A regular physical examination is just as important for your pet as it is for you. Our veterinarians recommend a complete physical examination for your pet at least once a year, though more frequent exams are encouraged. During a physical examination, we perform a "nose-to-tail" examination of your pet.

We made an appointment for dog to be groomed. We had been looking for a new groomer for some time so our pet was overdue. The appointment was for 8 in the morning. We dropped him off and was told pick up time would be early afternoon. We were not pleased with the idea that he would be locked in a kennel for that long but as I said, he was overdue.
We got a call shortly after we left and was asked if he had two particular shots which we were not aware he needed as we have taken to a vet on a regular basis his entire life. They would not groom him without them so it cost us an additional $100. When we finally were able to pick him up we were so excited to see him we didn't realize till we got him the car that he did not appear to be groomed. No smell of shampoo, coat was still matted and did not seem to be his same energetic self. We tried to call several times to resolve the issue but no such luck.

I was referred to your animal hospital by another vet office when I was calling around trying to find a place to bring our guinea pig for an eye issue. I was not having luck finding a vet who deals with guinea pigs until I called your office. I am more then happy I was referred to you. I was able to get an appointment right away, on New Year's Eve.
The nurse and Dr. Chad were absolutely wonderful and caring. I left there feeling so good about the care our little Carmel got and even though it is a 40 minute drive, I will make the drive any time one of our guinea pigs need to be seen.

I'm so thankful to Dr. Abby and her staff at Sauk Prairie Small Animal Hospital. They suggested options to me to that will enable me to make changes to my aging beagles diet; which will make a huge impact on her health and quality of life! It's very reassuring to me to know that I have a trusted vet in this area if my pet needs care when I travel!
