Paradise Aquarium

Best aquarium period! Have been going there since I was 10, 55 now so customer for 45 years now and still am.

Three men behind and around the counter. Didn't bother to pick there heads up the TV show they were watching to acknowledge a customer. and after saying excuse me was I given a dismissive answer. Because of that I did not purchase the 2 Parkeets I wanted. ***Also I have a hard time believing a Parkeet cost $40.***

The store is long and narrow but you get super service and attention when you ask a question great small business

It was pretty cool going there, there was cray fish which was nice to see. They had hamsters and parrots there as well as equipment to take care of the fish and the other animals there. I recommend going there to get fish as well as equipment because of the low prices.

I like this shop because the fish are healthy, and they have a good selection of exotic reptiles and stuff like that. Sometimes I wish they got in more shipments of fish. But the stock is in good shape. The crew is fairly friends. This place adds to the neighborhood.

Helpful staff plenty of fish easy to find everything I need. Bought some White clouds and Mollies from here healthy and doing great.

Rude workers I was trying to get fish and he had head phones in. Kept giving attitude.

It's the only aquarium store in the area and it has a variety of selection, but the place reaallly needs to be cleaned! I didn't want to touch any of the products bc some of them were expired and others were covered in dust/webs. They also sell other pets which I don't think is a good idea, especially with a lot of the animals not having proper enclosures.

It's look like a little bit empty all the time, but after I won a fist in a parade we want an another one, this is the closest "pet store" in the area (actually only tank/aquarium pets lol). It was surprised busy and they very helpful and nic

I think given the times and the area this place is not too bad. Sometimes the selection is a little slim, but they seem to keep healthy fish. The ones we've bought from them were all in good condition, minus one betta that died of a mystery issue. The owner is a nice guy. Service is better when he is around. It's cool that they raise up the fry whenever their fish have them. Decent cichlids. Currently has good selection of healthy tetras.

Man this place is the actual worst. The animals are miserable. Fish tanks disgusting, half dead and dead fish everywhere. Literal children running the place that have no idea what anything is. I don't know why I keep trying to come here, the drive elsewhere is worth it. I came form coral glue today. The kid had no idea what I was talking about, tried to hand me epoxy three times and even tried to argue with me that epoxy is the only thing used to hold down coral. What a joke! I'm done.

This place is depressing. When I got there, the birds were in small cages behind glass, in a dark cabinet. (Some guy came while I was there and turned on the lights but why were the birds left in the dark in the first place?) The rodents were over crowded. The fish tanks where dirty and the water seemed skuzzy. The kid who helped me was rude. For example, my girlfriend commented to me that she could find something for a certain price and he cut her off saying, "no, you can't find this at that price." (We did) He didn't seem to want to be bothered with any of our questions and acted like helping us was distracting him from hanging out with the other guys in the store. Then he sold me XL pellets for guppies. Terrible terrible terrible experience.

Not the service we planned on. No intent to discriminate among the young workers, but no attempt to assist or ask if we needed assistance. Truly wished to have walked away with some product. Maybe next time! Seems to have great selections.

This pet shop is great and convenient prices are a little high regarding air pumps and fish tank equipment. If you need help try to get the owner Gary to help you, the young's kids working there have attitude and they act miserable. They don't want to do anything.

This is a terrible place, they do t care about the animals they have there, all the tanks are dirty, all the animals seems sick, a lot of dead fish there. People on their phones instead of paying attention to the animals.

These poor animals are being kept in inhuman conditions. The turtles especially. It's incredibly dirty and smelly. Their mice seem sick.

My niece was charged $ 18.00 for a small common goldfish, they had no idea what the common aquarium plant hornwort was, i think this place has changed hands and the new owners haven't a clue.

I give this place five stars because it is clean. their knowledgeable they know what fish could cope with one another the staff is very helpful.

The young boy sold me a dying shrimp and told me it was just pregnant. He asked me if I was fine with having a pregnant shrimp and I said yes. When I saw it I asked if its dying because its orange and he responded no, its just pregnant. I got home and it's already dead in the bag. If I added it to my tank it could of infected all of my other shrimp with anything it could of had. Don't trust anything this shop tells you.

Bought my first California king snake from them and it's super healthy and beautiful!

Its an Aquarium that has everything that my local Aquarium does not anymore. It has bulk rock, a great selection of freshwater fish, saltwater fish and the coral department is on point. I wish this place was closer to me since I find the quality of the fish selection second to none. I find it hard these days to find places that take fish seriously anymore and this place delivers, big time.

The owners are very friendly and I also got to purchase a huge tub of Tertamin flake food for like $11 because they buy it in bulk and sell it like that. Awesome. These guys have my business

Although the staff wasn't amazingly friendly to me, I really love this store. One of my favorite reasons is the reptiles. In the past, I've purchased bearded dragons from Petland and other local pet stores. But they would all die within the year of something. I bought my current little here about 3 years ago and he is absolutely gorgoues! He's healthy, growing more and more everyday, and his colors are vibrant. Will be buying another dragon soon from here!

They need to clean the tanks and the water it's a little too dirty but they have some good finds if your looking for fish. A lot of different animals in the back.

This place is awful, the fish tanks are full of dead fishes. I bought two guppies the other day and as soon as i put them in my tank i had ICK all over my other fish that I've had for almost a year. Now I'm left with no fish. Lets not even talk about the rude stuff, I've been there a couple of times and only once i had this young guy that was very nice but other than that! terrible! Will never go here again.

I don't understand why so may yelpers are complaining about not being able to get dog and cat food at an aquarium store. Based on the name alone, you should be able to tell this place specializes in fish and anything else they have is probably for neighborhood convenience. As an aquarium store they have everything you need. Very good selection of freshwater and interesting saltwater selection too.

Some decent frags and lots of rock and driftwood selection (though I can never bring myself to pay money for a piece of pleasant looking firewood). I will say that the yelper who wrote about parrot fever had me freaked enough that I didn't even venture into bird-land. I don't really doubt the story, it's a small store and they probably would be better served focusing on the aquatics.

Giving four stars because of the staff's pet care knowledge. For example, with some Petland Discounts stores, the staff can lazy and rude. That's not the case with Paradise Aquarium. Paradise Aquarium's staff will take the time to answer your questions. If you love reptiles, fish and other exotic animals, this place is good. I've never had a problem with them.
