We had the best experience adopting our first cat from Simply Cats! We emailed hoping to be matched with a cuddly cat that would be comfortable around dogs, and had an appointment set up right away. When we arrived for our appointment, they had created a list of cats they thought would be a fit for us. Erika was extremely knowledgeable and explained the whole process and allowed us to go into the cat rooms and physically meet and interact with each one.

The whole facility was so clean and organized. They have interactive toys, beds, at catios they can birdwatch at and every room had a whiteboard with their info and daily updates on their behavior. We fell in love with Miss Tabby, now named Arya. She has adapted so well to our home and we couldn't be more happier with our new family member. Thank you so much for everything!

Several years ago my husband and I adopted two brothers named Pooh Bear and Christopher from Simply Cats. They were very young and found late October, 1 week old and without a mother. Simply Cats rescued them, inoculated, socialized them and adopted them to us. Two weeks or so after coming home, both cats showed signs of ringworm. Simply cats was there for us after the adoption.

They explained why some kittens will get ringworm when introduced to a new home, how to clear it up for good, and they provided medication for both cats at no cost to us, even though they acquired ringworm from our home environment post-adoption. After we thoroughly cleaned our home with vinegar, isolated the kittens, and administered the medication the ringworm cleared and never returned.

Simply cats does amazing work for the community and the felines that we share our world with. We will always look to this shelter for adoptions as well as after care. Thank you Simply Cats for all you do and for helping us adopt our endless sources of joy.

I got my own cat from here a few years ago and I plan on getting more from here as well! As a no-kill and cage-free shelter, cats are getting some of the best care they can! They also help so much with finding and returning lost cats. They give advice and resources for lost cats and will help with microchipping others as well. Absolutely recommend!

Best decision I ever made, they are great at matching you with a cat best fitting your lifestyle and needs. Honest and open, as well as available after adoption should you have any questions or concerns! 2 years later and Pye is the best edition to my household

Simply Cats is the best shelter and adoption center for cats. It's a no kill shelter and they strive to help all the cats that come in with sicknesses or disabilities. I got 3 very special kitties over the years from them and one of my Cats has feline dwarfism. The cats are always comfortable and the rooms are kept clean. The staff is amazing! Highly recommended!

Adopted a cat that was described as "shy" and was able to take advantage of a two for one deal, adopting her sister as well. "Shy" is not the word I would use. Feral and half-feral is the word I would use. We spent 3 weeks on the sister, in which she is part of the family now, enjoys attention, likes to cuddle. The one we originally wanted is still running everytime we get close. Hides under furniture, scratches (rips into) us if we do manage to get a hold of her.

The first two weeks we couldn't catch her. Spent the next 2 weeks in a large kennel to be acclimated to humans, allowed us to hold her briefly (3 minutes) and so we let her loose after the 4 weeks hoping she would warm up. Nope. Week 5 or 6 it's still back to day one. A cat we never see except to feed. Honestly, I feel $100 for a feral cat is ridiculous.

The sister makes up for the fee, and I really DO think it's the no contact COVID protocol to blame. They are not being acclimated to humans enough. Won't be adopting there again.

This was such an odd experience that I felt like I had to share it with others so they know what to expect. We arranged to have a virtual meet with a kitten that was described as longhair. When we saw the kitten on zoom it was very clearly a short haired cat. My husband and I decided to go ahead and adopt him because he seemed really snuggly and sweet.

We picked our son up from school, bought kitten supplies and went to the shelter. At which point we called to let them know we were there- they kept wanting us to pay while we waited outside. We asked Erika if we could see him and hold him while we did the paperwork and she refused. We were not allowed to see the kitten in person before we paid. I told her we wanted to hold him and see if he likes us and Erika then told me that because we asked to see the kitten she no longer trusted us with the kitten and we would no longer be allowed to adopt it. Literally, for asking to see our kitten we were denied adoption.

We have been avid pet lovers and adopters our entire lives and have never given up an animal, they knew this, it was on our application, but asking to see our kitten disqualified us from having him. How were we to even be sure that they were giving us the correct kitten if we aren't able to see it? It was a very odd and disturbing experience. It seemed like there was more going on and the adoption center was not being honest with us. I recommend using the Humane Society- they are very accurate about the pet's appearance and they are willing to let you see your kitten before you take it home.

Simply Cats is a no kill cat shelter! The staff and volunteers here are amazing people. You can tell they are all very passionate about what they do. The rooms are always clean and the cats are very well taken care of. They have cat rooms instead of cages. The rooms make it less stressful for the cats and also makes it easier to interact with them.
