Aquatic Dog

I have bought a few fish here. You're really better off shopping local rather than a big chain store. Their betta are kept in full sized tank and cared for until purchased. Gourami are healthy and lively, the one I purchased is actively exploring their tank after being acclimated unlike Gourami I've bought from chain stores that are lethargic and die within a week.

How is it still legal to sell puppies in stores like this? Do not buy from here - the dogs most likely came from puppy mills which is extremely inhumane

It you are looking for a sign and debating to buy a dog from here or not, this is your sign! DO NOT! If I could put 0 stars I would. Bought a puppy from here, least to say it was unhealthy and most likely came from a puppy mill! Our puppy DIED randomly 3 months after buying. Not only did we spend 3k on the new addition to the family, they sold us a sick puppy!

Instead of taking care of my family and I, they then offered us 100$ off a new dog. Not only was it a traumatic and horrible experience having your brand new baby die, but the customer service on top of everything was terrible. This has been one the worst and heartbreaking experiences I've had in my whole life.

The older gentleman who runs this store is one of the most kind pet store owners I've met. With so many stores running low on aquarium supplies, he seems to keep the necessities almost always on hand. A little gem of a pet store

I had a great experience with my little weiner. Everything was very smooth and the owners were patient with me through all of my questions and phone calls. My puppy did have a bad case of giardia, but I know that can be common so it was to be expected, so no complaints. Thank you!

I bought my whoodle dog Jasper in July of last year and he is a awesome dog I had a great experience and take my dog in there all the time very friendly people.

Love this place, saw it when we were going to an eatery next door. This is my new fave pet store! The fish tanks are clean and they have a fantastic variety of fish. Many uncommon finds. But then the PUPPIES! They had several and you could pet them! If you need a dose of puppy love go here!

We recently adopted a puppy from here and they have been fantastic through the entire process. The puppy we got was in excellent health, but wasn't eating a whole lot the first couple of days we had him. Greg went out of his way to provide help in getting the puppy to eat. We could tell that he was concerned for the puppies health even after he joined our family. Great place to work with would highly recommend if you're looking to adopt.

I can not talk highly enough about Aquatic Dog. Everyone here is amazing and knows what they are talking about. I worked here for a little bit over a year and it was honestly one of the best jobs I had ever had. The owners are incredibly sweet and Maggs is incredible. I tell everyone I know to go here if they are looking for fish or a new little friend, this is the best place to go. All animals are more than well taken care of, I promise.

This place made me extremely sad. Although the puppies and fish looked healthy, one kennel (glass holding box) of puppies did not have access to water. This is a clear department of agriculture violation. They said the puppies come from reputable breeders, but I asked and the breeders do not take back the puppies if the adoption isn't the best fit.

I wouldn't even call it adoption, as long as you have the money you can get a puppy. What is even worse is that the Dumb Friends League is a 30 second drive away. I understand that it is more accessible to pick up a pure-bred dog immediately from this store, but if you keep an eye out on the shelter website they have poodles and poodle mixes often.

Overall please adopt and shop RESPONSIBLY, go learn about the breeder if you want a pure-bred puppy. No reputable breeders would send their animals to this store (or any pet store). Reputable breeders want to meet the family that their puppy is going to. PLEASE take into consideration that the Dumb Friends League is literally 30 seconds away before you buy a dog from this pet dealer.

This place is seriously the best. I've been coming here since I was a kid and now bring my kids in when I need fish or fish supplies, they love seeing the puppies. The tanks are immaculate and I never have to worry about sick fish. Every fish I have gotten from here has been healthy and lived a long life. The owners are knowledgeable and super friendly. This place is nowhere near my house but so worth the drive. Do yourself a favor if you keep fish (or need a puppy) and check this place out. Customer for life!

Our cavapoo turned one today! We purchased him from aquatic dog and we are so so happy we did. He's healthy happy and just perfect.

Do not buy a dog from here. I bought a puppy from here for 3 grand. It was in other words a bad dog (had bad genetics and such) long story short. Got very connected to the pup only for it to die 5 months after I bought it. If you are looking to get a puppy do not buy here! I am so sad and grieving this puppy and what they did to me and my family was not right. The blonde older lady also had such a bad attitude selling me the dog. Because of this experience I don't think I could ever get a puppy again

If you are looking for a puppy Aquatic Dog is the place to go. Greg and Sheila were great in guiding us through the adoption of Henry. Their prices are reasonable and they were able to accommodate us by taking deposits while we waited 2 months for Henry to come home. When we picked him up, Sheila provided us with info on his parents, his medical history, and microchipping.

I was hesitant in purchasing a puppy retail, but Greg and Sheila changed my mind. They have the puppies share a pen to be socialized. The puppies' pens are immaculate and all the pups I've visited have great temperaments. It's worth the trip to stop in a talk to them about your next puppy!

