Cowtown Canines is staffed by a knowledgable team of dog experts. They help ensure that fun is had while your dog experiences wonderful climate-controlled indoor-outdoor play facility, complete with doggie lounge, couches, and bouncy beds, with locations conveniently located in both Fort Worth and Weatherford.
In addition to dog day care and dog boarding, Cowtown Canines offers a variety of additional services to help your pet be his absolute best. While spending the day with us you can request that your dog get a bath, nail trim or brushing or even get his teeth cleaned - or maybe he needs to brush up on his manners.
Dogs stay at the daycare facility participating in all day cage free play, then kenneling overnight. Only large and extra large kennels are used as rooms, and dividers can be set up for our puppies who are still crate training. We ask that each pet parent bring their own food so that we don't disrupt our pups diets while they are staying with us.
Are you coming home to a house that has been destroyed by your overly energentic fur ball?. Is your fur-kid ready to go for a walk or even a RUN when you get home after a long day of work?. Then Dog Day Camp may be the answer to your problems! We provide cage free, all day play in a secure and supervised environment.

I cannot express my appreciation for the staff at Cowtown Canines. My dog, Tyson, has been going to daycare there for almost a year, and we have had nothing but great experiences. He sits by the back door most mornings, just hoping he will get to go visit his friends (furry and human) at Cowtown Canines. Special shout out to Haley, she is always sweet and helpful. I highly recommend Cowtown Canines!

Love love love! Brittany is amazing! My very needy pittie princess always feels right at home with her Cowtown Canines Crew. She gets so excited just pulling into the parking lot cause she knows it's time to see her friends! Her whole body literally wiggles with happiness. They are always offering classes, training and different educational activities which I love. She cleans my 75lbs dogs teeth with zero anesthesia or sedation with a breeze. It's literally become my pups home away from home and a one stop facility for us!

Cowtown Canine and it's staff have been an absolute blessing. The staff is so loving and conscientious of my babies and all that goes on throughout the day. They are always more than willing to answer questions and help with any needs. My pup has gone from shy and unsure to a social butterfly who is way more confident of herself. We would be lost without them! 100000% recommend!

We've been sending our sweet pup here for almost two years. She comes home TIRED! The staff is kind, I love how they keep up with the vaccinations for all the dogs. Their prices are perfect! I appreciate their love and dedication to my dog. It's hard finding somewhere that takes great care of animals.

Our dog has been coming to Cowtown Canines for almost 7 years. They treat her as if she was their own. Our dog absolutely loves it there and that's what matters most to us. We have boarded her there multiple times when we go on vacation, and they are always sending us photos letting us know she is doing okay. I also love all of the holiday photos they do with the dogs. I don't know what dog parent wouldn't. We have loved using Cowtown Canines as a safe place for our dog to stay and get some energy out!

We've been taking our dog here for two years now, and she loves it! She comes home absolutely tired because they play so much. I have never had an issue with my dogs safety there, they post picture on Facebook throughout the day and it's precious. I'm so thankful for this business and their genuine love for dogs, it's hard to find somewhere you trust but they do an awesome job.

I met with the owner to evaluate my dog after a non affiliated facility, which is now closed, advised my dog was showing aggression. The owner made time to meet me and interact with my pup. She offered suggestions on puppy training and what to look for in a good facility. I drove an hour just to meet with her and seek her guidance. I'm forever grateful for her time and expertise. Please be aware of some of the false reviews below. Cancel culture is ugly and pathetic.

I can't say enough great things about Cowtown Canines, so I posted some of my favorite pictures of my mutt thoroughly enjoying her tail off at the boarding and daycare facility instead. The staff is so professional, helpful, and accommodating. Lilly was always so excited to go to "camp" and would immediately run back to the kennels as soon as we walked in.
We loved how the staff would send pictures to us to ease our anxiety during long boarding stays. Overall couldn't have asked for a better boarding facility during our time in FW!

I love Cowtown Canines. All of their employees are sweet and love dogs, the owner is amazing and the manager at the Fort Worth location is equally awesome. They respond quickly, post pictures on Facebook of your animals, and are reasonably priced. I have literally no complaints and I recommend them to anyone who has a dog in the Fort Worth area!

