We would only take our little Daisy to Susan and her team at Canine Country Club for grooming. We have specific instructions that they always follow and she always looks just the way we want. We have tried other groomers but none have come close to the wonderful results, and she is always so happy afterwards, and everyone is very attentive.

I would 100% recommend Canine Country Club to anyone looking to board their dog in North Raleigh! While we usually try to take our dogs on vacation with us, we can't always do that. We started boarding here about 4 or 5 years ago after meeting the staff at an adoption event/fundraiser they held for Hope Animal Rescue. I had previously used a different facility, but figured I'd give them a try.
Over years, we boarded our dogs here several times now, and a couple of those times were for extended week+ stays. While there are other good boarding facilities in the area, some charge extra for additional play times/potty breaks, which CCC does not. Plus, it is a smaller/quieter facility and I feel that our dogs get more individualized attention here.

I took my 30 pound dog there for grooming, and I could tell something was off when I picked him up. We noticed that his bark had changed and was not the deep bark he had before. He also was reluctant to move, and was yelping in pain a lot. He has been to the dog chiropractor twice now and his back and neck were very out of alignment. He is still not okay even almost two weeks after the grooming. Based upon his bark, we and the doctor suspect that he may have been restrained in a noose for an extended period of time. I will not be taking my dog to Canine Country Club again.

Bias against bigger dogs. Upon pickup on 6-30-19 they told me that my 7 month old puppy couldn't come back because she was excited in the kennel, had diarrhea, and pulled pulled during walking (like any bigger dog that's young). I asked couldn't we have just gotten a choker or face muzzle? Also, they told me they gave her their food instead of the food I brought which, is why she had diarrhea and, still has it causing me to stay home with her. Now, her stomache is upset.
They tried to say they have weight rules that were not disclosed during first stay or prior to second stay. It was also not listed anywhere inside. They also never called me or any of my emergency contacts indicating that he dog was having any problems during her stay. When asked why the had no answer.

Susan really helped us out with some pointers and commands for our toy poodle and I was surprised cause they're so easy once you start doing what she said do and my God it worked! She really knows her stuff and if you need any help with getting your puppy inline with what you want em to do, she's the person to go see. We also went back and got my puppies hair cut and she's so adorable. I can't thank you enough Susan for everything you do for her and us.
