Green Acres Small Animal Hospital

Thank you for taking care of my little love and light of my life, zayne. deciding when it was time for him to go was the most heartbreaking and hard decision i have ever had to make but i know in my heart he went in peace thanks to green acres. he was administered a sedative before having to be put down which eased his pain and mine. thank you for being there for zayne and for giving me pieces of him i will treasure for the rest of my life. you don't realize how sentimental a piece of hair is or their footprint or even seeing their name written in hearts for the last time until you lose them. thank you for giving zayne and i a safe place to say our goodbyes.

The new vet, Doctor Gerard, is incredible. Although she did have to give us bad news, her demeanor and caring nature was comforting. She was very thorough and gave us more than enough time to ask questions, and answered all over them with my dogs best interest in mind. I deeply appreciate the caring and thoughtfulness of Dr. Gerard and the rest of the staff. Also, the facility is clean and well maintained. Only negative of course is the extremely high prices of care which unfortunately is never going to change.

The reception staff, the vet techs and the veterinarians here are wonderful. They allowed me to stay with my cat the entire time(except for x rays and blood work) and that meant a lot to me. They explained what they found and their plan for treatment thoroughly. Everyone was so very nice and understanding. I would absolutely recommend Green Acres emergency. Explaining and answering questions and letting me stay with my pet was what I appreciate the most.

Although the outcome was not positive for my beloved dog. Everything was handled so well here. They took such good care of my pet and my family as well. The bedside manner with everyone was great. They were able to deliver news that was hard to hear in a way that was compassionate and empathetic. They took the time to speak with us at great length and never rushed us. Were available to speak with us anytime we had questions. And walked us through everything. It was more expensive than other places but worth it for the care provided. Thank you. Dr. Howard was fantastic.

I took my dog here for an emergency visit when I thought she broke her leg. The staff and vet that we saw were all very kind to me and my dog. We did wait awhile, but we showed up when the doctors were switching shifts. Our vet was very reasonable with diagnoses and calmed me down with her answer and recommendations. It turned out my dog's leg was not broken and we weren't pushed to do x-rays based on other diagnostics.

I've been to emergency vets (unfortunately) in the past who seemed to feed off of the desperation of an emergency situation and push every test and procedure available - which adds up quick. I didnt feel that way at Green Acres. I'm very careful with my dogs and who handles them and I felt comfortable and cared for here.

Been here 3x. Sure can be pricey.what emergency vet isn't, to be honest. But, going here to say goodbye to my 11yr old diluted calico, muffy, was a great decision. They don't use that horrible 1 shot. They are sympathetic and empathize with your pain. My kids and I were all able to say goodbye.extremely hard but, she was suffering (still decision isn't an easy one) they were extremely kind and received some of her fur and paw print. Miss her tremendously everyday(a week as of today 4/10) but thank you to all who work here.

We luckily had a small, non-worrisome injury, but needed to get my dog in right away. Popped into the emergency hospital and got it taken care of quickly (but behind two other visitors who were clearly in need of faster attention). Everyone we interacted with was friendly, positive, and calming. No one seemed annoyed with my second dog who was trying to give kisses and was clearly being annoying, so 5 stars for the utmost professionalism and clear love of their patients!

They clearly explained our options and broke down the prices for each situation, and didn't make me feel pressured to spend more. It actually seemed like they were pushing me towards spending less, but I wanted the peace of mind with a little extra testing.

I was so pleased with the treatment my dog received while there. He came in for an emergency visit by ended up staying 4 days bc he needed surgery. I felt like he was receiving the best care! The doctors made me feel like they were working with me on his treatment. They communicated well and often. I was encouraged to come and visit him before and after surgery. The entire staff made our entire experience a good one! I appreciated their compassion and communication during a scary time for my family.

We've been looking for a new vet and figured I'd try this place since it's closest to home. We weren't disappointed at all! Didn't have to wait 3 months for an appointment like other places. Quick check in. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes. The new building looks awesome. Excited that we chose this place!

Green Acres was amazing! Every staff member was caring, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. Our fur baby Shep had to stay three days in their care. They called us with updates, encouraged visits, and took our calls to answer questions all hours of the evening. We highly recommend their animal hospital to anyone in need. We will forever be grateful to them for giving us our puppy's life back to us. Shep adored each staff member. Thank you!
