I am so happy to have discovered Barkly Manor. My puppy was a bit shy and bringing her to Barkly Manor has helped her come out of her shell. I absolutely LOVE the pet report cards. They text and email me pics and keep me updated on what she is doing and who she made friends with! This place is so clean compared to other places!
Not only can you make online reservations, you will receive daily pet report cards! Ever wonder if your dog met a new buddy at day care? Barkly Manor sends daily emails and texts with photos and updates on how your dog's day went.

After shopping around at a few daycare/boarding places I went with this one and have been very pleased. They have an easy to use online reservation system, an independent/boutique feel, friendly staff who know my dog, and a nice overall space. They often provide anecdotes (and pictures!) about how my dog did during his stay, which shows that they care about my dog and are paying attention to him.

Yes five month later I write review because I emailed multiple times asking for clarification about what happened, including in October when this occurred and no one ever responded, so yes now I am leaving a review. I asked what happened and all your staff could say was that they took down a Great Dane nothing else, not what happened before, nothing.

Not even video evidence of what happened, my dog was hit and left with an open wound in his eye when he went there, I brought that to your staffs attention, did that dog get kicked out? Surely not right? As for the invoices, you system was down numerous time and each time it was, your staff would "open an invoice" because you couldn't charge the card I file or run the card, it is not my fault these added up.

Maybe have a working system? You also were not staffed multiple times your staff would apologize on almost every account for taking to long to bring dogs or coming to get dogs in the morning because you lacked staff. Multiple time this was said. And for the behavior, your staff said that one dog was "humpy" and went to time out but NEVER did they actively bring complaints to me, no calls no feedback after pick up, nothing.

I have a video you all sent of your employee telling another dog to "get him" and having and watching the other dog jump on mine. So is it really my dogs or were you not watching and are missing things? No one seems to be able to explain what lead up to any of the so called "behavior" you are now mentioning especially since apparently this has gone on before. So please if you're going to try and say it was my dogs feel free to send me the proof. And I will remove the review.

My dogs had been attending for close to a year when they were kicked out one day with no explanation other then "the put down a Great Dane" I asked what had happened prior because they're were issues with other dogs being mean to mine and my dogs do not just "put down" a dog for no reason. My dogs are not neutered either and when I went to pick them up I was told a whole different reason as to why they were needing to be picked up and that was because they weren't neutered and out of nowhere, without notice, they weren't accepting dogs that were not neutered.

Mind you my dogs had been there for a few hours when they told me this and they knew prior as I took my dogs 3 times a week. I reached out THREE times to try and get more information on what happened and if they were really not allowed back ever and NEVER received a single communication from anyone there. My dogs loved this place truly but if you're short staffed so much that it becomes unsafe to have a large number of dogs there, then maybe stop taking reservations for the day. And yes I know they were short staffed because anytime I went in to pick up my dogs they mentioned it.

My dog Neptune absolutely loves Barkly. After a solid year at this daycare I can't picture us using another one. He comes back super tired which is awesome as he's a husky. All I have to say to him is "you wanna go to daycare " and he is instantly an excited mess. They send pictures usually every day which is awesome and they do have simple grooming. Neptune and I appreciate all that y'all do! Thank you for taking such great care of my guy.

We've boarded our dogs at Barkly Manor a few times with no issues, but this last time was a little disturbing. I went in to pick my dogs up about 20 minutes ago and when I entered all staff were in the back with the dogs. I pressed the button to let them know I was there, but could hear a female staff member yelling obscenities and asking things like, "what the hell is wrong with you", and plenty of other harsh statements and questions.

We even heard what I feel like was a definite smack and whimpering following the woman's rant. She was speaking in such a mean tone towards what I'm assuming were the dogs. I was about to walk into the back of the kennel to make sure everything was okay, when the front desk staff came out. My 7 year old daughter was with me and was very disturbed by what happened.

