T he worst sin towards our fellow creatures is not to hate them, but to be indifferent to them. That is the essence of inhumanity. WOW! JCAPL adopted 314 dogs and puppies and 445 cats and kittens in 2008. M obile spay-neuter clinics that visit Johnston County on a regular basis. Services
Your donation helps provide the food, shelter, and medical care that the cats and dogs of JCAPL need. When you check out via PayPal you will be given the option to make your donation monthly. You can also specify in the Paypal memo that your donation go to the Spay/Neuter Program. Every month we highlight much needed items for both cats and dogs on our Wish List Items of the Month page. Check out what our fosters need the most to care for our homeless pets. Donated items can be left at the Adoption Center at the White Oak PetSmart.
Fosters are special people and families who care for pets in need until they find their forever homes. JCAPL rescues, rehabilitates, spays/neuters, fosters, and adopts-out over 350 cats and 250 dogs each year. Without a shelter, fosters are the foundation of our organization. JCAPL would not be able to operate without them!
We are committed to making good matches between our animals and their potential new homes. If you are interested in adopting from JCAPL, an Adoption Application must be completed. The application will be reviewed by one of our Adoption Coordinators. If the application is approved, you will be required to complete an Adoption Agreement.
Canela is a sweet 2-year-old lab mix. She is 53lbs. Before being taken in with her puppies, Canela was an outside dog for her entire life. Upon testing she was heartworm positive and has completed treatment. The next heartworm test is recommended in November. She is fearful of new people; it takes a few days for her to trust them enough to come close and allow them to pet her.
We offer this donation in your name to honor your passion for animals. You are always the first to rescue an animal in need and make sure they find a nice, loving home. Luke is lucky to have you as his dog-dad! We wish you nothing but the best this year. Happy Birthday! We love you! In memory of Abbie girl, 2007-2020, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, like the Queen of England's dogs.
