The mission of First Coast No More Homeless Pets is to make veterinary care affordable and accessible to all as we save lives by keeping dogs and cats in homes and out of shelters, provide low-cost spay/neuter services with emphasis on feral/community cats, and deliver a broad range of related programs and services.
First Coast No More Homeless Pets runs one of the largest spay/neuter clinics in the country and also the largest safety-net veterinary hospital in the Southeast U.S. We help thousands of people and pets each year with affordable veterinary care. We offer affordable, accessible care that allows pet owners to keep pets in homes and out of shelters.
Our Norwood Veterinary Clinic, located on the Northside of Jacksonville (conveniently located right off I-95 at exit 358), is one of the largest spay and neuter clinic in the country. Spaying or neutering pets lowers the number of unwanted puppies and kittens entering the shelters each year. We know spay/neuter is the one sure way to end the needless killing of cats and dogs in shelters. Schedule your spay or neuter appointment by phoning our call center at 904-425-0005, ext 2, any day of the week from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Proper pet vaccination is vital to pet health and wellness. Making an appointment for vaccinations each year can help you avoid costly health problems for your pet(s) in the future. The feline core vaccination series (FVRCCP) and feline leukemia protection are recommended for all cats, especially those who spend time outdoors.

Love hate relationship with this place. I like the feral cat program. And the kitten packages. It's affordable for sure, I've got to give them that. This place stays booked 4 weeks out and then you have a walk in option where you can wait for 3+ hours to he seen. Why there's only one doctor on a Saturday is beyond me. What you save in money you spend in time. But, I've never had a bill exceed $400. So there's that.

The staff was absolutely amazing and caring, I came in with an emergency, no appointment and never a previous client with them, and they still got me in promptly and worked out a financial plan with me! The staff truly cares about the animals, were so sweet and easy to work with, And i will be coming back here for any needs with any of my pets.

In the past they were great but that was different ownership I guess that's what I heard from the lead technician there that has been there since they open. This is the worst mistake I ever made in my life for one of my pets, my dog had to have its leg amputated. Four just shots I would give them average review, but you probably would get more care for your animal if you took them to PetSmart.
Other than shots their prices are not much less than any other veterinarian in town. I would much rather pay 20 to $30 extra to know that my dogs under good care. Also with that 20 or $30 extra you would get to see the doctor you're lucky if the doctor even calls you from there and with all their technicians that came from McDonald's or grocery store to work are not even smart enough to reply to you what the doctor ask them to say

I have brought both my old shizu's here in the past 4 months. In both cases we thought they were not going to live very much longer. The doctors and staff were very professional and didn't try and sugar coat or give any false hope based on the symptoms both dogs were showing at the time. They offered only the tests and treatments that they thought absolutely necessary, therefore saving us a lot of money that I know other Vet Clinics in the area would not have done. Fortunately there worst predictions did not come true and the medicine and treatments they received saved both there lives, giving us more time to spend with our furry children.
I would recommend them over any clinic in Florida. They helped save our dogs and didn't fill us with false hope if the worst happened. I will always be grateful for what they did for us. If you have a chance to donate or help out in any way this organization, know what you give is helping to improve and save animals lives and emotionaly improve there owners lives as well. Thank you for everything you've done for my family.

They have helped me through my struggle with my dog Zues. He was so sick and they were there for him. It was a long road to go but it was worth going the distance. I thank all the staff for their patience and support and the doctors for their understanding and willingness not to give up. He is our best friend and we could never give up on him either. We all thank you so much for everything and for being there for us in our time in need.