We have been boarding our dogs and sending for occasional daycare to Cowtown for years and could not love it more! The staff is incredible- so friendly and know our dogs by name every time they walk in. Our dogs are ecstatic from the minute we pull into the parking lot, we love the pics they send throughout the stay and our dogs always come home happy. Couldn't imagine sending Rooster and Joe anywhere else.

Cowtown Canines are always great with our dogs, Sassy and Trixie who are sometimes moody. . They call with any medical issues and even send me pictures to put my mind at ease when we're out of town. Our dogs love to go there which is nice to know they're cared for while we can't be with them. Highly recommend Cowtown!

Cowtown Canines is simply THE BEST! My pup is nervous around new people and they took the time to really get to know her and make her comfortable. She LOVES going to "school" now and runs in everyday! I love seeing the pictures they post daily! It eases my mind so much to know she is being loved on while I am at work! The staff and owner are so kind and always responsive to my calls/texts. I cannot recommend them enough!

My dog absolutely loves it here and we have been coming here for years. The staff and the owner is always so nice and always ready to assist me in any way possible. I love that my baby boy isn't locked up in a cage all day while in daycare and Boarding. He gets to run and play and just be a happy dog. They always send me pictures of him throughout the day and also post plenty on Facebook. Also, I love the fact that I don't have to pay extra for my dog to have a play time or play group like a lot of other places. I'll never take my dog anywhere else.

May I advise that you do not take your pets there. I did not see alot of the red flags. This last time I took my dog for boarding they locked him up most of the time. I brought his pillow and it was never used. How do I know, my dog sheds and sometimes the place smells. His food was half gone but it looks like he lost a few pounds. I sent treats for him and my daughters dog all the treats were gone.
He stayed in a corner once he got home for a couple of days. He got refused to stay there again because he can open gates. My dog always has wounds when he stays there and if you ask Brittny she says if you don't like it here take them elsewhere which we did. There are no locks on their gates. I paid cash for the boarding and thank goodness I asked for a receipt.
I had to prove to the owner I paid. Very poor book keeping. Christian took my money as we had also paid for play dates. When the owner came back to reimburse me she said I owed them $20.00 and instead of the $63.000 she owed me she gave me $12.00. Brittny is rude has no customer service skills. They cannot keep help and its a very large turnover. If you ask to tour the facility you can't get past the front door. I hope this place is shut down.

I am appalled at the comments on here. I am very picky about who is around my dog and especially who watches my dogs. I am at complete ease leaving my fur babies here. Not only are they loved, but are very happy to go play and sometimes are stubborn about leaving. I have recommended Cowtown Canines to all of my dog loving friends and have NEVER heard any complaints.
I love that the facility is clean and always smells fresh when I walk through the door. The staff is very friendly and I will continue to take my babies here. Thank you everyone for truly caring about my pets. I appreciate that more than you know.

Has to be the worst place you could ever take your dogs, I know I will never be taking mine back. The staff will try to make up a sincere excuse for why they aren't so terrible and why I must just be crazy for not agreeing with their unsuitable facility and faculty. and that says something. Stay away if you love your dog!

We've been bringing our dog here for nine years! They treat you and your dog like family. My dog LOVES going here and runs to the front door every time we pull up to the building! If you have a high energy dog and work all day, like we do, it's a life saver! The employees are all very kind and professional and responsive to any questions you have. Great business!

5 out of 5 Licks for their anesthesia-free canine dental cleaning! My 11 yr old female Labrador (80 lbs); 3+ yr old male Golden Retriever (100 lbs); and two 1 1/2 yr old female labradors (approx 65 lbs each) told me all I needed to know. We relaxed (tried to relax, the dogs were a little anxious and when they lost their Golden boy, AJ, to the place behind the door. the girls didn't handle AJ disappearing too well.) But, upon seeing AJ's reaction to Brittany. all changed.
Changing out one dog for another - the dog that already saw Brittany, AJ, licked her and wagged his tale with joy. Upon the next switch, same reaction. I can't imagine how great the world would be if all dental cleanings went so well. All four of my dogs showed me that Brittany is trustworthy and their clean teeth and happy demeanor reflects it.
This left me curious about the doggy daycare. While there, I saw two people taking their dogs for daycare. I stopped one on the way out to ask about it, and she raved about the place letting me know her little Golden Retriever loved it and always went in happy and tired when they got back home. I also was able to watch in amazement as a fur dad had his two dogs do tricks in order to get the chance to go inside. Now that would be a great feat if I can get mine to do that. I can't wait to take my pack back - how great is that!

