Our Indy location is approximately 2 miles south of the 465 on the northeast side of Indianapolis. From Binford Boulevard, head west on 65th Street & turn north onto Stone Center Way. We're the last building on the left, next door to the Stone Center & Paige's Music. Our West/Avon facility is conveniently located one mile west of I-465 at the corner of Rockville Road (US 36) and Girls School Road. We are next door to Dollar General.
While our doors may be closed during specific holidays, our staff is in to provide care all 365 days of the year. The first step is to complete our Temperament Evaluation process. Safety is our first priority, so we do this to ensure all the dogs are socially stable and get along and play well with others.
Daycare at Puppy Playground offers a completely interactive day for your dog! Promoting a fun and active environment where dogs get to be dogs, pups are free to romp with canine friends in our huge indoor/outdoor, cage-free play yards. To ensure safe play groups, each dog participating must first complete our Enrollment Application.

Never written one of these before, but my baby was sick so have to vent. First time came back with diarrhea. No big deal. Last time boarded her for one night because I was getting married, and she came back with kennel cough on the verge of pneumonia. Dog pool there just sickness waiting to happen, after given a bath she was just released back with the other dogs so she came back twice as smelly. Staff though was very nice. That's about it.

Puppy Playground or "recess" as it's known in our house is Daphne's home away from home. Actually, I think she enjoys being there more than home and why wouldn't she - all of her besties are there to play with! The staff is amazing with all of the dogs and make them feel so loved. And they're wonderful to work with when we drop her off and pick her up, always smiling and happy to be there, which so clearly creates a happy environment for the puppies to thrive during daycare and/or boarding.

This is my dogs favorite daycare place! They take great care of him, allow him outside access all day (which is great because he loves the outdoors) and have all sorts of activities to keep him occupied! I've never seen him more excited. Anytime he knows he's going to daycare he sprints around with excitement! If you are thinking of a great place to take your dog best friend, this is the best place in Indy!

We love Puppy Playground! Chuck was instantly a happy boy when we dropped him off for his initial evaluation. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I did not feel rushed as I asked lots of questions. The vibe was also calm and peaceful despite 100+ dogs in the daycare room! We are excited to be a part of the pack!

Puppy playground is the only place i would ever trust with my dogs. The staff is caring and patient with each and every dog that comes through the facility and it really seems like they all enjoy their jobs and they are always very polite and professional. Especially the manager Doran, i don't think there is a person i have ever known in my life that connects with dogs the way he does. I don't trust anyone else to care for my dogs.

We love Puppy Playground! We switched to PP after having issues getting reservations at another place consistently. We love that we don't have to have a reservation for daycare. Our dog has a great time and comes home exhausted, in the best way. They regularly do cute additional things (Super Bowl party, Valentines Day kissing booths, photos with Santa) that are really fun too.
The staff is always super friendly. They also do grooming and baths, which is a great time saver. We haven't used PP for an overnight stay yet (thanks COVID!) but know our pup will be in good hands when we do.

My puppy loves this place! Staff are so friendly and seem genuinely excited to see him. With Covid, I couldn't have properly socialized my puppy without them. I am fortunate; my puppy is a pretty chill dude, but he still comes to daycare because he returns sleepy and happy. I wish I lived closer because we would come more often.

Our first visit was great. We needed to find a place to board our dog for an upcoming vacation and they wanted to do an assessment if she will be a good fit. The staff was very welcoming, gentle and gave our dog a lot of attention. They were very organized and really put us at ease. When I went to pick her up they had an excess of 150 dogs on site, but they were all very well behaved and happy.
There was no chaos, loud barking or rough play. They somehow managed to keep all the dogs calm and happy. You can tell the staff really loves dogs and take extra care. We will definitely go back! They offer daycare with no appointments needed (very reasonably priced), so if you just want some peace and quiet, have them help take care of your dog for the day!