I cannot thank Greg & Sheila enough for helping us get our dream pup! We are absolutely OBSESSED with this little angel! We approached Aquatic Dog over the summer to inquire about Corgi's and it just so happened they were expecting some Corgi puppies the next month from one of the breeders they work with! Aquatic Dog provided all of her paperwork (boosters she'd already gotten, paperwork on her mom, etc.) AND they paid for our first trip to the Vet to get her checked out!

They also set us up with all the essentials: collar, leash, toys, food, treats, crate, dog bed, etc. They were extremely helpful and we'll forever be grateful! Thank you for making our dream a reality!

Purchased my sweet little baby Aspen from them! Super sweet, friendly staff who were willing to answer all questions. I just moved to CO from OH and missed my parents little dogs so much. I called one morning and they were excited to tell me all the pups available. I purchased her that same day! They took the time to give me training tips, paperwork, advice and answered all questions about the breeder. You even get the first vet visit for free. she is a very healthy and happy pup.

I have found this to be the best customer service in a fish store in the Denver metro area. Greg is very knowledgeable and more than willing to help you determine what will or will not be a good fit in your tank without talking down to you. Each employee I have interacted with at this store has been friendly and helpful. I appreciate that they have expanded their offerings in the last year or two with both fish and plants and that I can pick up items for my dog here as well. They all work hard to help you have a good experience and it shows. This place is a product and customer service gem!

Absolutely love this place. The owners were very helpful in setting up my tank and picking out the right fish for me. They were great when I needed to return a bully fish (who terrorized the other fish) for another. They have a great selection of fish ranging from beginner-level fish to high-quality advanced fish. I HIGHLY recommend this place for everyone!

Great selection of fish however one of my recent purchases included a sick fish which has now cost me 12 fish and counting. I was disappointed that the employee tried to avoid fault by blaming my tank. This is the first instance of a disease in over 3 years and I've only bought fish from Aquaticdog in the last month or so. The lesson - inspect the fish before leaving the store.

The puppies at this place really seem like they're from puppy mills. And the fact that Aquatic Dog provides no information about the source of their puppies beyond vague phrases like "reputable breeders" with no specifics or proof makes this place even more suspect. It's appalling and upsetting. What's even more disgusting is that the Dumb Friends League (and the chance to rescue a dog/puppy in need) is literally right across the street. Stop supporting the puppy mill industry via stores like Aquatic Dog.

This place is awesome! I blame them entirely for my recent obsession with all things freshwater fish. The owner and employees are so wonderful; they are entirely responsible for keeping my critters alive and healthy with their advice. They get unique, healthy aquatic life that you can't find anywhere else and are great about educating. Given how beautiful the animals and how clean the tanks/store, prices are shockingly reasonable/fair.

In talking to others. this place is well known among the serious aquarium people and considered a jewel in the Denver area. If you are a newbie. only visit if you are prepared to fall in love with the underwater world. Enter this friendly, clean, gorgeous little store at your own risk :

The staff at Aquatic Dog is very attentive and knowledgeable. We buy most of our fish here -they have a great selection and the prices are very reasonable! Best part is Thomas the resident cat! We appreciate the cleanliness and huge selection of plants and fish. We drive from Centennial to support them.

If you want a nice friendly local pet store, go elsewhere. I went in and the tall employee was helpful and offered plenty of information on the fish and aquatic life. But the owner has been absolutely rude on several occasions, to the point of blaming me for making a return of a product with the receipt, and everything in the box in perfect working order.

I went in to look for a light to possibly replace the more expensive one I had been looking at. I decided a few days later on the more expensive one because of the customization of light bulbs and went in to return the old product. After asking why I wanted to return it he told me he "isn't here to take care of my fish" and that he "Needs to pay his employees a living wage, and not a rental store" I explained I was looking at both to compare but that didnt matter.

He was already spitting more things about me under his breath. I love the sweet shop cat and wish his owner took a few tips from him and his employees at how to be nice to customers!

A great store to pick out healthy fish for your fish tank. I find that Petsmart doesn't receive the freshest of betas, but this store has the highest quality of beta fish, plus other fish I have not seen before. The tanks are very clean and the fish are happy to be darting around. They also have an excellent selection of everything you need to start an aquarium, plus lots of animal products for dogs and cats.

They also have a small selection of miniature breeds of puppies that are taken care of lovingly, and are watched over by alert eyes. Every creature in this store is cared for very well. I was duly impressed.

Stopped in on my way home to pick up some CBD oil for my kitty, who's been having joint pain. They carry Pet Releaf drops for cats and dogs, at the same price the manufacturer sells them online. Also picked up some natural gourmet canned food and treats. Great selection at very competitive prices. Clean store with a friendly feline to greet you at the door. The owner/manager was also very nice and helpful. I will come back for some treats soon.