Brittany literally works miracles! We have a miniature schnauzer that recently got diagnosed with diabetes, pancreatitis AND a urinary tract infection She is 10 and really needed to get her teeth cleaned, but I was too anxious to put her under. Brittany cleaned her teeth without anesthetic and it was amazing. She has MUCH better breath but more importantly feels so much better.
She literally came out of there a happier pup! Those ladies took amazing care of her, and I am so grateful. It was not expensive either, so honestly. why not?! If you are thinking of getting your pup's teeth cleaned, give them a call

I regret bringing my pooch here. I should have noticed some of the red flags when I brought him here for the "evaluation" that is required before they agree to do any future day care and/or boarding. First off, I was not given a tour of the facilities. I asked to step through the gated area and was told that area is off limits to everyone but staff. Looking back, I should have pressed and asked to see some kind of evidence of how the facilities are maintained.
No cameras, no access to the area, that's not good from a consumer perspective. After the evaluation my pup seemed fine so I scheduled boarding. He was boarded for a total of 3 nights (4 days of day care). I never received any calls regarding his behavior as being worrisome or problematic, so I didn't think too much of it. I know he has some separation anxiety but he's been boarded before with no problem.
I picked him up in the afternoon and he looked (and smelled) filthy. Because of this, I took him straight home to bathe. I live 10 minutes away. I bathed him myself and was SHOCKED and ALARMED to find several TICKS latched onto him. For reference, he is an indoor dog and was bathed prior to boarding. I take him out on short walks and routinely check him for fleas/ticks. He's never had ticks before.
I took photos right away and called even though it was after hours. I couldn't believe he was subjected to whatever disgusting or pest-infested conditions there were during those 4 days of boarding. Behaviorally, he seemed fine that day. The next day (and the days to follow) were (and still are) a nightmare. My dog has been vomiting, looks depressed, and has diarrhea.
I called the vet and they said these symptoms could be due to stress. I waited it out, gave my dog bland food because he wasn't eating his usual kibble, and I was trying to raise his spirits with play and walks. His condition hasn't improved so he was taken to the vet. I don't have phone access during work hours so it took a day or two for me to speak with Brittany, the owner.
She apologized for the condition Brody was sent back in, however, she denied that the ticks were related to his stay during boarding. There is no other explanation for his ticks and she did not concede this point. For the inconvenience she offered to refund 100% of boarding fees, which I accepted. They kept the tip I left. While she was on the phone with me she began to tell me that my dog was stressed out and urinating in his crate.
I have no idea how long this persisted and am frustrated that this was never communicated to me during boarding. Needless to say, I really don't recommend this boarding/day care facility. Staff were nice and I appreciate the compensation for my stay, however the worry and stress this has caused me is priceless. My dog continues to have diarrhea and I'm having to pay hundreds in vet fees to evaluate and treat my dog. Prior to boarding he was clean and healthy. I can't say the same for how he's been after boarding. See attached photos for ticks.

New to town and this establishment has an alluring website. I filled out the introductory paperwork two months in advance for the temperament test for our dog. Had to specify an appointment time for the requested day. I arrive and they haven't read any of the answers to the multi-page questionnaire they require. Multiple red flags when I am not allowed to have a tour of the facility. "Insurance liability" is cited.
I say okay, may I see the video cameras for the outside play areas that I cannot see? There are none. I tell her this raises a number of red flags and she is unconcerned. I did not realize until visiting that the dogs are crated when boarded, "but are so worn out from all day play they just go to sleep" which would not be true for my anxious pup, and again, I could not see where they are boarded either.
The website does not mention the surge pricing over holidays; I get the impression the crates are stacked up like firewood. We visited Camp Bow Wow the next day, had these concerns addressed and made future boarding reservations there.

