These folks are great! Very professional and did a nice groom for my puppy. They also offered me "table time" at no charge to train my puppy to be groomed and not fearful. Nice service

The staff is always friendly and love my pit/lab mix. We deliver Eddie to them stinky and we pick him up shiny, happy, and smelling like springtime! Thanks, Daniel and staff!

I've taken my huskies here in the past and they've always done a wonderful job with furminating but today I took my little girl and I can't get over how nice her cut is! She was (unsurprisingly) a total terror on the table and she still looks incredible. can't get over it. Love this place!

Could barely get the pup to sit still for a picture but they did SUCHHHH a good job! I asked for round face to trace the jawline and bell bottoms on her feet :)))

We were over the moon when we found out that West End Grooming was excepting larger dogs. We have two very mild mannered Akitas and had to take them across town to have them groomed. The other place was subpar at best. One of our dogs cannot jump up and down from our vehicle or on to a grooming platform. The gentle employees at West End lift him like he weighs nothing and our boy is not fearful with them. I would recommend West End to all of my neighbors and friends who have animals, they are just fantastic!

Thorough, detail-oriented, truly wonderful. The staff genuinely love dogs and want them to feel good as well as look good. They have thoughtfully eased my puppy into grooming and now he gets excited when he realizes we are on the way to an appointment, even though he usually hates riding in a car. Dog is always retuned to me walked and well-loved.

They are a bit pricier than some other groomers but in addition to the canine experience, the staff seem happy to be there so I hope/imagine that I am also funding a positive work environment and a decent wage, which is important to me. If only they offered boarding! Also, excellent Covid protocols were a further testament to their responsible ethos.

We love West End Grooming! They make grooming so easy and stress free for my sensitive pup. She's not a fan of the new COVID curbside procedures and have been so accommodating to keep grooming a positive experience for all. Daniel is extremely friendly and best of all my doodle always looks great, exactly what I ask for each and every time. Thanks for the great service.

I have been bringing my dog to West End Grooming for sixteen years now and have always received great service. They have taken great care of my little dog and he always looks so handsome when I pick him up. This week my car was vandalized twice and the manager was extra thoughtful. I can't speak highly enough of this place and will continue to bring my dog here whenever I am in town.

They are amazing. My dog has always been terrified of going to the groomers and she actually ENJOYS coming here and sometimes doesn't want to leave! Great people and they really care about you and love your pets. Can always trust them to do an awesome job and their prices are super fair.

This is the best place in Austin and if you go to UT the best closest place. Less $ then every other place around and still two times better. Daniel is the owner and always there which makes it awesome and direct. Love it and my pyredoodle looks better than ever

Kit and Fran are hands down the BEST groomers in Austin. You can trust you fur buddy with them totally and they make sure your pet has a great experience as well as a wonderful cut. Kudos you two for being a Austin treasure.

This is the best place I have taken my dog! The staff are THE friendliest people. They are always so so welcoming and eager to talk or answer any questions. I completely trust them with whatever my pup would need. They always are open to explain what a certain cut will look like or what my dog needs so I don't pick her up and end up shocked. They have a wide time window for morning drop off so it's easy before work and flexible for pick up time as well so I don't have to worry about getting there until after I'm off. I plan to be a long term client!

This place is wonderful! It was our first time there and they made me feel so welcome even though I was running late. They paid great attention to exactly how I wanted my girl groomed. She looked and felt fabulous by the time I picked her up. Recommend 100%!

We had a wonderful experience with West End Grooming and will be coming back! Daniel and his team were so sweet and accommodating to our 5 month old doodle. What a wonderful place to treat your pup! They took extra time time make sure our boy came home clean and happy! I got there a little early and saw that they were so gentle while trimming his nails. I could feel that they truly love what they do and LOVE all the animals! The new owners are awesome!

If I could rate them 10 stars I would! I have been taking my dog to West End for a few years now and I absolutely love everyone who I have interacted with and the job they do on my dog. Everyone is so nice and welcoming and they always try to accommodate schedules (though it is always best to book well in advance). I'm so sad to be moving away from Austin and not having them groom my dog. He always comes back looking great!

