Best Boarding place ever. Used Eden quite a few times over the past 5 years and recently moved out of the area. Still bring our babies even though it's over an hour away. Wouldn't take our dogs anywhere else

I have my Molly stay here whenever I have to go out of town. My dog lives this kennel. The kennel serves high quality food and makes sure the dogs get outside 3 times a day! I love this place.

I have used Eden to kennel my dogs for the last 8 years. My dogs run to the door to go inside. They are happy to see Ivy and the other dogs. The facilty is always clean and the kennels are large enough to hold both dogs comfortably. Ivy is very accomodating and I am comfortable leaving my boys under her care. There are secure outdoor areas for them, and a little sitting room inside the kennel area. I highly recommend them.

This is where we leave our dog when we go on vacation. There is something very comforting about leaving your pet at a place out in the country (as opposed to a place in a strip mall). Don't let the Leesburg address fool you, this place is way out there (we take 19 out past Eustis). Overall we haven't had any issues, and you would be hard pressed to find a better price anywhere. The owner clearly loves dogs. Best of all, they do not require your dog to be fixed for you to leave him here. Great place.

We have been going to Eden Pet Center for about 10 or 11 years (even before Ivey owned the business). Ivey and her groomer Carol have always been wonderful to my dog. My dog goes and leaves very cheerfully. Can't say enough good things about Eden Pet Center. We affectionately call it "Camp" to our dog- she gets very excited every-time we pull in the driveway. I have recommended Eden Pet Center to my friends and they have all been happy with their experience.

We have been boarding our 3 pups at Eden Pet Center for at least the past 6 years and have been very pleased with the results. Our pups come home happy and healthy. They receive what we consider the best of care and we have never had any post boarding issues with our dogs. The facility is clean and well maintained. We have also utilized the grooming facility on several occasions and have been very satisfied as well. We will continue to use Eden Pet Center whenever needed with no concerns for the welfare of our dogs. thank you.

I have used Eden Pet Center for about 6 years now and have always had a great experience. My "kids" love going there too. If I even mention "Miss Ivy" they go nuts and start running to the door like lets go lets go. Kinda made me a bit jealous. I have kept them there for over a week at times of vacation and they have never developed any kind of illness from their stay and always seem happy and content when I pick them up.

I just had my dog Mike groomed here. He is a 15 year old Chow/Lab mix with the chow hair. I had not been able to cut his fur for a while and he just would let me brush him at all. he was very matted. I hung out with him because he has never been groomed by anyone but me and he is a mamas boy. Carole the groomer was soo nice and patient with him and he looks wonderful. there were a couple other dogs there that day too. she really loves her clients. (the dogs) and tries to make their stay with her as pleasant for them as she can. i saw a great rapport between her and the animals. i would take him there again if needed.

I had to into the main building to use the restroom and the boarding animals were all housed indoors in large chain link pens that were clean. i could smell any urine or other bad smells. it was cool inside so they were comfortable in the FL heat. i had seen dogs running out in the play yard all day. there is a 'fire hydrant' back there to which i thought was cute. the woman who was tending the dogs was very nice. i would board Mike there if needed.

This was a wretched facility and I will *NEVER* board my dogs there again. I tried Eden Pet Center for the first time last month with my two small dogs. When I arrived, the outside facilities looked beautiful. However, as I came inside I noticed that all of the animals were being boarded in what appeared to be crates. I was still optimistic and was "okay" with this.

It was only when I picked up my dogs after a four-day stay that the owners told me that they kept urinating in their crate (they are very well house trained and this only happens if they do not have sufficient opportunity to go to the bathroom outside). I was also told that they were barking the whole time (again one is the silent curl up in a ball type, and the other only barks if she is kept confined for very long periods of time); and further that my dogs (quoting the owners) "needed military school." Reading this, you don't know me or my pets. But, they are very well behaved small dogs who are highly affectionate and love to run outside or curl up in balls ad sleep for extended periods of time. Previously, other businesses that I have boarded my dogs with normally remark on how well behaved and loving they are.

It gets worse, though. Alot worse! I could deal with the above without posting this review. But, when I got home one of my dogs developed a very bad respiratory infection (kennel cough) which the veterinarian explained to me was due to the boarding and that she was probably exposed to high levels of ammonia from urine. I did not prompt or suggest any of this - he just asked if she had been boarded and I told him yes; and then he proceeded to explain the most likely cause and that I should probably *never* board there again for the safety and well being of my pets. Therefore, I am sharing this with the public because I do not want to see anyone else's pets suffer because of this business.

I've used Eden in the past and was very happy with them. I called last month and reserved their same run for 10 days starting 10/19/12. My daughter has a brain tumor and we are scheduled to go to VA to see a neurosurgeon who specializes in her condition. The lady at Eden remembered us and was very accommodating, making sure our dogs had the same run/kennel.

I tried to call earlier in the week just to confirm, no answer. Tried again yesterday, again, no answer. Today I called and was determined to hang on till someone answered. Lo and behold, after about 2 min. of ringing, a recording comes on saying "oh, we're on a little vacation until Oct. 22nd, we'll be open again then".WHAT? I about had a stroke, I have Drs in VA waiting on us Monday morning and EDEN PET CENTER is on vacation? OMG.needless to say.we had to scramble to find a kennel that could take our dogs at the last minute for the 10 days.not an easy feat to get done same day AND it's costing us an extra $200 now to board the dogs somewhere else on such short notice.

My daughter did all her own fund raising (she doesn't have insurance) to raise the money to go to these Drs and now part of her fund raising is going to an extra $200 that should not have to be spent except for EDENs total disregard for their commitment. BUT after reading the last review, maybe it's blessing in disguise protecting our pets from some horrible care.

All I can say is. I will never use them again either and word of mouth is the best advertisement and so far, about 10 vets and other boarding facilities in the area know what they did to us. I plan to make it a lot more.actually everyone I can tell this to, I will. Hope it crunches their business for the last minute stress they caused us!
