Never again will you feel guilty when you need to be away from your dog! Our clients leave with peace of mind knowing that their beloved canine companion is in the best of care. Our priority is your pet's safety, happiness and well being. Our mission is to provide each and every dog with a safe and happy boarding experience. We succeed in doing so by including play time, both individual and group depending on the dog's level of socialization. Weather permitting, the dogs get out to 1 of 8 play yards 4 times per day at no extra charge.
Services
The Dog Ranch is a clean and modern dog boarding facility. We provide each dog with their own, individual, indoor/outdoor run. The indoor portion of the run is both heated and air conditioned. Each dog has the option of bringing his own bed or blanket from home. This brings the dog a level of comfort and security while he is on vacation with us.
Rates per day include, both, food & play time. However, we do recommend that dogs on special diets, including senior dogs and puppies, bring their own food. In the event that your dog requires the administration of medications, vitamins or a special feeding, there is an extra $1.00 charge per day per dog in addition to regular boarding fees.

The first few visits seemed to go ok as we have always been honest that our dog is reactive and very nervous. On our last and final visit we were told we could not return. Despite our communication regarding his behavior, A new young employee was petting him and he growled and displayed teeth. While this kennel might work for perfectly behaved dogs, it may not be the place for you if your pup has any behavior issues.

I do not recommend the dog ranch. Staff clearly doesn't care. My dogs were dropped off for 5 days. They were picked up covered in hotspots, scabs, sores, swollen legs and both lost significant weight. The took my Great Danes bed out of his cage, and gave him a plastic cot, most likely for a dog the size of a lab. The day he came home he couldn't even walk.
I had to carry my 150 lbs dog to his bed and he didn't move once for 24 hours. Took him to the vet and he had to be put on pain killers and antibiotics. When I called to see what happened, the staff acted like it was totally normal for a dog to get "hot spots" and that my dog just didn't lay down often. The woman I spoke with said the employee who gave them baths the day before I picked them up didn't notice anything.
Look at the photo's this is a 150lbs Great Dane, those welts are the size of apples, pretty hard to miss. I feel so bad for my dogs, and will not be sending them back. Which is unfortunate because they used to be really great. But for nearly $400, plus a not cheap vet visit, they should have been treated better.

We have used the Dog Ranch many times. Picked up our two dogs yesterday, they were there for 6.5 days. We had divided all food for two meals per day per dog. Snacks for each day with specific instructions. Came home with all the snacks. We called to ask why they hadn't been given the snacks (dentastix and nubs, one each per day), the staff member said they were "just to busy to do that".
Our one dog had feces stuck all to her tail (she's a setter, long hair) and circled all around the base of her tail. If they are that busy, hire adequate staff. It has become all about the money, no longer about the dogs.

This place is convenient, extremely clean, and priced good for what we wanted. Offers large, legitimate indoor/outdoor kennels. Dog gets taken outside to roam 4 times a day - no extra fee for this! Very nice hilly, grassy yard with a pond for dogs. They will group your dog with similar personality dogs if you want them to, for play outside. Downside is.no credit/debit card payments, check or cash only.

My Chesapeake Bay Retriever Alex stayed at the Dog Ranch over Labor Day weekend Alex is the most kind loving dog that I and many other people have ever known Saturday that weekend we received a call from the Dig Ranch saying that Alex had jumped on one of the very young girls that works there and that we should come home from our vacation and come pick him up NOW! Alex was limping when we picked him up and the explanation from the owner was that Alex tried to jump one of the fences they have on their property and cut the pad of his right foot. Bottom line is my best friend was hurt at this place. These people are poorly trained and incompetent I will never take another dog here again!

The ONLY place to take your pup while on vacation or if you're just too busy in life. Todd and Monica are extremely knowledgable and very friendly owners. All of the girls working there treat your dog like you would yourself, if not better. You will be confident having your pet in the hands of the Dog Ranch while away from home. Expect them to be tuckered out after some time in doggy heaven with activities, and play time with dogs with similar temperament. Our 2 dogs have never had an issue after coming home and always seem happy as we drop them off. Check this place out!

