a cowbell there.". I felt like he was talking down to us and did not want out business. I understand you don't carry them so just let me shop in peace. I understand you are a small business which is why you should treat all customers with respect, after all we were very friendly and even said thanks when we left, even though we felt very offended by your rudeness. Will never shop here again and will recommend against if because it seems you are bothered by your customers.