Daniel has been caring for our 3 dogs for years now! So when we heard that he and his sweet wife took over West End Grooming. we were so proud and couldn't wait to try out their services! We have three HUGE Shepard's that aren't always easy to tend to! When we picked them up. they looked amazing and so happy! West End Grooming. you guys did a fantastic job and we will definitely be spreading the word!

To say my dog is particular is an understatement. I took him into west end grooming and Daniel the owner and staff took great care of my diva child, Buttons. They take special care with even the most nervous dogs. You can tell they have years of experience. If you have to groom your dog, they are in the best hands at West End grooming.

If you care about the integrity of where you take your pets, go elsewhere! The new owners have ruined what used to be a great place and broke trust with it's clients and community. The original owners were amazing, but unfortunately, were unexpectedly let go without warning to any of the customers when the new owners took over. My dog is a rescue and a new groomer would have had to be trained to take care of her properly, which was not possible with the abrupt changes.

The new owners (Daniel and Jenni) sent out a sob story letter after the fact, when many former clients left as I did. Karma's a bitch, Daniel. There are many other wonderful groomers in Austin that treat people and pets with respect, but in my opinion, the new WEG does not deserve Austin's business.

Said to say that Fran & Kit have sold the business and retired. I think some of the groomers have stayed, but I decided to move to another groomer closer to my home.

Hands down the BEST! I've had my "child" groomed at a few places in Austin and he would shiver when I pulled up to the previous places I was taking him. NOW, he jumps out of the car and runs in. That's enough to let me know he's in good hands and always looks like a superstar when I pick him up. *side note I had a flat tire one morning on the day of his appt., the owner offered to swing by and pick him up. Customer service beyond! They're booked about 2-3 months out so always pre-book!

Could not be more impressed with the grooming of my new furry friend Tucker who was very matted and flea ridden. He looks like a brand new dog. Very sweet and caring lady. Got me right in. Wonderful service. Don't think you could find a better place in Austin for your grooming needs. Will DEFINITELY and back!

HEROES OF THE DAY! I rescued this sweet little dog completely covered in mats. Petco couldn't do it because it was so severe, and it looked like I might have to take her to get it done at a vet (very costly!). But luckily I was referred to West End Grooming; they could not only take on the challenge (amazing groomers), but they did it for free! Amazing service and team, just look at this before and after!

Love these gals and their excellent service. I've been taking my pups (standard poodles) to West End for 14 years now. Aside from the quality grooming and attention they provide, that I, as "Mom", am thrilled with, my dogs jump out of the car and tug on the lead to get inside. Clearly, they love "spa day" at West End.

The best dog grooming establishment you'll find. They were attentive, kind, great with dogs, outstanding customer service. Price was right as well.

I have been looking for a good groomer around in the central Austin area, and I'm happy to have finally found West End Grooming! I brought my pup, Sadie, for a nail trim and nail grinding as a walk-in appointment. Sadie does NOT like her nails trimmed or her paws touched in general, so I'm always skeptical to try somewhere new. I was so happy with how relaxed Sadie was during her appointment, and she came out with her tail wagging.

This rarely happens with her after getting her nails done, so it was the most positive indication that the groomers at West End are great with dogs. The prices were also really fair, $16 total for the nail trim and grind at that time. We'll be happy to return to West End Grooming!

Just took my dog to West End for the first time to get her nails trimmed. They put her on the grooming table and slipped a rope around her neck to keep her in place. The groomer stepped away for a second, and my dog stepped off the table. She was hanging in the air with a rope around her neck for a second or so. The groomer then saw her and put her back on the table.

My dog appears to be fine, but this is so incredibly ridiculous. My dog was literally being hung by her neck. There is a window into the grooming room, so I saw it all happen. I can't understand how a professional dog groomer could let a dog hang suspended in the air with a rope around her neck.
