Welcome to Granite Ledge Kennels where our goal is to provide you with a dog that is a pleasure to have in the field and your home. We have 180 acres of training grounds with ponds to meet your dogs training needs. The trainer can give total concentration to the dog in an environment that is ideal for training. We are located in Milaca, Minnesota, just off of Highway 169, northwest of the Twin Cities.

Granite Ledge Kennels offers a full range of training options from basic obedience training to advanced hunt training. All dogs learn at their own pace. We take special attention to each dog. We take great pride in creating a positive learning atmosphere for your dog. Before your dog goes home Chris will provide you with individual instruction on the proper training techniques and how to handle your newly trained dog. Granite Ledge Kennels occasionally has hunting dog puppies for sale. We have a strong record and background in breeding quality hunting dogs, as well as great family pets. In addition to gun dog puppies, we also have started dogs for sale. All Granite Ledge Kennels puppies come with written hip and eye guarantee, which includes EIC.

We purchased a yellow/male Labrador from Granite Ledge Kennel in May 20,2017. Jasper is now 13-months old, 24 inches at the shoulder and 72 pounds. We have had an excellent relationship with Chris Wilson owner/trainer. I was very specific regarding my search for a dog with a strong field hunting pedegrie but also have a tractable in-house personality to deal with spouse and young grand children. Jasper fit our requirements precisely.
I have done most of the training myself but employed Chris' professional skills for 6 weeks wither of 2017 while we were out of town.worth every penny. The litter from Anna x Gator in 2017 has produce a dog with excellent hunting drive, good physical conformation and a love-puppy disposition. I highly recommend Granite Ledge and Chris Wilson for those seeking a quality puppy or started dog.
