To help your best friend find comfort during its "Golden Years, " we provide a comprehensive program that includes complete physical exams, periodic blood tests, and monitoring of behavioral changes. It is designed to fully meet the special requirements and needs of our aging patients. Early detection and diagnosis of abnormal changes are key in maintaining and optimizing your pet's overall health. Your new puppy or kitten needs to visit us for its first checkup as soon as possible after you obtain it.
Cats commonly suffer from a number of problems which can lead to not using the litter box. We can help with testing, treatments, and management tips. Many diseases can lead to problems with litter box use, including bladder infections, bladder stones, kidney disease, constipation, or even diabetes. We will need to examine your cat and do testing to determine which problem your cat has in order to set up a plan for treatment.

****** Do No Take Your Animals Here! Extremely overpriced. Went to get 1 year shots for my dog and they threw on so many other products that he "had to have through them". Almost $200 worth of stuff he didn't need. One of which was a flea and tic pill that I get get at Walmart for $60 they where charging me $85. I didn't realize the charge until I got home.
When I called to tell them I must have been charged wrong the girl on the phone was so rude. The fact that they are trying to profit off of their clients is disposable. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. And will not be trusting them to take care of my pets in the future.

I do not normally write bad reviews for businesses, but it is best advised to NOT take your pet to this clinic. The service from Dr Mayer is poor and overpriced. She wants to schedule multiple visits in order to collect office visit fees, but refuses to meet face to face with her clients out of fear of covid in May of 2022. The policy at this clinic is to drop off your pet and wait until they call you to pick up your animal.
There is no proof that the services were performed, and be prepared to pay in excess of $200 to have a blood draw for your dog while they tell you to come back in 2 months to test for something else that could have been covered in the same visit. The office also conveniently "forgot" (

I will recommend this veterinary clinic to anyone and everyone. The staff are genuinely caring about your animal family member or members, and Dr. Meyer takes excellent care of every one of my animal family members, past and present. They are very good people doing an amazing job. I highly respect Dr. Meyer. She saved my cat, Waffle's, life when he had diabetes and another veterinary clinic told me he was just overweight and lethargic.
I took Waffle directly to Dr. Meyer because she is so great with animals and he got the care he very much needed. His blood sugar was extremely high at first but eventually his condition actually reverted because of her! I will be forever grateful to Dr. Meyer and her staff for doing such a brilliant job with Waffle and every one of my animals for over 20 years and counting.

If there was an option for 0 stars, that would have been my choice. I had an appt for my senior cat at 1045am. Was on time, called, was told they would call me back to check in, never called. There was one other car, when I drove up to my appt. As I was waiting for a call back, another car pulled up (11am) and was assisted right away. I called at 11:13 and asked if they had forgotten about us and was rudely informed that they are short staffed.
I get it, everybody is short staffed. Then I asked why the car that pulled up at 11 was seen and I'm still waiting? Again the person who answered the phone, asked me do I want to check in? I thought that's what I did when I called upon my arrival?! Needless to say, I did not, after waiting 30 mins, people being seen before me. If this is how she treats people, worried how she would be towards my cat!
This whole experience was/is very frustrating. I dont feel that being short staffed gives a person to be rude to potentially new clients. I was not rude even though I did hang up on her. That's as rude as i got.

The staff is incredibly rude, they charged me $38 for 2 pills and for 1 pill they charged $28 that just doesn't add up, not to mention I can get 60 pills for $45 online. My cat was having diarrhea, they told us it was IBS and it would be very expensive to treat, come to find out on our own she was allergic to wet food. They are all about the money!

I have been twice here and both times has been the same treatment from the friendly staff of show caring and affection towards my husbands dog. Friendly and very willing to make sure you understand about directions and amounts you may have to give your fur baby. I would recommend this place as well as planning on taking our baby back when it's time to.

Only good for telling u obvious things. See a flea, your dog has fleas. Over charge way too much.$600 to do 2 blood test. Not SURE just how smart vet really is. She has to get answers from everyone else. Blue pearl, metropolitan, etc. Place is a give ur animals their normal type shots and thats it. I have been to various vets through out Louisville.

Place is as bad as it gets when it comes to something more serious than animal having the runs. WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for their so called treatment. They want to have u do blood work for anything. Which they don't even do themselves and charge alot for. The so called assistants she has.don't even have the skills to handle phone calls. At a time when your stress level is high do to worrying about the health of your animal, you would think that some type of compassion would be warranted from them. NOT! But if your happy with them then good for you.
