I can't even express how thankful I am to each and everyone of you for helping my baby. If you spoke to him, rubbed him, sat with him, or gave him medicine, I just want you all to know that every little thing means so much. You will always have a very special place in my family, as well as in our hearts.

They are very good about fitting my dogs in when there has been an emergency or concern. That has saved me thousands of dollars from having to go to the Emergency Vet. When I had to put down my jack Russell (Blue) on a Sunday, it was done at the emergency vet. The next day I called Animal Care Center Of Salem to let them know that Blue had passed away.
They sent a condolences card that everybody had signed and wrote a personal message in. That meant a lot to me. I am now taking my beagle (Dimera) there and she receives excellent care too.

The employees here are so sweet and helpful. They always treat my baby right and offer some great advice for taking care of your furry friend! These people genuinely care and are always accommodating in any way they can. Also, I adore the kitty that roams the front desk, he's such a lovebug! They have a 10% military discount too! Hooray for savings!

Have been going to the Animal Care Center for years! Have always found them to be caring not only for our pets but as well as my family! Very respectful and thoughtful workers all around! The team is very insightful on the ongoing situations or check ups concerning our furry friends! During our years visiting they have taken extremely great care of our 3 dogs and 4 cats.
Can't say enough about the professionalism and craftsmanship they show in their work from grooming trips, spayed/nurturing surgeries, swallowed toys, end of the life send offs etc. they are wonderful! If I had to knit pick one thing it would be the smell of the facility. Of course I understand it is full of coming and going pets daily. However, it does make the hairs in your nose stick up when entering the building and even worse when your pet comes home smelling like the building. Overall this is a wonderful place to take care of your furry family members. Priced very fairly and great staff. I would highly recommend!

Came from 7 hours from Philadelphia, PA to Salem, VA for a Dog Show at the Civic Center and enjoyed the care and attentiveness of the staff. First, when calling in advance to ask what to expect for the vet care and laser therapy that will be available at the dog show, Doctor Noel was so welcoming and informative. I signed up for 3 treatments for the 5 days but was only able to use 2, since the last day of the show was quite busy!
But the treatments dramatically helped my dog Fella to feel better for some stiffness in his leg. I also accompanied a friend to the vet one day of the show for her to review with both Dr. Noel and Dr. Wadstrom for her dog's injury and get meds, while we waited in the parking lot we saw how diligent and quick moving the vet team was to retrieve and return dogs to and from the office.
The front desk team was so sweet and social, the clinic cat was well mannered and charming, the whole experience was such a breath of fresh, blue mountain air. Everyone is working so hard and with a smile on their faces, which isn't easy to do, especially not during a pandemic, but the culture at this clinic seems really healthy, well communicated, and they truly want to help and work with animals.

Service, courteous, respectful, considerate care to me and Sir Henry. I brought Princess Mary to get checked because something was wrong with her and her Vet did not pick it up. I brought her here to Animal Care of Salem and the Doc found it and told me the bad news. Princess had Pancreas Cancer. Because they found it we are able to help her through this process for proper care, love and quality of life. Thank you Doc.