She can attest that she heard a woman cussing, using a very mean tone, a smack-like should and whimpering. She was horrified when we got back into the car and she even said we shouldn't bring our dogs back there ever again because she's worried about the safety of the dogs. I didn't have my phone on me at the time, and really regret not having the ability to record the entire situation.

I will be contacting ownership and reporting the incident elsewhere. To be clear, my dogs seem just fine and I didn't actually see anything because it happened in the back of the facility - but I will not bring them back after hearing such horrific behavior from the female staff member in the back. I wish I had a visual on her, so I could directly report her behavior.

My dog had a terrible time there. She caught an infection that spread throughout her paws, and belly causing inflammation throughout her joints. She was limping and tender to the touch when I picked her up. Distressed, high heart rate and exhausted. No one called to let me know during her stay and the owner has not returned my calls. Dirty contamination should be addressed.

These folks treat your furry friends like family! They are attentive, caring, and communicative. My doggo loves it here. She loves her furry friends as much as she likes her two-legged treat handlers!

Always like the service. Very accommodating and dog loves it there. However, it would be nice if the front desk staff wore a mask as they have signs on the door and in the place requiring all people to wear masks. In the time of COVID uncertainty, would be nice to see that they actually care about their customers. Last few times I've dropped off and picked up, the guy at the front is never wearing anything and hardly concerned.

I waited a few weeks to write this because what happened irritated me so much. I brought my puppy in for his trial day and he was shy the entire time. I understand but it also struck me as odd because he was boarded at another facility and they said he did great and had a blast. He's also one of the most rambunctious dogs I know. but whatever. It was a new environment so I just attributed it to unfamiliar surroundings.

Now I'm not so sure. I did this trial day because I needed to board him for Thanksgiving. That day, I set up a reservation for boarding him. This was weeks before Thanksgiving. I get a call less than a week from Thanksgiving saying "we see you have a reservation but we're full". and I was honestly so confused. I had made the reservation weeks in advance so what was this?

The guy on the phone said "I dont know. The computer does what it does, I'm just telling you." So here we are with less than a week until Thanksgiving and nowhere to have him stay. Really unprofessional and not an acceptable business practice. The staff wasn't that friendly either. Won't be using this place again and quite honestly won't be recommending it to anyone else either.

My puppy Kiedis has been going for 3 months now. From the minute we get into the car to "play with the puppies" he is so excited to go to daycare. We are doing two days a week. He always comes home tired and happy. I do wish they did more social media IG stories because I do love being able to see him play. The entire staff is wonderful. Mo in particular is super friendly and I'm amazed how he knows every single dog and owner.

We're in the process of moving so we took our three girls in for an evaluation. Our youngest and oldest dogs are used to daycare, but our cattle dog mix gets separation anxiety so we don't take her as often. But she did amazing! The staff called us a few hours after we dropped them off to give us an update on each of our dogs (who they knew by name and when they described how they were doing, it was clear they knew each of our doggos).

We picked the dogs up about 5 hours ago and they are still pooped which is an amazing sign! We'll be taking our girls here often as we finish the moving logistics, and I'm so grateful to Barkly Manor for being such an amazing place for our dogs to spend the day.

Barkley Manor is fantastic! Everyone there is so kind and my pup loves it there! He always comes home exhausted. When I pull up with my dog, he absolutely loves it and can't wait to get out of the car.

I'm new to the concept of daycare for dogs, but I really wanted to raise my puppy socialized well to other dogs and new experiences. She absolutely loves Barkly Manor. When I get her out of my car, she pulls me to the entrance - she's so excited to be there and can't wait to start playing. I also like the location and flexibility in hours - I can drop her off early if needed and pick her up late. All the staff that I've encountered have been great too.

Both my dog and I love this place! They are always so welcoming and my dog gets so excited when he figures out where we are headed. They are laid back yet I feel confident leaving my dog in their care! I couldn't recommend a better local dog day care and grooming services with 303.

