I loved this store. I was just passing through w my pup and stopped to get her some treats. The owner was there w his pup. And he was so helpful. Even gave us some free samples. Such a cute local spot for the fur babies.

Love this store! The team is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. George was very helpful with the best diet choices for my diabetic cat, Hobo. Always a friendly greeting and fun treats and toys for our pets.

Dog Dog Cat is one of our favorite places to visit in Tahoe. While we don't come here for Cat shopping, we do come here to shop for our Doggo. They have an enormous selection of Dog treats, food, harnesses, gear, and shoes and that's just what they have for the animals! Humans have a great selection to choose from as well in regards to decor, socks and more. They are pet friendly too, so bring in your furry friends!

This Place is small but very Big Hearted. They seem to have all the Good stuff that your Furry friend would need. They were very eager to answer any questions without being pushy. I needed some Hip medicine for my dog she knew and recommended some that did the job very nicely also the price was more then fair. Highly recommend them if you are ever in the area and want some non traditional well made furry friend stuff, stop by and see them.

This is a great store with incredibly helpful staff. If your looking for healthful good for your doggone, look no further. They also have more supplies than you'll ever need, and a great selection of toys and chews. Also, cat stuff. but I'm not a cat guy so I can't rate for that.

Loved this place. We accidentally walked by and saw a sale rack outside. Causally looking we found the cutest vest for my pup. And it was on sale! We decided to walk inside the store to check out what else they had and was very impressed with treat and clothing options. Most importantly what prompted me to write this review is the 5 star customer service experience we received. They were kind patient and informative. We don't live in the area but we will order their products via online. Love this store!

This might be the best pet store (Dogs/Cats) in Northern California/Nevada! It's nicely located in the Raley's shopping center next to Heavenly Village. Just a ton of cool stuff for your pet, with a large selection of quality clothing, sweaters/jackets and costumes. Each choice comes in 6 to 8 sizes, so you don't run into the same problem that we always do with your dog being inbetween the only 3 standard sizes that most stores carry.

They also have tons of specialty/novelty items, collars/leashes, decorations, toys, treats, well-being products, etc. Plenty of nice shirts, socks and hats for the humans to show their love too, with everything being high quality. An outstanding healthy food selection and a knowledgeable staff to help make sure you get the right one for your dog or cat. Definitely a great place to get gifts for any pet owner you know!

Remember as a child when you walked into KB Toys, Toys-R-Us, or FAO-something, and you were just smiling and excited. Well walking your fury child into this store that's exactly what they feel! Love this place!

My senior chihuahua Lilo was obsessed with this store! And the staff was sooooo helpful and friendly helping me find everything I needed. I mostly just let Lilo walk around and bought whatever she touched (mostly treats of course!). It was adorable. She was so excited about the smells and sights, all clearly for her, not a human store (although there are a lot of pet-related human things - I bought a key chain that says "Less People, More Dogs" lol).

She was overwhelmed with the amount of treats I let her pick out. We got all sorts of yummy meat stick/jerky type of treats, some hip & joint treats, new flavors of her favorite training treats, and picked out five things out of the bakery selection (including one that said spoiled lol). Lilo and I will def make a stop here again on our next trip to Tahoe!

My sister lives locally and recommended Dog Dog Cat. The selection there is a amazing and the staff is exceptionally friendly. They have a lot of unique and high quality dog items. We found a collar that we love and looks great on our dog. We accidentally bought the wrong size and they were so helpful and nice to get us the correct size. Will definitely come again next time I'm in town.

Staff is so helpful in choosing foods, treats & halters. Such a wide array of chew proteins, our picky dog found some extra special chews to enjoy for later. They are stocked with the best quality everything, we were impressed!

If you have pets, this is the only store you'll ever need to go to again. It looks tiny but they have everything! Best treats, coats, toys. But the best thing about the store is the salespeople. It has been years since I encountered such friendly, helpful sales staff who clearly love animals and enjoy their jobs. We've been in Tahoe 4 days and been to the store 4 times now.

They literally fitted my Great Dane with boots and a jacket. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this store and the staff. Whoever the owner is, they've clearly created an excellent work culture and it shows.

Really helpful. We bought all weather booties. Our dogs feet get so hot on the pavement and docks. They helped us find the perfect fit. He pranced like a horse til he got used to them. He doesn't try to take them off. He knows they help him.

So happy with the dog coat I found here. They have a good selection of toys, collars, and leashes. And a variety of treats. I seem to always find something when I stop in.

This shop has a great selection of everything I need for my two spoiled cats. I come here whenever we're in town. Their service is always friendly, professional and quick. I would recommend for sure.

I liked it, they had a wide range of outfits and dog/cat accessories. I prefer stores with a higher emphasis on more eco-friendly products and such, but they had a good overall selection of many products. The main reason for the star dock is I heard some not so accurate advice being given by one of the employees. It was in regard to bone/antler treats, which they had a wide selection of.

She was saying that if you start your dog on them at a young age they will get used to them and it won't be hard on their teeth and to just not to give them to older dogs. Dogs teeth are much like our own and bone treats are not ideal for them unless you want a dog with a cracked canine and a hefty vet bill. Their teeth don't get stronger from use, that was an odd thing for her to say.

It may be a personal preference, but from my experience in working at a vet clinic and the multiple pets we saw with cracked/chipped teeth because of their bone treats was unfortunate.

I've been a loyal customer of this adorable family owned business. My dogs get so excited coming here. The treats, food, knowledge and customer service is excellent. It was a nice store for pet supplies, they have a very nice selection of toys, outfits, and other random paraphernalia. I would have liked to see more items based on sustainability though, especially in Eco-Friendly tahoe. They have some fun small batch treats and cookies, I would definitely come here again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I came in with my friend looking for some dog treats for dog on their ride home. This shop is small but there is a lot in here! Dog food, unique dog treats, cute clothing, many leashes and collars to fit your dogs personality, and tough chew toys. Prices are a little higher but the quality of everything is a little better than most shops too so makes sense.

The employee working that weekend was very friendly and helped us choose and look through dog treats like turkey trachea, pig snout, and your regular old biscuits. Her dog got a few free treats to help see what she would like and we left with quite a few treats for less than $20. This isn't normally my first stop for dog supplies but it definitely has what you would need with a little something extra.

This place is so popular. Everyone we stop in it is packed with people! This is a pet owners haven. They have everything you need, want and didn't think existed! The outfits are ridiculously cute! They have a large selection of collars and leashes, including some local crafted items. A bakery display of fresh pet friendly edible treats. Toys, bowls, gift items, refrigerated, canned and dry food. And so much more. The staff is so friendly! I love small local businesses with employees that clearly love their job! If you own a pet, this is a must stop while in Tahoe!
