Hoffman-Haus Pet Resort

I have three dogs currently. Two German Shepherds and a stubborn as heck Husky. I wasn't in a position to have the GS trained as puppies so they are both two years old. I reached out to Hoffman Haus about training the two of them because it got to the point where I couldn't handle my 100 lb boy . They were both bullheaded and my female has extreme separation anxiety.

I took Draco first, he went in to training a stubborn wildcard and came out a well behaved stud. Sadie went in a untamed wild child and came out a still crazy but behaved wild child. Jim was extremely honest about how it was a team effort with me him and the dogs to get our desired result. It is not a cure all, as the owner I had to change my behaviors as well to make sure I was doing what's best for my dogs.

The training program does not take away their personalities (Sadie is just a wild child in her DNA ) but it does give them commands they can easily follow. I was able to shoot him a text when I wanted to check in and got regular videos of their progress. He is flexible with payment and does not require the whole amount up front like I was seeing with other trainers.

My dogs are so much better behaved since bringing them home. Sadie no longer pulls me around on the leash and Draco will now stay when my 2 year old is around to prevent any accidents due to his size. I know he will work his magic on my Husky as well when it's his turn. I highly recommend this place. He knows his stuff.

Have been going to Hoffman's for a little over a year now & refuse to take Bear anywhere else! They groom him well & did an amazing job training him. We did the 30 day board & train & Bear was automatically sooo much better! Jim showed me how to work with him at home as well as how to correct him effectively. Training Bear was a lot harder (for me) than I thought so I'm glad I chose Jim! Hoffman's has a clean lodging/daycare environment as well as friendly staff. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

FREAKING LOVE THIS PLACE! This place is good sent for me and my girl Sasha. The staff is amazing and they love my rottie. I'm a single mama to a 120 lb Rottweiler and I work a lot. I was so hesitant to try boarding and daycare however this place has made it super easy and gives me a peace of mind knowing that my dog will be ok and well taken care of. Thank you guys for the kindness you've shown Sasha Girl and I!

When I found Jim at Hoffman House I was very frustrated and confused. My nine month old German Shepherd and I had picked up some bad habits in early training. She was very reactive to other dogs, pulling on the leash, and not responding with engagement. Because of Jim we are both doing so much better! During Jim's "Boot Camp" I learned to simplify my commands and to correct quickly and kindly, always supporting the success of the dog.

On the last day of Boot Camp my puppy healed off leash. I was so happy I almost cried! Training with Jim is a lot of fun! Now that Boot Camp is over I've set a goal to earn my Rally Obedience Novice title. Rally is like an obstacle course for obedience. AKC has a virtual program so I don't have to travel to participate. There is no Rally in this area so for right now, I am a party of one. Rally is fun so I hope more people will eventually want to participate. Just for fun or for competition. I look forward to continuing to work with Jim as I develop my relationship with my dog.

Excellent service and quality of work. We love taking our fur baby to get groomed here. He is always so handsome and smells great! Photos are of two different lengths of cuts.

Hoffman Haus does a terrific job with Murphy! He's always super excited to go there for daycare and boarding. The staff is always friendly and I love the outside area for him to run and play!

Shout out to Jim! I truly didn't understand what a well behaved dog was until my Onyx took his 30 boarded training program. Jim even helped me transition Onyx to regular eating Habits which is something Onyx had always had an issue with. It was the best thing for my pup and the best thing for me. He has come back home a completely trained dog and I am very pleased!

If you are having issues with your dog constantly pulling the leash, or just being plain stubborn lol. I highly recommend you get your pup to Jim and his team. They really care for our furry friends

I will never go anywhere else other than Hoffman Haus as long as I'm living in the area! They have taken care of my high energy dog Ollie the last two years and now my shy and sweet dog Allie! They cater beautifully to both of my dog's very different personalities! All the staff is always so personable and know who I'm there to drop off and pick up every time - giving me reassurance they really do interact and pay great attention to my dogs while they are there. I have ZERO bad things to say about Hoffman Haus, you guys are amazing!

Jim and Ann have helped us out tremendously with our dog. They have so much experience and knowledge with training and taking care of dogs. They are great people with so much knowledge on how to get your dog to be a well behaved pet that you can be proud of.