Cannot say enough good things about Cowtown Canines and their staff. An excellent boarding and daycare experience. We have been taking our extremely hyper, challenging dog here for the past two years-- they are incredibly patient. They communicate with you about your dogs behavior and genuinely help you be a better dog parent. Brittany (the owner) takes such pride in her work, her staff and her services. Has gone above and beyond with our dogs, multiple times. Very affordable rates for ancillary services like bathing, nail clipping and teeth cleaning. You will not regret using them!

My dog came back from this boarding place with all four of her paws bleeding, limping, and needing to be carried. I did not receive a call from anyone at the facility nor did they comment on the fact that she was injured when I picked her up. Will not be taking my dog here in the future as she was clearly not properly cared for during her stay. This also happened during a weekend when she was there for three days only.

There are many places in DFW you can take your dog for daycare. But most of them aren't run by someone who puts animals first. The owner is a true animal lover, and she and her staff are very careful during the screening process. This ensures the playing field is full of happy, friendly dogs, which is very important for the safety and well-being of your baby.
They could make more money by accepting all dogs, but they feel safety is more important than fatter pockets and that says everything. That's integrity. We trust only Cowtown Canines with our dogs and always will. Take any bad reviews with a grain of salt and get the other side of the story. These folks are incredibly professional, and will love your dog as much as you do. You'll see it first-hand.

Trip has been going here for over a year now and he LOVES it, so do we! I know they care about him and love him, and I know that he is safe and having a great time when I drop him off. I really like Cowtown too because I know they don't let him get away with bad corgi behavior, so they keep his little fluffy behind in line and he doesn't develop bad habits.
He likes it too, always FLIES in to the building and is so very happy to see all the employees at the front. When I come to pick him up he will just lay down and refuse to leave, ha! If you are looking for a place and Cowtown Canines is in your area, don't hesitate, put your puppy in for some awesome playtime!

Walked in to do a tryout out day and walked right back out. Trying out places in the area for 24 hour service while we are on vacation this summer. Met rudely by front desk girl. I scheduled my dog for an all day care so the facility could see if she would work out or not. Other facility's in the area do free interviews. This place requires an all day stay at $25. Really, no big deal.
I scheduled for 8:00 not knowing what time I would actually get there. I walked in at 930 and receptionist said "we had you down for 8:00 and it's 930." They also crate dogs which other area facilities do not.

I would give 10 stars if I could. My Abby loves it here she always comes home happy and tired from playing all day with her friends. I get to see pictures online of her having a blast. I have tried the doggy daycare, boarding, and nail trim and all are supurb. I was shocked to hear someone at a local dog park tell me that the doggy daycare they take their dog they have to pay extra to get their loved on, played with, and attention? Take your dog to Cowtown Canines its all included.

Cowtown Canines is my dog's favorite place! Hudson knows exactly where we are when we pull into the parking lot and can't contain his excitement. Its so nice being able to drop him off all day while I'm at work and not worry about the care he's receiving. Hudson has also been boarded here a few times. While boarding, he is able to play all day and then go home with the owner for the night.
The staff is great and Brittany, the owner, is very knowledgeable. They add pictures and videos of the dogs every day so you can see what they've been up to. Hudson is exhausted when I pick him up. Overall, a great place to send your dog for the day or overnight.

Cowtown Canines is an excellent choice for daycare and/or boarding. They are professional, nice and caring. Your dog will even be checked to ensure it "plays well with others" to ensure harmony in the play groups. I send my mixed breed for daycare once or twice a week, just to give him some exercise. He races to the door of my house at the mention of going and is tired but happy when I pick him up. The staff has excellent attention to detail on boarding and day care. Great place overall!

Cowtown canines is BY FAR the best place I have taken my very energetic 14 month old puppy, Charley, for daycare! We tried 3 other places and he always came home with so much energy that we wondered if he had been in a kennel all day. He is so tired when he comes home from Cowtown Canines that he barely eats dinner and then falls asleep! It is very obvious that he plays ALL day while he is there. He is excited to be dropped off in the morning and is happy when we pick him up. He loves going to daycare!
