Brandenburg Massage Therapy LLC is approved by the International Association of Animal Massage and Bodywork / Association of Canine Water Therapy as a Approved Preferred Educational Provider. Becky Brandenburg is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider.
My journey in massage therapy began as a horse owner seeking help for my horse, a retired race horse with hind end issues. That journey has now led to this program. I've drawn on my experience as both a therapist and a long time educator to develop this course of study. My objective is not to churn out as many therapists as possible.
Tree of Life Canine MassageThe Canine Massage Certification course of study through Brandenburg Massage Therapy was the perfect program for me to start my canine massage business. As a massage therapist already licensed for "human" massage, I was impressed by the attention to detail regarding anatomy and technique.
Penn-Walt Equestrian located in the rolling foothills of the beautiful Ohio Valley is a professional riding and training barn operated by Justin DellaPenna. Justin, a 3x World Champion Horseman, strives for an environment that promotes enrichment and learning for both horse and rider, and the myriad of other critters that call the 22 stall facility home.

I enjoyed taking the dog massage class. The small class size was accommodating for all of the hands on instruction and my questions. It was a comfortable, laid back environment. Becky was awesome and I enjoyed working with her dogs. I anticipate that I will keep in contact with her and take additional classes as some point.

Becky has been doing massage therapy on my upper level dressage horse for at least 10 years. I don't know what we would do without her. She has kept him going in the show ring. He is comfortable and he loves his massages. Becky has always been professional and has been available to help us when we need it. Thankyou

During this class the instructor spoke about herself for an extensive amount of time, not leaving much time to go over her excessive content. The class was held in her house with her five dogs locked in her kitchen. She explained it was haunted and showed us tall the cremated remains of pets and loved ones. I was even reprimanded for setting my book down on a box of ashes in the clutter to practice a skill. Very unprofessional instruction and setting.

Becky is SO intuitive and such an organic teacher.she knew exactly what learning style I was and study strategies I needed to succeed. The four days I spent in Becky's class was one of the most informative and restorative times of my of my life! The materials and techniques I learned with Brandenburg Massage Therapy have greatly benefited me in the services I am able to provide my pet sitting clients and ongoing relationships with the dogs that I service. I highly recommend Becky's expertise as a professional canine and equine massage therapist.

I had a wonderful experience learning canine massage at Brandenburg Massage Therapy. I received very detailed and helpful study materials prior to attending the in-person class. The booklets and DVD instructions were very useful and I still refer to them. During the 4 day in-person course, Becky walked us thru every step of the canine massage, and gave us plenty of opportunity to practice with each of her sweet dogs who really seemed to enjoyed receiving massages.
I loved the hands on experience and live feedback. We also received stuffed dogs to take to our hotel rooms each night and practice what we learned during the day. Overall I would recommend taking this course to anyone interested in learning canine sports massage.
