I purchase a lab from LabPups that was born on 6/8/2021 and he turned out to be a Dudley Lab which means he does not have the dark eyes nose, gums and feet which yellow labs are known for he was born without the pigment that gives the dark colors, so he has what is called pink colors instead. his ears do not hang down but stick out before tilting down, I was wanting a lab that looked like a yellow lab but not what I received I have not received his registered documents he was supposed to be a registered lab for 1800 dollars I hope he is, I have texted several times to try and get his papers to no avail no returned text, this was even a problem when trying to purchase the puppy, and even when I went to see the puppies I was left waiting at the gate even though I had appoints each time I went, I would not recommend anyone purchase a lab from Labpups, if you do go to look at labs at their location plan on going to thru several what I call deep mud holes to get to the gate, not a good first impression.

I cannot say enough great things about the Woods family and their dogs! We just picked up our puppy and she is hands down the best lab puppy I have ever had! She is absolutely beautiful, but more importantly is such a good dog. She is happy, loving, and very laid back. After only two days at home with us, she is almost completely house broken and is already sleeping through the night.

She has her moments of the "zoomies" but is generally an extraordinarily calm puppy (especially for a lab). Additionally Tripper is very responsive and has been great with all of our questions since picking her up. The support we are getting from them is fantastic! Would HIGHLY recommend!

Our white/yellow lab, ranger, has been the best dog ever! Healthy, incredible temperament, and the envy of all of our friends! He was a breeze to train as well! Would 100% recommend lab pups of Charlotte!

We picked up our second pup from them this morning and I can already tell she's going to be just as sweet and perfect as the last one. We would highly recommend Trip and Tripper for any family looking for a perfect lab.

We paid for our dog and additional training (performed by Tripper at Lab Pups), and it was money well spent. Our dog is beautiful and very well-behaved. I would highly recommend Tripper and Lab Pups to anyone looking to get a lab - our dog has not had one accident in the house, doesn't chew on things he shouldn't chew, etc.

When simply informed that our latest lab purchased from lab pups suddenly went blind (she was 6 years old), owners would not respond to us for a week until we posted it publicly on Facebook trying to get a clearer family medical history to help narrow down causes. As it turned out we stumbled upon the answer being stage 4 cancer. After she died, Lab Pups then messaged us privately blaming us for the food we fed her not knowing/remembering that they themselves had recommended it to us personally when they stopped producing their own food due to supply issues years ago.

I don't blame them for the cancer, it can happen to anyone, or for believing in their product but blaming someone for their dog getting cancer is BEYOND inappropriate. Will NEVER recommend or purchase from them again.

It was Father's Day 2006 we made the trek from FL to NC to pick up our little bundle of yellow joy, Belle III. 13 yrs & 9 mths later we we sadly lost her to old age. What a wonderful life she had & what joy she provided to her family & friends. We're ready for Belle IV & this litter ready in October is oh so temping! Belle IV will not come from any other breeder but Tripper. Labpups is the best!

We have purchased 2 very fine Labs from Tripper Wood and LabPups over the years. Tripper has done an excellent job training both and always responsive to our questions. May be somewhat biased, however, our current 4 year old, Jagger, is one of the smartest dogs I have ever encountered. Everyone thinks so!

Our chocolate lab, Willow, was born on 5/8/2014. We got her as a companion for our husky, Bailey, and has been the best family dog! She is loyal, friendly and about as happy as a dog can get. She has been very tolerant and patient over the years with our three year old daughter. She has had no health problems in the almost 6 years we have had her. I can't express enough gratitude for our girl!

We had the most beautiful yellow lab for most of my adult life from here. He was very healthy and never had any issues. The best most loving temperament. He was really sweet, love all peopleand dogs. We just lost him last year, he was very old. He lived a great life. I highly recommend these guys. I was recommending them to a friend of ours today.

Well since I last posted about Labpups, we have added a fourth generation to the family. We love our new lab as much as the other 3 we have had. All of our girls receive compliments every time they go anywhere about how beautiful and well behaved they are. These are extremely smart dogs and as long as owners are consistent with training, the dogs train very easily!

The two sisters we received from Trip gave us the best (nearly 14 years) of our lives. Up until their last days we received compliments on how beautiful and well behaved they were. I've heard stories of hyper or destructive Labs, our were neither. Our baby girls were gentle with our human baby girls from the day we brought them home from hospital.

Neither dog ever broke or chewed anything. Both Labs were extremely easy to train. Our two silly angels. Trip and Tripper were amazing! We knew nothing about dogs but they quickly and patiently taught us everything we needed to know. They instantly became like family and even visited us in California. Best breed and best, most responsible, breeder!

I suppose I should add my review here. A little over 13 years ago, a friend (who knew I had a lab as a kid and that I desperately wanted another) brought me to North Carolina for a camping trip. On the way back, we stopped here and he actually bought me a black female Labrador as a gift. I named her Charlotte because, well, I was lazy and LabPups is in Charlotte! :-) Charlotte will be 14 years old in a few months.

Other than a bit of arthritis in the last year (hey, girl's old, ok?!) she has had no serious health problems. She has always been calm, cool, and collected. She much prefers humans to other dogs. Always has. We know she's much closer to the end of her life than the beginning now, but I can tell you that having this wonderful girl in my life for nearly 14 years has been absolutely incredible.

I can't imagine what life will be like without here, but it's been amazing WITH her. Tripp and his family were great on the day we came to get here and in the several years after. They were always available to answer questions. I have always believed that the Wood family still considers these "their dogs" long after you leave their home. It's very obvious that they care about the dogs and who they go home with.

I purchased my chocolate lab from lab pups about two years ago. I'm in Ohio they are in NC. My dog was hand delivered to me via airplane ride ~ I could have purchased a lab in my state, but I loved how professional lab pups were and how they breed their dogs. I get compliments all the time on his looks and his happy disposition. My dog loves dock diving, fetch and getting hugs from me :) I had a lab prior to getting this one ( first one was not from lab pups) and we dealt with allergies really bad.

Lab pups informed me on how food is a big cause of allergies. They told me about their jaxmax dog food and I'm totally sold on it. I have it shipped to my house ~ My dogs coat is beautiful and he has NO allergies. My purchase of my dog, wasn't the last contact with them. I've called panicked when my dog got into something and had surgery, Tripper calmly talked to me and reassured me my dog would be ok. I've had different questions, and they also respond ~ they treat us like family~ Labpups will be the only place I buy my next lab from.

If you are going to get a Labrador, this is the place! They are the most professional breeders I have ever met. If you are in the Charlotte area they provide boarding that will keep your dog happy. They also provide training, we did the training with our pup and are so pleased with the outcome. If you have a big dog they also make their own natural dog food called Jax Max. Our dog is hooked and we are hooked to our dog!

I bought my Lab, Sarah, nearly 7 years ago. This company claims they breed non aggressive family dogs. This is completely true. My dog has never shown one bit of aggression or violence. She mostly enjoys eating cookies and playing fetch. What else is important to know about this company is that when i lived in NC several years ago they had events and party's for you to attend.

This family still cares about its costumers even after you buy a dog, and thats a rare thing these days. If you are looking to buy a Lab, this is the place to go. I would not trade my dog for another in the world. If i ever decide to get another this will be my first and only stop.

This breeder is unresponsible and does not tell the truth at all. I got taken in by him. My puppy is 12 weeks and is very dominant and signs of aggression. Mr. Woods was fraudulent and is a very smooth talker. Do Not Trust Him or His Son. The dogs are not at all what his advertising states.
