Dog Daze began in 1996 as the only dog daycare center in the Midlands of South Carolina. In 2006, Dog Daze expanded its kennels and opened its training center as well. Dog Daze opened its new facility at the Veterans Road location in 2012. We cater to dogs whose owners are unable to entertain them or exercise them often during the day. Dog Daze recommends training as early as possible and has training programs and options to meet most budgets. From basic 3 day residency program to our 21 day program, you will find a program to meet your needs and budget.

Is your dog more than a pet, a member of the family? Do you hate to leave for work with those sad eyes, begging for another pat on the head or just one more treat? As much as you look forward to seeing your precious pooch in the evening, do you dread the natural disaster your angel has created in the living room?
Our kennels are indoors with climate control for year-round comfort. We want your dog to feel comfortable while away from home, so you are welcome to bring bedding and toys. We serve only premium dog food, but if you prefer you can bring your own. If your dog requires medication we can administer it while he's here.
Dog Daze has training programs and options to meet most budgets. The advantage of working one on one with a trainer is that each dog is approached and trained according to his/her personality type, behavior problems and family's goals. One on one training designed to meet your dog's personality, social development and your family's goals.
Every dog learns at a different pace, that's why we offer board and train programs that range from 7 days up to 6 weeks. There is not one exact way to train a dog. Some dogs will be highly motivated by treats, and some by praise only. We will use the best method for your dog to accomplish your goals.

If I could've giving this place no stars I would've. My husband and I left our ding here while we around out of town for a couple of days for the first time. We checked in almost everyday while out of town. We were informed that our dog was doing fine. There was only one situation where our dog got snappy with one of the employees (which is not normal for him because he loves people ) the staff member assured us other than that situation everything was fine.
After several check in calls we were continuously assured that our dog was doing fine. We asked if there was any way if we could get pictures well we were denied pictures. We were told they post pictures if the pets once a week. We let that go in hopes to see a picture on Friday. On Friday which was the end of the week we saw pictures of every other dog except our but didn't think anything of it.
Fast forward to the morning we pick him up we paid for our dog stay and assured again that they loved him and he did well during his stay. We requested a few extra walks and a bath for our pet while he was at the felicity and did not receive the request. Of course we brushed it off thinking they forgot or got too busy. After receiving our dog and taking him home we received a call from an employee at dog daze informing us that our dog could not come back because he bit an employee during pickup mins you during pickup we were not informed of this behavior.
In fact this behavior is not a normally behavior for our dog. Nonetheless we agreed to end future boarding with dog daze. A day later we get a visit from Anmial control requesting to "check on our pet ". Anmial control was confused when he saw our dog in no harm. I do not recommend anyone taking their pet to dog daze our experience was one of the worst.

This is our go to and only spot for both our pups. Been taking them there now for 4 years and they absolutely love it. Whenever we drop them off they can't wait to get inside. Staff is tremendous, accommodating and overall great people. Pricing is fair and availability is generally always good. You can always rest assured when dog daze is taking care of your pups.

My sister's dog (one year old boarder collie) loves the boarding service here and the workers are very nice, great customer service and you can tell they really love my furry niece! The staff are also trainers, so they always make sure to go over her commands with her to reinforce them. They do fill up fast for their boarding on the weekends, so schedule in advance!

No Kidding, I don't even want to share this best kept secret with you. I have a huge mastiff and they love him as much as I do. I was nervous but I took him to doggie day camp 1 time a week and he loves it. He even knows when I pick up the different truck keys, it's his time to go. They wear him out too. I wish I could afford daily. He would love it.
They board, babysit and train while offering suggestions for better behavior. The prices are great and the play area is also great! Great clean place for my doggie. Hoping they add a vet and grooming. :