I have been bringing my dogs here for years and they love it. The staff is always friendly and positive and polite. The facility is very clean and organized. You know your dog is happy to go when you cannot contain them in the car in the parking lot, every time. I love the cost and the care, very affordable and I never worry about my dogs when I drop them off. I will never go anywhere else unless they close. Keep up the great work.

We left our young Pit mix here for 6 days while we were on vacation, while our senior dogs were cared for by our daughter. All was well when we picked him up.or so we thought. About 8 days after we picked him up, suddenly we had 3 hacking dogs. Went to the vet, and the vet actually came to the car and diagnosed all 3 with kennel cough. Strange, because none of the other dogs had left our home.
The next day, a 4th dog started hacking. Needless to say, the meds for 4 dogs with kennel cough was expensive. Asked our vet if the boarded dog, who had been vaccinated for Bordetella, could have carried it home from the kennel, he said absolutely. I called Dog Ranch to inform them about the 4 cases of kennel cough at our house. Gave my name and number and asked to be called back, and never heard from them. Ultimately, all 6 of our seniors ended up with Kennel Cough. We won't be returning back there.

We have been taking our dog here for the past 4 years. It is so nice to know our dog is going to a clean, safe environment when we go out of town. The owners and staff are there to keep the dogs happy and healthy. Our dog absolutely loves the kennel and goes crazy when he knows he is going! My dog loves to play and they spoil him. Thank you Dog Ranch for piece of mind while we are on vacation!

This is a wonderful kennel. Very caring staff and owners. All 4 of our dogs go there whenever we travel. They are very well taken care of and even get play dates with other compatible dogs. They come home clean, tired and happy every time! No one cares more about their facility than the owners. Highly recommend!

We have been taking our two large dogs to the Dog Ranch for several years. They LOVE it! The staff there is second to none - very loving, caring, professional and genuinely happy to be taking care of your pet! When I drop off my pups they can hardly wait to run in and see the girls - I feel like my dogs are vacationing as well as we are and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Never do we worry about the care, comfort or happiness of our dogs while in the great care of the Dog Ranch. I feel confident when I say that once you take your dogs to the Ranch you won't be taking them anywhere else!

Wonderful staff! We took our two babies to the dog ranch for our vacation and they loved it! We just picked them up and both are out cold from all of the fun. The staff was awesome and very attentive noticing that one needed vet care for her allergies they took her to Wilsons and she is on the mend now. Great place! We will be back!

Been using The Dog Ranch for 12 yrs about 100 visits with my Doberman and Boxer. I highly recommend them. I dont even leave my dogs with family because of the preasure it would put on the relationship. These people are professionals and take care of your pets until you return. Some other kennels have different packages for different activities different price plans I personally don't like to humanize it I just want my dog cared for. Dog Ranch offers activities that are included in your nightly stay and they do charge for the pond if needed.

We have boarded our dog Ike here for over a decade and they are always our first choice. He loves it here and is always excited when he knows he gets to visit. They are especially great with senior dogs and family groups. My neighbors book their annual vacations the year before because they know their dogs love being here the best. Really accomidating when possible, but weekends, especially in the summer, book fast so plan ahead, it's really worth it in my book.

The place is very reasonable and the staff seem to love dogs. They follow our written guidance as to how the dog is accustomed to be fed etc. The facilities are excellent. Our dog loves to be there. We have boarded him at the Dog Ranch for 20-21 days several years in a row. No problem. Better than any other kennel we have used in the past. (And less expensive too.)

We took our 1 year old German Shepherd here for 12 days. Wonderful place! She came back very happy and it was obvious that she had been played with a lot and not just stuck in a kennel. The staff was very friendly and definitely animal lovers. The prices are unbeatable and she also got to go for 3 swims and got a bath while she was there. Amazing place, we will definitely take her back! She didn't want to leave when we went to pick her up!

Just tried the Dog Ranch for the first time. We left our dog there for four days and when we picked him up he was limping. He acts like all his paws are hurting. The Dog Ranch has a pea pebble area they put the dogs in and it was 100 degrees here, thinking the pads on his paws are burned, he can barely walk. We will not be using this place again and do not recommend it.
