We provide fully trained personal protection dogs, advanced obedience and entry level service dogs. Trained by civilian, law enforcement and military personnel to meet the exact specifications required. No point will be awarded and competition/awards will be prohibited. The certification will be based on the ability to perform the tasks set forth by the procedures adopted by Bullock's K-9 Training.

Bullock's K-9 is committed to training K-9's and their handlers, officers and owners. We place great emphasis on meeting the special needs of Departments and or Agencies, such as dual purpose patrol K-9's, explosive detection and narcotics detection training. Our police dogs are trained to pass the American Working Dog Association standards unless other standards are required (e.g., NAPWDA, NNDDA, USPCA). The K-9's will be trained to perform advanced aggression, have on and off leash obedience, and perform whatever individual standards are required.
Mike began working dogs as a young boy with his grandfather, competing in field trials and other hunting and tracking trials. Mike went on to join the US Air Force in 1984 continuing his passion for training knowledge at March Air Force Base. Spring of 1989 Bullocks K9 was established. Not long after Mike Bullocks' name was known by many state courts and attorneys as a leader in court testimony in the areas of canine training and tactics.
Perhaps the most important Security Consulting Services offered by Bullock's K9 over and above our expertly trained personal protection dogs, is our security consulting and analysis. This is a service we highly recommend for all of our clients that want to purchase a personal protection dog. After our initial discussion, our experts travel to the customer's home to perform a physical assessment of the client's individual security risk situation. We offer various recommendations on various physical security measures and assist you in identifying risks at your home or business location.

I wish I did a better job researching information about Mike Bullock of Bullock's K9 and his reputation and the comments heard as to why local Law Enforcement agencies weren't getting their dogs from Bullock's K9. Also as to why he lost a Law Suit brought against him. I heard comments that he was sued for slander which would explain his untruthful response to this review.
I purchased a male German Shepherd from Mike to be our personal dog and for occasional breeding. Mike assured me he took the dog to his veteranarian and it was healthy and ready to breed. I asked him if it would be okay to breed him while we are waiting for its pedigree papers and he said yes no problem. After breeding with our female and after placing the puppies we noticed the male began to wobble when walking. Took it to our veterinarian and discovered the dog had Degenerative Myelopathy.
We would never have accepted or bred the dog knowing it wasn't healthy. We believe Mike knew something was wrong with the dog before selling it to us. We contacted those who purchased the puppies and offered to replace it with another healthy puppy from an upcoming litter at no cost to them. After confronting Mike about this issue and asking for a refund he instead wanted to replace the dog which I refused.
He gave the refund with a check that Bounced due to INSUFFICIENT FUNDS twice. I have saved all of the text messages from Mike regarding this matter which reveal him being less than honest about the condition of the dog and paperwork for the dog. We found him to be very dishonest and seemingly desperate for money.

I took my 5 year old German Shepard to Bullocks due to her having fear, severe separation anxiety and big problems with people getting near me. Not only were they able to correct her issues beautifully but they trained me as well on how to continue the training at home and not allow her or myself to slip back into bad habits. I now have a much calmer happy puppy that will even let strangers pet her and shake my hand. I couldn't be more happy with the work they do and highly recommend them for anyone struggling with training your pooch.

I would highly recommend Mike and the rest of his crew for training your dog. Journey was taken there and was jumping(shes a boxer) so he worked on obedience and manners. He sent video updates, replied to my questions and concerns and overall did a great job with her. I'm happy at the outcome. On pick up Tyler made sure I knew everything that I was supposed to and answered any questions I had. Boxers can get pretty wild if you let them rule the roost now me and Journey have an understanding I'm the boss and she's the dog lol. Great job Mr Mike

The trainers are very helpful and friendly! The amount of knowledge Mike and his staff has is incredible. I never thought we could get our high energy dog under control, but after she spent a few weeks with Mike she is a completely different dog. Mike and his trainers are totally genuine people who love what they do and the dogs they work with daily. Highly recommend!
