A friend referred me to LegUp about 5 years ago when we needed someone to watch our two cats while we went out of town and couldn't get our usual in-law sitter service : I was hesitant at first because it was short notice and a new person - but after meeting the owner, we were all pretty confident they would be in good hands. And they were! I got the impression that they really like your pets at LegUp. That's important. We've been using them ever since!

I enjoy working with LegUp & really trust them with care of my pets. They're attentive, accommodating, reliable & really care about dogs (& cats too!). LegUp is great for regular walking schedules & vacation or short-term care too. Getting regular text updates & photos are appreciated especially when away. My dear pets are in good hands with LegUp.

We have been using LegUp for a LOOOONG time--15 years? I've lost track. Our three consecutive dogs have enjoyed both walking and boarding services with them. And they are always flexible, happily accommodating our last-minute changes when we need to book or cancel. They've had a key to our home for that entire time, and Toby, the owner, is personable and helpful. We love LegUp!

I'm surprised this is the first yelp review! LegUp has been a lifesaver. Our dog Taffy goes to playgroup at Leg Up 2 (sometimes 3) times a week when I have very long work days. I get home too late to pick her up from other doggie day cares, but I don't have to worry about that with Leg-Up, because the service picks her up and drops her back off at home. Toby, the owner of LegUp, brings the dogs (I think there's a morning and afternoon session) to a private dog park in Greenbrae.

And Taffy is so happy! She has started waiting and whining by the door when she thinks Toby is on his way. The socialization is great for her. She loves dogs and going to LegUp has made her comfortable with pretty much every dog she meets. She has even almost started fetching, after playing with the retrievers in her playgroup. Toby is really accommodating and LegUp is more than reasonable.

About four hours of playtime (and transportation) costs less than the going-rate for a half hour to an hour long private walk. I also have had my schedule change at the last minute and Toby has been able to add Taffy to the group for an extra day during the week with less than a day's notice.
