The new ownership and management team has significant experience in providing the highest quality care and training and are dedicated to preserving Onion Creek's strong legacy. Onion Creek Kennels offers the highest quality service in Dog Boarding, Cat Boarding, Dog Day Care, and Pet Grooming services to clients living in the Buda, Driftwood, Kyle, Manchaca and South Austin area.

Busy work schedule? No problem. Onion Creek Kennels provides a safe, monitored and personalized environment for your dog to play with others. We provide a controlled and monitored environment, in which approved dogs can interact and play throughout the day. Convenient to the Buda, Driftwood, Kyle, Manchaca and South Austin areas, clients can drop off or pick up their their dogs Monday-Friday 7:00am-7:00pm. Our spacious facility includes 40 kennel runs and many separate fenced play yards to accommodate different sizes and play styles.
Onion Creek Kennels is happy to provide a fun and unique environment for our feline guests. Every cat has an exclusive habitat with three different compartments. Each kitty compartment is 2 feet by 2 feet, offering plenty of room for all the needs of your pampered pet. Each habitat is outfitted with a fleece bed for cozy sleeping and lounging.

I have been a customer for at least 6 years. Onion Creek Kennels is a fantastic place to board your dogs. Our dogs are always happy to go there, and they return both happy and tired. One of our dogs is 17 years old and they take care for her like she was their own. Oh, and all the staff are professional, knowledgeable, and courteous.

Monica and team at Onion Creek Kennels are amazing! They are very responsive, understanding and careful with our three dogs. Easy online booking and they are very accommodating for customers. They love our sweet babies who get their own playtime and extra care. I would definitely recommend them if you are in S Austin, Kyle or Buda area.

I have been taking my babies to Lisa for the past 25 years she is amazing with my now Schnauzers Gretchen and Jack and previously with my one and only Mike. Lisa is kind and loving and her grooming skills are exceptional. You can not put a price on trusting your family members will be treated with respect and love.

I will not be going back here. Last time I brought my dog here it cost $42.87 including tax. This time it was $70.36. Price should be discussed beforehand. When I dropped him off I told them what I wanted & they did more than what I asked for. This should have been talked about at or before drop off. When I made the appointment on the phone would have been perfect.
There was no apology or remorse for the misunderstanding/miscommunication. I will go to a more reputable & professional place from now on, most likely our vet. I trust them to be kind, they go by appointment, & it costs a little less. Honestly I didn't know the vet offered this service until I read a review here.

LOVE Onion Creek Kennels! My two fur babies are always so happy after staying here :) We don't live in Austin but visit often and like to have our dogs near us (if we are unable to stay in a place that is dog friendly). So we bring them and board them here. I have used many other places and NEVER have I felt so comfortable. The employees are all so sweet and give so much puppy love! They always smell and look wonderful when we pick them up. Highly recommend
