A Walk in the Park Pet Care is dedicated to providing experienced care for your true companion. Your sitter is a former Board Member and active volunteer of Illinois Doberman Rescue Plus. Your sitter has worked and lived with all ages of companions from puppies to seniors as well as a variety of medical conditions and behaviors. Experienced in administration of medications and able to provide general healthcare support for conditions such as diabetes, Cushing's, cardiac concerns, seizures and orthopedic issues.

Canceling does not allow professional sitters an income for the day nor does it lead to positive reviews or word of mouth.

Lara is the best! She not only takes great care of our dogs year round, but we just had her take care of them while we were on vacation and couldn't have been happier. We forgot to leave one of the dog's special food that he needs for a medical issue and she tracked it down and picked it up for him. He never even missed a meal! She is always completely reliable and goes the extra mile for the animals she cares for. She cares for a few other pets in our neighborhood as well and everyone loves her.

Count yourself lucky if you can Lara to care for your pet! She goes above and beyond for our dog and our family on a regular basis. She is flexible and reliable and is extremely knowledgeable about dogs. Her advice alone has saved us from multiple vet visits. We have a crazy family schedule and I love knowing that my dog is well cared for and she even noticed a water leak before we did! Our dog loves her as much we do!

Lara has saved me several times! I've had emergency vet visits where she was able to transport my dog on very short notice. Even though I didn't ask, she has provided food samples when a senior dog wouldn't eat, knows all the vets in the area and is very knowledgeable. She has also done overnight stays at my house when I traveled for business where my animals are pampered beyond belief! I've known her and used the service for many years, and she ALWAYS comes through, going above and beyond the call!

Lara is amazingly attentive and very caring. I never thought I would find a sitter who cares for my dogs as much as we do - but I did! Lara has helped our family through many last minute crisis and vacations are possible now because we can go away knowing our home and very spoiled fur-babies are well taken care of. Very highly recommend her services - don't waste your time, go with the best.

My wife and I have two dogs. One is a rescue and we have had trouble finding dog walkers that would work with him. Lara embraced both of our dogs instantly and has taken wonderful care of them. In addition to regular walks, she also provides us with valuable insights on how they are doing during the day as well as suggestions to help them cope with their anxiety. We could not be happier with her service!
