Precious Paws and Claws is a family owned and operated pet crematory dedicated to preserving your pets memories. We specialize in private cremations. We only take a limited number of pets each day to insure that each family receives their pet's cremains back in a timely and secure way. We strive to return your pet within 3 to 5 days, we do have next day service available on a limited basis. We do not feel it is right to have to wait weeks for closure. We are located in the country, minutes from Sacramento, Roseville and Rocklin.

Precious Paws and Claws specializes in private cremation services, which means each pet is cremated individually. We strive to return your pet's cremains within 3 to 5 days for proper closure. Next day service is available on a limited basis. All of our equipment is the best available and very environmental friendly.
Your pets a cherished companion and as much a part of your family as any other member. A beautifully crafted memorial pet urn is a wonderful tribute to the life that touched yours so deeply. Each urn is custom matted to your pet and an engraved name plate has your pet's name, memory and birthdate and date of death.
Many companies return your cremains in a simple wood, plastic, or tin container, or even a zip lock bag. We provide a beautifully crafted wood urn with an engraved brass name plate. The urn is wonderful tribute to the life that touched yours so deeply. We have other urns to choose from at an additional fee, each urn can be opened at a later date should you decide to scatter your pets cremains over the grounds they loved to play at. It is a gift from our family to your family at no extra charge. The only true way to know is to witness the cremation.

Picked up my small dog after a grooming service on a Saturday, he was shaking and would hide under the bed or in the closet for a week, he was not even able to jump on a bed or a sofa as he always did. Called the place the next day to see if they knew something had happened to my dog, the receptionist said, "no but if you see your dog is not feeling okay, take him to a Vet".
I Called the manager, she said she can't think of anything that had happened but will check the camera and call back in few minutes, she never did. Poor service and seems that the dogs are being abused at this place. They lost a customer who owns 3 dogs.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Very bothered by this pet salon. My puppy came home with cuts. The employees notified me that they were going to close early today and possibly rushed to cut my puppy's hair. They never told me about the injuries that were caused. Very Unacceptable and I hope you look for another place before taking your animal there.

They treat animals horribly. They are unsympathetic and unapologetic. For a pet salon, they don't know much about animals, like keeping certain breeds cooled and hydrated. Their environment is dirty as animals leave with new fleas and tics. This is a salon, keep it clean and professional. This place needs to be BETTER or not work in this kind of service at all. Save your money and go somewhere else where people will care for your animals and treat you and your pets with respect.

Jennifer was friendly, able to answer all my questions over the phone, and even squeeze both of my mom's terriers in on an early Saturday morning. I was a bit nervous as my mom's dogs had not been to a groomer in quite a while but the girls came out looking and feeling great! (I do recommend giving your dog a calming treat to help with anxiety). I will make sure to bring them back on a monthly basis to maintain their great work. Prices are competitive so be sure to leave a generous tip!