We LOVE Barkly Manor! I am an overprotective Dog-Mom to our 3 pups. We don't have human children & these dogs ARE our kiddos. If you don't understand that. well then you are missing out on puppy kisses and unconditional love. ANYway. I'm super picky about where our pups stay when we are out of town. For years I used a dog boarding company associated with our Vet Hospital but they shut down the boarding facility a couple of years ago, so when it was time for the humans to take a little trip I started asking our dog-loving friends for suggestions & one suggested Barkly. Long-story short, we had a visit & left the kids for just 2 nights.

They were having so much fun when we picked them up that they seemed a little bummed to get in the car. After more, and longer stays, we realized that what we thought was an OK stay at the Vet's old place must not have been all that grand, because they LOVE Barkly & are happy to say, "See Ya!" when we leave them & are only mildly happy to be picked up.

We are SO happy knowing that they're safe, well cared for AND are having a great good time too! Also, they do NOT smell when they come home, which anyone who knows dog boarding knows that means that kennels/runs/etc are cleaned properly and often. We LOVE YOU Barkly! My two dogs love this place. Yes it has had an oder from a dog having an accident but hey it is a doggie day care. Accidents happen. The staff is friendly and the hours work perfect for my hectic schedule.

I brought my dog here for the last 10 years. I just moved out of Denver to Virginia, and so sad to not have this place anymore. They are always very friendly and caring towards the dogs. My dog is very sensitive and picky about where she stays and will refuse to be left somewhere she doesn't want to. She would actually get excited to come here and I could tell she would miss it if when we went too long without bringing here. So sad to have to find a new place now.

My energetic husky mix absolutely loves this place. They are wonderful dog loving folks that provide excellent doggie day care! I need a place that will help socialize and exercise my pup and this place gets the job done. They also have great hours and open early which is convenient for those working in the medical field.

Our pooch loves this place and the staff is so friendly! The atmosphere is very laid-back, so if your pooch doesn't need all of the frills of a fancy boutique doggie daycare, Barkly Manor is for you. The prices are very reasonable, you do not need to make appointments in advance, and your dog will come home exhausted guaranteed. I am so happy we found this doggie daycare near our neighborhood.

Amazing staff who truly love dogs and care about their wards. We've been dropping off our puppy at Barkley Manor for the last 7 months and she is excited to go every time. She comes home tired and happy! I thoroughly trust their care and know that our pup is having a great, safe time!

Love this place! I have been meaning to write a review on them for literally a couple of years now. I took my previous dog to Barkly Manor and they were awesome with him. He was diagnosed with cancer and started to slowly decline, but the staff at Barkly still wanted to help take care of him. If I had to go out of town, they let him play while keeping a close eye on any breaks he needed.

When he passed away, the staff at Barkly were heartbroken with me. Now, I take my puppy to Barkly Manor and he LOVES it. The staff knows every dog who comes in the door & is happy to individualize care for them. They offer to go above and beyond by taking care of any special requests (such as feeding out of Kongs) and have even offered to stay late if you are stuck in traffic. I highly recommend the staff at Barkly Manor and their great care. Plus, they now have a sweet rewards program!

This is a great place. Great staff, they obviously love dogs and always give us info about how our dog does during her stay. Completely recommend it. We know she's well taken care of and is not afraid to be dropped off! Services like nails, baths, etc. also good.

I think the staff is wonderful and my pup loves it here. She is tired and happy when she comes home. It's not the most fragrant place but for God's sake! It's a dog daycare, not a perfumerie. Some of the comments on here are ridiculous in that regard.

The people who work here really care about animals, and about your pet! We have taken our dog there numerous times, and they have taken great care of her. She always leaves there happy, and more than a little tired! Barkly lets you bring your dog there for the 1st time at no charge, and they are happy to walk you through their facilities. On behalf of Barrett, thank you!

I have two JackRussell Terriers both under two years old and the staff at Barkly Manor are so incredibly patient and good with my little boys they always come home tired which says something for Jack Russells.
