This pet resort was fantastic. We were a nervous wreck bringing our kitty cat to a new place. Didn't need to worry at all. This is the first time she came home from a kennel so relaxed and happy. They let me call in to them every day to check on her which we greatly appreciated. We spent the extra money for the fantasy suite which is a 3 story condo which was so cool. I'd definitely recommend this place.

It was a great experience, brought in my puppies for a free temperament/daycare trial. Staff was super friendly they took their time to explain about their packages and answered all of my question about boarding. The location is gorgeous very well maintained both inside and outside. The layout is very well thought out and plenty of room to play in. They are about to gain a loyal customer. My pups were very happy when I picked them up!

My dog Roxy is currently staying at Janry because I'm moving into a new home. I feel so at ease and comfortable because I know she is receiving the attention I could provide over the next few days! The facility and organized and clean. She is provided quality food and bedding. They send me adorable photos and updates daily! She is loving her nature walks and is extremely happy! 100% recommended

The Staff at Janry are top notch and truly love what they do. From the birthday parties, holiday parities, photos, videos. I feel good knowing that my pup is enjoying her day at doggy daycare. Beans LOVES you all!

There are so many great things I can say about this place, If you haven't Brought your furry baby to janry yet you need to see for yourself, the grounds are well kept always, the animals have a beautiful safe area to explore and have fun, the staff greets each dog by name and shows love and affection to all. Plus they have a grooming area which my pup Hasn't experience yet but we are planing too. It's a 10 rating from Blue and family oxo

Even though today was our first day and only a trial run at daycare, we cannot rave enough about our experience. Our new rescue puppy has thrown us for a loop, and we have spent the last couple of weeks questioning everything we've ever known about dogs. Janry was our last hope. From the first phone call with Krista, we knew we were making the right choice.

Everyone was incredibly kind, friendly and welcoming. They saw we were overwhelmed and that we needed a little extra help. Elliot took the reins and reassured us that we were in good hands. When we got the phone call that things were going well, we cried. We got such positive feedback, so much insight, and suggestions for us to keep facilitating a positive experience at home.

We walked in this morning with a skiddish terror, who was afraid of everyone, and left with a completely different dog! We immediately signed up for daycare and we can't wait to see how Jango continues to blossom. Janry, you are an absolute lifesaver, THANK YOU!

I hate giving negative reviews. In fact, I think this may be the first one. Sorry Janery. I wanted to love this place. The woman I spoke to on the phone seemed lovely but I brought my puppy in for an intro day of daycare and two days later he became super sick and was diagnosed with kennel cough, despite being fully vaccinated. Over $500 in vet bills.

I understand they can't control everything but I can't understand how no one noticed a sick dog in the mix. A coughing dog is pretty easy to spot. My dog has been around two other dogs ever and that was months before so it was the only place he could have picked kennel cough up. My other disappointment is that it was his introductory day but I had to ask the girl at the desk for info about how he did and received a one sentence response. I felt the feedback could have been better.

Janry Pet Resort has been such an amazing place for my dog to spend time at. From daycare to boarding, their service is top of the line. I was so nervous for my dog's first time boarding, but Janry gave me tons of confidence that my boy was happy, safe and not missing us at all. Their facilities offer endless fun for my pup, I highly recommend any of their services. EDIT: I have now been using Janry's services for almost a year - Best. Facility. Ever.

My pup gets so excited even just hearing their pre-recorded message when I call to get him in to daycare. He absolutely loves the place and we are so grateful to the staff for their dedication and love for dogs. Thanks, Janry! Included are some pictures from his report card when we went on vacation - clearly he was having the time of his life, like he got his own mini vacation too!

The pet grooming professionals at Janet pet resort really care for your pet. My dog is very friendly but gets very nervous and doesn't like her paws touched when attempting to clip her nails. When I went to pick her up I was pleasantly surprised at how well behaved she was indicating to me that she trusts her groomer. That makes it all so much easier. Good people here, give them a call for your pets next grooming.

Crazy obsessive dog mother here, searched high and low within 1 hour of my home for an acceptable boarding/resort for my dog Scarface. After a few weeks of scouring the internet, a few visits with other kennels, when I took my boy for a visit @ Janry, it felt/ looked like a paradise for dogs! -The grounds are 10-10, waterfalls, water features, fountains of sorts, keeping your dogs senses going, trails and different landscape A+++ -Suits/ Kennels seemed spacious and clean. -Staff 10-10 helpful/kind.

