Powell Animal Hospital

My husband and I are pretty new to the area and were looking for a veterinarian for our fur baby. I looked up and found Powell Animal Hospital. The staff was very friendly and set up an appointment to see my dog right away. Everyone was welcoming, kind, and friendly. DR. Beth was very professional, thoughtful, thorough, and took the time to explain the visit to me and answer all of my questions.

My dog is older and is somewhat nervous and anxious upon meeting new people, however; she was calm and relaxed from when the staff came out to my car to get her all the way through the visit, and upon returning her to me. I am very well pleased with the treatment my dog received at Powell Animal Hospital. I have never seen my dog so content, and relaxed after a visit to the vet before like when I picked her up today from Powell.

After using the same vet for years and he retired, I had to find a new vet. Powell Animal Hospital was recommended. What a fabulous experience for my first visit. The waiting room was clean. The staff was super nice! Dr. Haig was exceptional! To be able to stay with my new puppy for her initial exam and to be loved on by the staff. It proved rather quickly why Powell Animal Hospital came highly recommended. I'm anxious to get my 4 year old dobie acquainted with them as she's due her annual the end of May. But, I was more than pleased with the knowledge, care, and love shown.

The care my geriatric cat has received here has been fantastic! Doctors listen and offer advice! The front desk staff and vet techs are great also! Thank you for taking time to care for my cat!

The vets, front office staff, and technicians were friendly and knowledgeable. The clinic was clean. I was pleased with the care provided to my senior kitty, but found the prices to be on the higher side. If the prices were more budget friendly, I would have given the Powell Animal Hospital a 5 out of 5 rating.

My Rudy is a cattle dog, which means he's stubborn. He didn't want to have shots or have his nails trimmed, as usual. Kudos to Elle and Dr. Peterson for being so gentle with him even though he was being a brat. We decided to not try to do his nails because he was being so fussy. He really is a good doggie. I've been using Powell Animal Hospital for forty years, even back to the Dr. Sternberg era. Everyone has always been so professional and nice. I know my pups have gotten great care there.

On march 5th I had to send my boy Logan across the rainbow bridge. He was 17 years old and he was my best friend. I have been really struggling with loosing him. Today I received the most beautiful card from the doctor's and staff. Although I haven't stopped crying that helped me in so many ways. Just the fact that everyone remember his name ment the world to me at. Thank you again

Brought my dog with cancer here and they got her meds right. Powell Animal Hospital helped give her 4 more awesome months traveling the country. Thanks for taking care of us!

I have been going to them for years. Excellent doctors and staff who not only care for the pets, but also the owners. Highly recommend.

Dr Peterson and Dr Carr are amazing! The only issue I had was with another Dr.other than that I am very pleased with the care and staff!

I just recently switched vets to Powell animal hospital because we weren't having very good experiences with our former vet. We've only been to establish and get a nail trim, which for my pit mix has always been a traumatic experience. I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Carr and the lovely techs! Dr. Carr returned my call about medication dosing the next day, and the ladies who helped trim my girl's nails were very gentle and patient, and took their time so it was less scary. I am already very happy that we made the switch!

John and I want to thank the staff at Powell Animal Hospital for giving excellent care to our dog, Coco. John had surgery about two weeks ago. He was not able to take care of Coco which included taking her out to "do her business' every few hours or so. Since I work part-time, I could not be at home to take Coco out. Even if I were at home, taking. her out at night and all during the day, would have left me totally exhausted, and going to work would have been a nightmare for me. Coco received excellent care, as she always does when she or any of my other "furbabies" is boarded at POWELL ANIMAL HOSPITAL. Furthermore, the staff was really kind and considerate to help me take Coco and all her "stuff" such as her dog bed, favorite blanket, etc to the car. Thank you so very much and have a great Thanksgiving.

Dr. Peterson has been my veterinarian for many years. She was my last dog's vet and when it came time to euthanize her, she was very kind and compassionate. All of the doctors here are very good as well. I now have another puppy and I drive 50 miles for visits because it is absolutely worth it. I trust them because they have always been professional and provide excellent care to my dog.

Lola and Riley are always treated very well here! We get great service.

I love this animal hospital. My first visit was easy and the doctor took the time to make my two pups feel comfortable during the examine. I recommend them highly.

They were amazing. We had just adopted a puppy and she ended up very sick a couple of days after we brought her home. They were very attentive and made sure we knew they young Williams sometimes treats newly adopted dogs for free instead of doing all the treatments and charging me an arm and a leg. They have just gained a patient for life.

We were traveling through Tennessee when our 16 yr old cat became ill. It was determined she was probably in renal failure & we decided to have her put to sleep. Both the tech & Dr. Peterson were so compassionate & made me feel confident we made the right decision.

The staff was very patient and kind. My 2 year old dog is very nervous at the vet and groomer and the staff was very patient with her. Dr. Peterson is wonderful and gave us a few options on how best to proceed so everyone was comfortable.

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and everyone loves the animals and only wants the best for them

Dr. Peterson has ALWAYS taken care of my Shiba Inu and explains everything to me so i can care for my service dog as well as i can. Miss Sue at the front desk is always so kind, sweet, efficient and knowledgeable. My dog and i always have a positive experience and i highly recommend them for any animal family members and their humans.

The staff is always friendly and courteous notnonly to me, but my dog as well. They treat her as a client, setting up a.positive interaction with her before beginning their services.

The Veterinarians and all other staff are always compassionate, supportive, and knowledgeable. The are friendly and professional at all times and listen to what I have to contribute to the care of our sweet cat. They offer options and yet do not try to force any specific care. They give to time to absorb the situation and make a the decision that you feel is the right choice. I appreciate each and every one of them.
