Fisher's Friends Dog Day Care

They always have the dogs' best interest in mind. On my dog's first day back after being away for a few months, they arranged to put her in a group with a smaller number of dogs to help her readjust more comfortably. Scheduling, drop off, pick up, and doggie happiness are 100% smooth and flawless. This business is run so well. Best dog daycare I've ever found in any city.

I started going back to Fisher and Friends again recently. I used to take my pack of three there when Fisher the black Labrador used to be there to interview new dogs. It was a woman owned business back than and still is. Some things are still the same and somethings aren't. Fisher has crossed the "rainbow bridge" as they say and so have all three of my pack.

The last one just last year. But I have another one who got caught in the covid isolation and lack of socialization and it was time to get her out to live her best life. Back in the day when you wanted to take your dog there you took them for an interview essentially. Fisher would spend time with your dog and they could judge your dogs temperament and see if your dog was going to get along with other dogs or had behavioral issues.

They still do that and have even improved on the process by having an on line form that allows you to document all your dogs shots as well as any health issues or any issues they might need to know about your dog. When you schedule the interview, you go over the whole form as well as going over all the house rules. For example maintaining six foot distances from each parent coming or going from the lobby. Keeping your dog outside the door till a dog of a different size who may be in the lobby leaves to prevent any possible large dog small dog issues for example.

Then they take your dog to see how their temperament is with other dogs. Just as they did before, they check to see if your dog is social or has some issues that may not make it possible for your dog go there. After that if your dog is accepted, you schedule your dogs days at Fisher. They also have an in house groomer so you can have your dog washed and groomed while it's there.

The staff has always had a consistently friendly attitude and knows your dog by name and greets them enthusiastically and encouragingly. Which is very helpful for a shy dog to help them adjust. What I would love to see at Fisher to make them more current would be on line live video feed. It's always such fun to see your dog playing with their favorite dog friends or playing in the pool in the hot summer days.

Jen did an awesome job grooming Aspen. She's the best. He always looks so handsome with his bandana on post groom.

After trying a few other daycare's I got referred to Fisher's Friends and I am very happy. It is a clean and safe environment. The staff is friendly and helpful, and most importantly my dog loves it there.

Fisher's does a great job grooming my cocker spaniel! I took him to all of the chain stores and he always seems upset when I picked him up and the haircut was awful. When I pick him up from Fisher's he is his usual happy self and looks perfect!

My husband and I love Fisher's Friends. We take our Australian Shepherd Blue Heeler mix there for daycare and she loves it! They are kind and attentive to all the pups. Excellent staff, safe environment

We've taken our dog Gunner to Fisher's Friends for daycare, shampoo, nail clipping and have always had a great experience.

Tyson loves going to daycare, he runs to the door and LOVES the staff. Tyson goes daily and I am happy to know I am leaving him in good hands. The staff always lets me know how hes doing and they always show him so much love. He was in a bad situation before he was adopted and they make him feel right at home. Tyson and I love Fisher Friends!

The ladies that own this place are very professional. By far the best doggy day care I've found in Buffalo. My dog is always super excited to visit and exhausted when he comes back, so I know he has a great time. No negative experiences, which is more than I can say for a few other places I've tried around here. They did a great job with his grooming too! Thanks ladies!

Our dog has been going there for years. We love it and so does she! Staff is friendly and accommodating and great with dogs. Our grooming has been fine.

Fisher 's Friends was recommended to us a by a co-worker and we absolutely love taking our 5 month old cavapoo Winnie. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to us. Alway give us an update on her day when we pick up. Winnie barely makes it out of the parking lot awake which is an added bonus. The only issue we have is the hours, my wife and I work early days and the 7:30 open time doesn't work for us in the school months. Will be back for sure come breaks and summer months.

Some of the staff has no business working there cause they have attitudes and dont want active dogs there that might actually make them work. The property is too small and the dogs are cooped up in little rooms but they dont expect the excited fun pups to play with eachother too much so they frown upon this and act like doggy daycare shouldnt consist of this.

There are too many great places in the area to waste your time and money but more importantly deprive your dog of a fun loving second home. I highly recommend Fetch & Catch and Amherst Kennels. Both very professional and treat your animals as there own. The properties themselves are so much more equipped for dogs to actually have room to run and play with eachother so when you pick your buddy up at the end of the day theyre actually tired out instead of having anxiety from being locked in a room.

This is probably my favorite daycare to date, friendly staff also professional. My pup comes back sleepy after a long day of playing with his friends. Great facility and super clean. Really appreciate everyone being friendly.

I have been taking my dog here for years, she is an older dog and had a hard time staying home alone and she loves it there. When I get ready to walk out the door every morning she's waiting at the door ready to go, runs right in so excited!

My Husband and I are very pleased with the Daycare. Our pup Mila loves it. She cannot wait to go and play. The staff is very friendly and caring. They are very easy to work with!

This is a wonderful business that has the nicest, most sincere staff that clearly has a passion for dogs! I just attended their Barks & Beer event, which was well organized and fun for the community, pets & pet owners. Best of all it supported a local pet rescue. Such a great business! I love this place!

I own a pet sitting and dog walking company called Laura's Critter Care. I had one of my dogs groomed by Jen. She was awesome. She had already reserved a time for me based on an exchanged email. I was able to get chilli my dog in quick and she did a wonderful job on him. We also have a nice working relationship where Fisher's Friends refers people to me that need services that they do not provide such as in home pet sitting, pet taxi service, overnight pet sitting, pet sitting for reptiles, avian and exotics. I recommend Jen for your grooming needs.
