Teapup is a family-owned business that raises happy, healthy puppies to be adopted into loving homes. Dan and Deb Beer began raising dogs in 1989 (that makes 32 years!), and have attained much knowledge through the years regarding all aspects of raising dogs and puppies. They love seeing their beautiful puppies go to great forever homes, and they believe it is a wonderful blessing to have a part in making a child's dream of puppy ownership come true!Dan is a minister in their church, and also farms about 700 acres of corn in the area.
Services
Below you will find a short description for each breed we raise here at Teapup. It is our goal to help you have as much knowledge as possible when selecting the correct breed for you and your family. Feel free to reach out if you are unsure which breed is best for you. We are happy to answer any additional questions you may have.
When a litter turns 4 weeks old we will begin to advertise the puppies with each of them having their own individual ad. The puppies aren't allowed to be held until 4 weeks old seeing as they don't receive vaccines until then. You are more than welcome to call our office to see if there is a litter born and get the litter information ahead of time if you are interested!
Welcome to our "News" page, where you can find the latest information on Teapup's outings. Below you can see photos and short blurbs about our events in the community over the past few years. In May, we got to share the joy of puppies with our community in the annual Memorial Day Parade. Local kids got lots of candy, puppy loving, and a photo with Audrey the dog!

I adopted a beautiful boy, miniature schnauzer puppy, Pierce from Tea Pups. I named him Bruce Oakley! He is wonderful addition to my home and has truly brought me much joy! He is a very playful, smart, loving puppy! His personality is wonderful and he has become friends with all the dogs and people in my neighborhood! Thank you so much for my wonderful, sweet puppy!

They are a puppy mill, they change their name everytime things get difficult for them to do business. Worked right next door for years and visited the horrors of that place (dogs in cages who lost limbs from carpeting get wrapped around their legs and cutting off circulation and no one noticed until it was too late, but they kept on breeding them) They change the name of their business but it's owned by the same people who only care about the money and not the animals.
They took one of their breeding dogs to the vet to have her put down because she couldn't have anymore babies, fortunately the vet called a friend of mine and they took her in and gave her a wonderful life (outside of a cage) before she passed away naturally.) PLEASE do thorough research into the people you are buying your pet from! Puppy Mills need to be shut down permanently.

Well cared for by Teapup. I adopted two available adults. Sisters. Bolognese. They were 6.5 years old when I adopt them, they turned 7 Dec 2020. Being kennel adult pups, requires patience. I've had to teach them everything. Potty training, stair climbing, walking on a leash, commands etc. Worth it! Both are so loveable, calm, alert. We are a happy family.

Our little guy, Niko, is 5 months old now. His name was Wolf while he was at Teapup. We are so pleased to have gotten our Shih-Chon from them! The staff was so easy to work with, and the whole process was flawless. We were all so excited to get him, they would send us updates, texts and videos to get us by until we could bring him home!

We bought a Havanese puppy in November 2017 from Teapup. We love her personality, coloring, and her playfulness! Teapup was great to work with as we had to travel to get her! Originally her name was Trick, now she is Wrigley Mae and she was born in Sept 5, 2017. Thank you Teapup for helping us get out babygirl, we love her so much!

The adoption practices at Teapup make it clear that the focus is on selling and not on the actual customer or dog. We got our first dog from Teapup/Beer's over 10 years ago. Since then it seems like things have really changed. They do not up keep a waitlist of those waiting for a puppy and when puppies are ready to be adopted there is a free-for-all where you must call at 9am on a given date and if you're the lucky caller you get the dog, no matter if you've been trying to get a puppy for a year or for a day from them.
Other breeders are capable of keeping a waitlist for puppies and it seems like that would be the fair way to manage the demand if you had any loyalty to or respect for the customer whatsoever.

We purchased a miniature schnauzer puppy from Teapup after I did so much research online. They shipped our puppy to Ft Myers, FL and she arrived in perfect condition and has been a joy to have around the house. I was in correspondence with Crystal via email through the entire process and she was so helpful. I even sent a follow up thank you email which she responded to right away. I would definitely recommend this breeder. Crystal was an absolute joy to work with! Thanks Teapup!

I wanted to give a review of our puppy we named Mabel (Glitz when we got her). We have had her for a year now and I can tell you she has become an integral part of our family. She is the sweetest most loving little dog, even if she is HUGE (15lbs and still getting bigger). I got her for my wife who was devastated by the premature passing of our first little dog who was a first anniversary gift.
For months she was sad and when we got Mabel it was as if the sun came out from behind the clouds and my wife smiled again. Mabel is her constant companion and snuggle buddy. She is the most physically affectionate dog I have ever met and has an amazing temperament. Our groomer calls her "an aggressive lover" and everyone in our high rise thinks she is the happiest dog in the world.
She is missing a nipple (our vet told us that's pretty common) but we don't hold that against her. I cannot tell you how happy we are with how Mabel has turned out. She is sweet, intelligent, affectionate, healthy, and energetic. Just the most perfect little companion for my wife and a great little sister to our older dog (14 yrs). They play every morning, evening, and night for about 15 minutes and it's keeping our old lady dog on her toes! Can't say enough about how great Mabel has turned out.

My husband stopped by Teapups on a business trip to Elkhart from Charlotte and fell in love with a pup.we had her flown to Charlotte a few weeks later and found this Coton de Tulear to be the sweetest most loving little girl we'd ever had, and we've had many family dogs over the years. The facility itself was well run, clean and every employee we've dealt with has been very kind.
The only reason that we do not rate 5 stars is that we learned our pup has an incurable autoimmune disease. we've taken her to many internists and spent quite a bit of money to attempt to cure her.only to be told that our time with her will be brief. (she's already survived 18 months longer than expected) She's doing quite well, and if love can keep her alive, then she'll be around long long time.
The teacup family did everything they could to help us find the answers and even refunded our money and we never even asked them to do that. They are good people and we'd surely recommend them.