I chose the platinum package which is multiple walks a day, a report card with pictures, and several other amenities. Let me just say, my boy is not good with other dogs, and he is strong and not easy to handle. But loves people! The pictures that i got DAILY put us @ ease, knowing he was getting human interaction multiple times a day! Since his first summer stay i have referred 2 other families to Janry!

I'm also having my senior pup and scar boarded there in December. This is the absolute top of the line facility that i could find and trust with my baby. thank you Janry : -Ken Pruckowski/Chelsea

After owning many show dogs, I have seen the work of scores different groomers and am very fussy about how my dogs look, even when they no longer show and their coats are cut down to a manageable length. The people at Janry are extremely professional, know and love animals, and make me feel confident that every time they bathe and groom my dogs they will come home sparkling clean and immaculately groomed.

In addition -and this is most important to me - when I pick up the boys they are very happy and not stressed - a sure sign that they have been well taken care of. I would highly recommend Janry for all your boarding and grooming needs. You could not do better.

I've taken our cat Buddy to Janry three times now and he's stayed in the three-tiered condos. He is not freaked out like he is when he is boarded elsewhere. That is why we travel about an hour to board him at Janry. He also never comes home sick like he has even when we have boarded him at a local vet. The young people that take care of Buddy do a good job, I believe. I have felt very comfortable leaving him here.

I would not recommend this establishment in any way shape or form. I dropped my baby off on a Thursday (recently). 2 days later I received an email stating how wonderful he was doing. The day he was due to be picked up I received a phone call from the trainer. He asked if I could come get my dog before he left as he was the only one my boy got along with.

When I picked him up his snout was covered with scabs and multiple scratch marks. Why was I just being notified of this issue at the end of his stay? If he only got along with one person who took care of him? Feeding, walks( I paid extra for) kennel cleaning etc. I have yet to receive a response from them. I only gave them one star b/c I had to in order to post this. They don't even deserve that

Never again taking ANY of my animals there. I'm here dealing with my dog having kennel cough. He was there for a week with their platinum package so he had plenty of attention to notice. He lost 10 pounds in a week which is proof HE DIDNT EVEN EAT. He was 104 pounds when I left an now 95?! Something doesn't add up. He's supposed to be in group play.

But what a coincidence in every single picture that they sent me he was by himself so that means they separated him and he knew that he had something wrong with him I did not tell me about it and said that they did not know about it I will never take my dog here and now I am taking them to court

My husband and I could not be happier with Janry. Our fur baby, Emma, is very energetic and her first year of life (before we adopted her) was largely spent in a crate in a small apartment. When we adopted her, she was skittish and reactive to other dogs; we did not feel comfortable introducing her to other animals. It was at that time I called Janry and spoke with Trainer John.

He reassured us he could help. I was skeptical, but we decided to give it a try. It was one of the best decisions ever. Emma has been introduced to many new dogs who she enjoys playing with. We use Janry for their daycare as well. I love being able to look on Facebook and see daily pictures of the dogs at daycare. Emma truly loves it there. She is so excited when we pull into the parking lot -- it's a great feeling! We love Janry and would recommend them to anyone!

UPDATE: Nearly two weeks later and Janry sent me a reimbursement for the stay and my vet bill accompanied by an offensive letter questioning my vet's diagnosis. Which is ludicrous seeing as Janry never EVEN NOTICED the large, open sore and my vet confirmed they had never even called to speak with her. Luckily his infection cleared with the round of antibiotics. Regardless, do not be fooled by the "resort" title, it is a kennel. As you will notice in July someone had a similar experience to mine so they obviously have some issues there. Be careful.

We just picked up our dog from staying here for five days while we were out of town. The members of the staff we interacted with during drop off/pick up were nice enough, but upon getting home, we realized our poor buddy is in a lot worse condition then when we dropped him off. We will be calling the facility tomorrow morning with the following questions, since our pup was returned to us in such poor condition. -Did you give him Claritin every morning, as we asked you to, as he has a skin allergy and this is his vet-prescribed regimen? - What happened to the tupperware container of Claritin?

It was not returned to us in the bag we left with him. Also not returned to us was a black kong toy. - His nails appear to have been clipped even though we did not ask for grooming of any sort. - He seems to have been bathed (based on smell & texture of his coat), we did not want him to be bathed, as his skin is very sensitive and we did not pack his medicated shampoo. - He has no bark (which we did not realize until we got home and heard him attempt) and his voice is hoarse. - He seems noticeably skinnier than when we dropped him off. - He has an ear infection he did not have upon arrival and we were not notified upon picking him up. - His skin is dry, irritated, and scabbed in places it was not before. - He seems more lethargic than usual. - We asked for the silver package and were told that it would be $59/night along with daycare.

