Arapahoe Animal Hospital - for small animals, birds, and exotics - was founded in 1954 and originally located a few blocks west of our present Main Hospital location. In 1969, our hospital moved to its current Main Hospital address at 5585 Arapahoe Ave. in Boulder - and our innovatively-designed building was then surrounded by green open fields! Our Main Hospital (and surrounding neighborhood) grew steadily over the years.

Arapahoe Animal Hospital was founded in Boulder in 1954, and in 1969 moved to the innovatively-designed building we occupy today at 5585 Arapahoe Ave. Our Main Hospital stands on one full acre of its own land, with one-third acre of tree-shaded play and exercise yards dedicated to our premier Doggie Day Care program (and enjoyed by our Boarding "guests").
Myers has taken care of our golden fur babies for about 17 years and is beyond phenomenal! The time Dr. Myers takes to care for our dogs with compassion, empathy, and thorough detail is exceptional. He is considered a friend as well as our vet! In addition to the entire staff, who have our dogs and our best interest at heart, we are truly blessed by the stellar care we receive!. I like the friendly service, the concern for my Border Collie, and the skill and knowledge of Doctor Hayes. Well equipped facilities.
Arapahoe Animal Hospital is a progressive hospital dedicated to its staff, clients, and patients, with two convenient and state-of-the-art hospital locations. Occasionally, we will have positions open. Even when we are not actively hiring, we are always looking for motivated staff members to join us as we grow.

Great experience! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They got my dog in quickly and explained all treatment options. They were also very thorough with any questions I had. The staff showed great care and treated my aussie wonderfully. Thank you Dr. Cerda and staff! Came in on a recommendation and will recommend this veterinarian to anyone who asks!

Doctors and staff are always wonderful. They make me feel 100% confident in leaving my Blue Heeler in their care. Naturally, she is not a fan of other people much less the vet, and the staff goes above and beyond to make her feel confident and comfortable too. Lots of tricks and treats. I flew from Pennsylvania to Utah to pick my new puppy and road trip back home with it. Unfortunately along the way my puppy came into contact with the Parvovirus and became symptomatic shortly after we arrived in Boulder, CO. Luckily I noticed the signs right away and called Arapahoe Animal Hospital first thing in the morning and they were able to get me in right away for an 8:30am appointment. Dr. Robert Cerda and vet tech Cassie confirmed that it was indeed Parvo were very honest and thorough in their explanation to me and recommendation on what was best for my puppy and what would give him the best chance of survival. Dr. Cerda recommended I take him to a hospital with 24/7 care in order to give him the best chance to survive and I am so grateful for his recommendation because that's just what I did and my puppy survived!
We just made it back to Pennsylvania a couple days ago and Strider is doing great and in recovery. Thank you so much to Dr. Cerda and Cassie and the rest of the staff that helped tend to Strider the day he came in. Wonderful place.

Samantha Regina, our elderly boxer comes here for laser treatments on her lower back, hips and knees where she has really bad arthritis and muscles loss. These treatments administered by Kim have been tremendously helpful with her mobilty. She loves going so much that we also signed her up for daycare just to socialize. This place is full of caring, loving professionals dedicated to providing the best possible service to every animal and their human who walks through their door.

Arapahoe Animal Hospital has two very convenient hospitals in Boulder, Colorado. Our daughter introduced us to this caring and loving place when she was doing a lot of foster care for Boston Terriers. As we acquired one of her fosters, we have been getting the best of care for our little darling, Hillary. We find them professional, warm and friendly. Highly recommend them.
