Services
Mazomanie Animal Hospital recognizes that medical care for your pet can be expensive and sometimes unexpected. To help our clients better cope financially with these situations, we offer Care Credit as a short term solution. You can apply through our office or online prior to arrival. If you apply online, please print your confirmation and bring it with you.
Because of the shorter lifespans of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examinations and wellness labwork testing. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. Routine Care and Vaccinations: We focus on keeping your pets healthy and happy with annual complete physical examinations and vaccines to prevent many serious diseases.
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. In light of this, we always make a sincere attempt to see each client on time, and we appreciate your patience.

We are very lucky to have such an amazing fur baby team here in Mazomanie! They are always kind, professional, patient and explain everything throughly. Always there for questions over the phone to avoid any unnecessary appointments and when you do need to make an appointment it's easy and timely. Went in for an ultrasound and biopsy for a prostate issue and had to go back because they didn't get good enough pics of the problem area. Then the biopsy apparently didn't work so they were going to refund me. When I called it took 8 calls in a row until they answered and they couldn't issue the refund because they didn't have detailed enough notes to issue it till the next day when someone that was there for the issue was going to be in to work. Thank God it wasn't a time sensitive issue or my pup would be in real trouble.

Great people that treat you and your pet very well. You would think COVId would have taken a negative effect on the service at a vet, but not in Mazomanie! The service here is top notch. You can tell your pet is loved by them, and they enjoy their jobs. They take a lot of time to help you learn what to do in tough situations when your pet can't tell you what is wrong. We are between pets at the moment, but we will be back.

They took my cat in the same day I called. They treated me and my cat with respect, kindness, patience and then, most importantly, explained everything to me so I could understand. I was extremely impressed with the final cost as well. Very affordable for that level of care and professionalism. Definitely will recommend this veterinary to my fellow animal lover friends. Dr. Richardson and staff are wonderful. I have been taking my now elderly dogs to clinic for a long time. If I call regarding something that I am concerned about they always are very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place! Dr. Richardson is so easy to talk to and I feel very comfortable with all suggestions she may have. Kudos to the whole staff! Thank you for being so caring and friendly to my furbabies!

We have been driving from the west side of Madison to the Mazo vet for years. We started there with a pack of five, but are now down to three. The end of life care, advise, and guidance they provided to us made all the difference when our dogs passed away. Caring for an aging pet is especially difficult because they can't speak for themselves, and we often had questions about the next, best thing to do. The Dr.s and staff where always there and willing to help us.
