Everyone here is very kind and helpful. We've been taking all our cats here for some time now and I've never had a bad experience. All the vets are fantastic and they really care about helping pets.

This is a very nice vet. Been going here for years. Friendly staff and well priced. Got a checkup appointment for my bird quickly. My bird was comfortable with the doctor. Unfortunately they no longer do avian(bird) surgeries or emergencies.

My pup just had a procedure there and I cannot thank Michelle enough. I was anxious and scared and she was instrumental in alleviating some of that for me. She was so kind and helpful and sweet and patient with my boy. I am so extremely thankful for her during this stressful experience. I can tell she is a genuinely good and caring person and I am beyond appreciative of everything she did for us. Thank you Michelle.

Human hospitals are just as big of a joke as animal hospitals, no concern for the humans or in this case, animals. It's all greed driven. The workers aren't the problem. They were very nice. The business itself is the issue. They gave our cat an antibiotic for a sinus issue and now she's thinning out and for some reason all our other cats are sick too, and not eating soft cat food which right before the visit they were eating and loved.

This happened right after we went there so it's pretty obvious what caused it. If our cat dies because of this, a lawsuit is coming. We will never go to a vet, and especially this one, again. Every time we go to a vet, nothing is solved. The only thing that disappeared was her sinus issue, but now other issues popped up, so basically it was a waste of time and money, risking our cat's life. And they had the audacity to suggest ANOTHER medication. We aren't going down that road.

I had a pet emergency, and Lancaster Small Animal Hospital was amazing and able to take my pet rat today. They were very nice and were extremely accommodating. Thank you so much for your help today!

Easy to get an appointment. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Everything is reasonably priced too.

Took my new cat here today for a routine check up and was very pleased with the entire experience. The staff is great (and friendly) and the rooms are clean and as welcoming as a vets office can be. The cost of the visit wasn't bad at all either. Poor dude was scared as cats tend to be but both the tech and vet were great with him, very gentle and understanding.

I brought up a concern I had regarding his health and they were diligent in getting it checked out and setting us up for treatment. Will definitely return with him in the future. Thank you all!

We brought my dog Scooby in to be put down, the technician came into the room and she said she was taking Scooby (my dog) into the back room to have an IV put in. She said it would take about 15 minutes and she would bring Scooby back to me, during that 15 minutes they had Scooby in the back myself and my 20 year old granddaughter heard loud talking and laughter, the whole 15 minutes.

What happened was, when she brought Scooby back and the doctor came in with a technician, he had two syringes told me the first one would make Scooby relax and lay down, the second one was the one to put him to sleep. He said he should be passed in 30 seconds-1 minute. I said okay go ahead. He gave Scooby the first shot that was supposed to relax him, Scooby did not relax and was howling he was pushing up on his front paws trying to get up.

Even though he wasn't totally relaxed the doctor gave him the second shot that would put him down, Scooby was still trying to get up, more that a minute went by and Scooby was still struggling, I asked the doctor what was going on, and he stated he did not know. He sent the technician out to get a second syringe and gave it to Scooby in the same IV. Scooby is still struggling for another two minutes.

I screamed do something he sends the technician out again to get the 3rd syringe. In the meantime he realized the IV was not put in correctly, so he put a new IV in his back leg and gave him the 3rd dose. Within a minute he still was struggling. They added another IV in the other front leg and that when they gave the last 2 doses to Scooby and then he passed away.

After the fifth shot Scooby was laying down and within a minute he passed away but in that last minute my dog Scooby was gasping for air, this took a total of 18 minutes. Not 30 seconds like I was told. Maybe if the technicians weren't joking and laughing they would've paid more attention to what they were doing and this wouldn't of happened. Lancaster Small Animal Hospital is a great place that I take my pit bull too every one in there is very polite kind and caring no one is rude or disrespectful or has attitudes sweetest caring people, everything is done in a timely manner and no rushing if your finances are tight the wonderful woman doctor will put what's most important for your pet visit that fits for you and if there's remaining things she will tell you how long you can wait. my dog is a very big baby and has anxiety and they treat him so well and do everything possible to make him comfortable. I recommend this vet more than 5 stars.

Great place and great people that actually care about your pets. I wouldn't trust my fur babies with anyone else!

Our puppy had surgery here through the rescue he came from. They were very nice, informative and helpful in making us feel comfortable at a place we've never been. If we ever had to leave our vets we'd feel happy here.

I can't say enough good things about this business. I have two small guinea pigs one of them was not feeling good I called nine veterinarians they were going to make me wait 3 weeks before I could get in to see them. I did some research and looked at all the reviews this veterinarian hospital came in high very high regards. They got me in 2 hours after I called.

They did not charge me extra and were super gentle super sweet. I could tell that these people from the receptionist to the veterinarian all have love for animals serious love. I will never take my animals to any place other than here. When Emmett past away they send a beautiful personally wrote sympathy card.

This place has nothing but the most amazing people who work here and best veterinarians EVER. They are all so caring and informative and will take such good care of your pet! If your pet is not feeling well they will go over all the options and give you a quote before they even do anything. If your not sure where to start they will tell you what they think is the best first option and if that doesn't work you can work down the list until they can find the problem and solution. Honestly would never take my pets current and future any where else.

Started going here when I rescued my pup from Buffalo Underdogs. We were going to go to a vet closer, but they do such an amazing job with my girl and make her feel so comfy!

10/10 would not recommend. Felt very rushed, just like another $$ and not like an actual pet owner concerned with their animal. The dr didn't even introduce himself, the tech gave me a hard time about previous records, the meds I was sent home with have nothing to do with what I brought my cat in for. They let my cat sit in her own feces the. entire visit.

Didn't offer to clean the carrier or her, so I did it while we waited. $300 for them to call me and tell me things I already knew, when I asked about hairball meds, "theres no notes from the doctor about that but you could make another appointment". They could all benefit from Some training. UPDATE- my cat has bad teeth and I asked Dr Diaz about a dental and he told me she was no where near ready and her teeth look okay. TELL ME WHY IM SITTING AT THE EMERGENCY VET BECAUSE SHE HAS AN ABCESS?

It's amazing to me honestly. and when I called to ask them what I could do or if she could be seen, Maria let me know that I'm not welcome back to the hospital because of all my "poor reviews"

Very nice staff, were great with my pup when he went in to get neutered. He loved all the girls there

When they say that they see exotics and small animals they really don't. Also they send out for their meds since apparently they cant calculate and it costs more than it would if you'd gone to a proper vet. Also not that sincere. i had a horrible experience. My poor baby passed away today and she was more active when we brought her in. I should not have been told they take hamsters if nobody was actually educated in doing so.

Dr. Diaz is incredible! I can't imagine trusting the care of our animals to anyone else. The techs in the office are also extremely thorough, compassionate and pleasant. We had a great visit today.

These lovely ladies took extra special care of our rescue dog when she came to them in rough shape through the wonderful Buffalo Underdogs Rescue team. We were planning on transferring her over to our regular (closer) vet, but can't bear to leave these kind people. We will gladly make the drive to Lancaster to continue the great care she gets from them!
