Our mission at Advanced PetCare of Oakland is a simple one: to combine the best of our medical ability with compassionate care. This mission imbues everything we do and is the driving force behind our commitment to identifying and treating the source of your pet's illness or injury. No matter how complex, we find answers.
Annual dental exams and cleanings are recommended to protect your pet from many health problems and help them maintain a healthy and clean mouth. Proper diet and nutrition can help your pet fight against disease, maintain a proper weight, and promote the overall well-being of your pet. Annual wellness exams evaluate your pets overall health, detect problems before they become serious, and keep them on track to live a long, healthy life. We're equipped to perform routine radiography services to identify many types of illness or injury when pets are sick or suffer a trauma.
Advanced PetCare of Oakland is proud to be involved in helping cats find new homes. Shortly after we first opened our doors, we began working closely with Oakland County Animal Control to help find good homes for both kittens and adult cats. To date, we have rehomed more than 400 felines to new families!

We love Advanced Pet Care! We've been patients here for over 4 years and have had nothing but positive experiences. All the doctors on staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. The vet techs are personable and incredibly patient, our 6 yr old dog Addie has a lot of nervous energy and they do their best to make it as easy as they can on her. We also have a mini holland lop, they were amazing with her.
They did her spay in 2021 and it was a great experience. Having a vet that can take care of all our our babies is so great! Recently we had an emergency situation and they got us in asap, the same day actually. The paw plan they offer is very affordable for our pets routine maintenance as well as gives us discounts on things we choose to do outside of routine things. We love the staff and know they're only a phone call away.

Our puppy was neutered at Advanced Pet Care of Oakland. We were very apprehensive about doing the procedure. "Zack" answered all of our questions and calmed our fears. The clinic took very good care of our puppy and he is healing very well. We were called right away when he was in recovery and received clear instructions regarding his after care. Our visits to the clinic have always been positive and the receptionists are always friendly and helpful. I always receive follow up texts and emails and someone is always available if we have questions or concerns. Glad we chose this clinic for our new puppy.

The staff treated my senior cat and us as a family with such dignity and respect. This was the second kitty I had to put down and I felt like I was at a funeral. A quiet room with as much time as we needed. Not just a shot in the exam room and boom you're out. It was all very private and in your own time. Thank you, Advanced care and staff!

Tiny- my 9 year old Chihuahua had his dental cleaning with dr waters. I just have to say I love this office! I had anxiety about my fur baby going under(they give updates) and they gave him the right meds to help him relax. They also let me know exactly what was happening before hand. We knew he was getting teeth pulled and dental surgery. Dr waters did a great job explaining what was done during his cleaning/surgery after and the assistant did great explaining his after care. He is at home resting and recouping.

I visited with a stray cat (who decided to come live with us recently) to get her checked out and vaccinated. The staff could not have been nicer, kinder, or more wonderful toward our new family member! They obviously love animals as much as my family does. It was just such a positive, unstressful experience. Thank you so much!

Wow! I thought our previous two vets were good, this place is INCREDIBLE! We were going out of the country and had to get paperwork processed the team here did a PHENOMENAL JOB! They walked us through the entire process and went above and beyond my highest expectations! They took such good care of our puppy! They were SO ORGANIZED and SO CARING! I cannot recommend this vet office enough everyone was so kind and amazing! We will come back whenever we come back to the States!