Five nights, plus one extra day of daycare, was supposed to result in a bill of well over $300 total before tax, and we were only charged $289 and change. Does this mean the services we asked for were not rendered? - Additionally, we ended up being charged three times because our card had an issue being processed, so it was swiped three times. Once we notified our bank, all three charges went through.

The attendant should have voided the first two transactions so that this did not occur, since we were told this "happens all the time". Quite disappointed in what our dog's current condition suggests about how he was treated while in the care of Janry Pet Resort. Wish we had taken a tour of the facilities beforehand.

After reading very disturbing reviews, I had to comment. We love our doodle Dylan and have boarded him at Janry a hand full of times. I cannot say enough nice things about the staff. Everyone we encounter is kind and caring and pet loving. Not that I want to leave my doodle, but sometimes he just can't travel with us. Dylan has always come home healthy and happy and thanks to Liane, well groomed and oh so handsome.

The grounds are always clean, I check Facebook every day for photos of my DylanDoodle and he always looks like he's having a great time at playgroup. I applaud the staff of Janry for doing an OUTSTANDING job and going above and beyond with their love and care. We have always been greeted with a smile and a caring word. Thank you Janry Pet Resoet.

I brought my dog in for a overnight stay about a month ago; and he came back with fleas and open lesions all over his body! please; DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG THERE: it cost me over $500 to go to my vet and rectify the situation.

I can only speak to feline boarding aspect of this business, but it was the best boarding experience I have ever had! I had a last minute issue and needed my three cats out of the house for 24 full hours. Went on Yelp and realized that Janry is 5 minutes from my house! I called up and the phone person was completely helpful, booking my cats into a three tiered suite. (http://cdn2.hubspot.net/hub/173706/file-20834032-jpg/images/cat_condos.jpg?t=1434306575233&width=295&height=159) Image is from their site, I forgot to take a picture, the wooden face on the bottom is the "ground floor" with litter pan, cat sized stairs between levels.

I will say the price was not insignificant, but I did call last minute and got all my needs fulfilled, so I was happy to pay. Pick up was a breeze; every employee we encountered was friendly and professional. My cats were only there overnight, but they were basically unruffled, although happy to be home. It's very clear that this business has spent time thinking about what their brand is and how to grow it successfully. Very impressed, 5/5.

The people who work at this place are clueless and danger to people's dogs. The owners are too lazy to train their staff and do not mandate the reading of dog health literature. When my dog stayed at this place, I went to pick her up from Janry and she was convulsing.on death's door. I asked the apathetic teenager how long my dog had been ill and he just shrugged his shoulders saying "I dunno she was acting weird since yesterday" I rushed my dog to emergency vet and she died. The cause was un known.

I've been taking my dog Angus to Janry for the last two years and I love everything about this pup resort. The staff is wonderfully helpful and attentive. I know he is getting the socialization, attention and love from everyone (dogs included) at Janry. I take Angus everyday for daycare and he boards there when we're away and we never worry because of how wonderfully he is treated.

Great caring and loving staff! We feel very comfortable leaving Zsa Zsa & Gus with them when we travel. We call Janry the "Pet Spa" our pugs go to! Super clean facility with awesome grounds for them to romp and play. Plus each day they post photos (hundreds of them each day!) on Facebook so we can see our pups having fun!

Quoted a relatively low price for basic boarding over the phone and then when we picked up our dog, the price was different and over 3X higher. Do NOT take your dog here unless you want to be overcharged. If you choose to go here any way, get the price quote in writing so no "misunderstandings". Bottomline - take your business elsewhere.

The staff is rude and unknowledable, the kennels are dirty, and one of the owners is backyard breeding inferior quality German Shepherds. Take your pet elsewhere.

Here's the deal-looks good from afar but far from good. The grounds are gorgeous and it seems as if it's very "fancy" However, it's not! Beware: overpriced and unknowledgeable staff. I would never bring my dogs back there!

I agree with you melanie all the place is kids running the show.i was boarding my dog there and when i brought her home she was sick.when you receive a tour please make sure you see the whole kennel i wish i had done this.really take a look around and see the staff that will be taking care of your dog. all it takes is to leave your dog there for the weekend and you might not have it anymore!
