Kanosak offers a variety of group classes and private lessons from Puppy Kindergarten, to Beginning Obedience, to Attention & Handling, CGC, Rally and Agility. Select that class that meets your needs. Conveniently located in suburban Maple Park, near the East-West tollway, Kanosak is easily reached from St. Charles, Geneva, DeKalb and Sycamore. Our instructors have already been there, holding Rally, Utility, Conformation, OTCH and MACH titles. Let us help you prepare for Rally, Obedience, Agility or Conformation.

Kanosak Canine Training is a complete dog training facility for all breeds and mixes. We offer classes at all levels of obedience, household manners, agility, rally, and conformation. Kanosak is not a "one size fits all" facility. We realize that dogs and handlers come in many sizes and shapes with different temperaments and personalities.

We at Kanosak Kennels are proud of our Alaskan Heritage, and we try to keep that in mind not only with our kennel name (Kanosak means "GOLD" in Eskimo), but also with our breeding goals. Echo is a wonderful example of a multi-faceted Golden Retriever. She is a happy girl who is willing to do anything you ask of her. She wants nothing other than to do everything you want her to do, as long as she is with you. Her tail never stops wagging! She loves people and is fantastic with children.

First time taking our dog for professional training. (Man do I wish I did this years ago) I had always feared being "shamed" in class, or end up as the example of what NOT to do when training your dog, but Ellen & Dot are simply fantastic. We saw results after the very first lesson & after a couple of classes our dog walks on a leash without pulling. (Worth every penny alone) They give specific instructions, are very encouraging and have a great attitude. Highly recommend if your dog needs a bit of help. (Ours was 4.5 yrs old when we started beginning obedience for non-puppies.)
