Professionalism is not practiced here! After being pushed off for one reason or another after 5 weeks by the owner, my daughter finally was able to review the property and facilities. A future date for daycare was then arranged. Upon arrival for drop off, my daughter inquired if there were any aggressive dogs in the groups. She was informed that yes in fact there are several aggressive dogs on site.
My daughter informed them that her dog is well socialized and does great with all dogs, but does not like to be bullied by aggressive dogs. Can you please put her into a group that does not contain the known aggressive dogs? She was immediately and rudely dismissed and told to leave the property! Wait what? So you will take in a known aggressive dog, but when an owner asked that you not place their pet with those known aggressive dogs you are rude and unprofessional?
I would think that you would be looking out for all of the pets under your care and would take measures to keep known aggressive dogs away from the other pets! Instead you cancel the daycare which had been carefully planned out which caused plans to have to be scrapped for the customer and the non aggressive pet! Do yourself a favor and before your pet gets hurt by one of the known aggressive dogs that are allowed to run unchecked in this facility take your pet anywhere else but here!

Our pup, Red, loves going to camp at Happy Yap. Like someone else mentioned, he get's excited when we pull into the driveway and is always tired and ready for a long nap when we pick him up! I couldn't recommend HY enough if you are looking for overnight / weekend boarding options. It is comforting to know Red gets to run around outside while we are away instead of just sitting in a pen all day.
Take a look at the screen shots of his activity when he stays at HY - when it's not raining all week, you can see the difference on Fri-Sun! Happy Yap is the perfect place to keep your dog active while knowing they will be safe and take care of.

We brought our very energetic German shepherd mix to happy yap recently. It was such a wonderful experience. She came home absolutely exhausted, slept in the next morning and was so content the next day. It's a great way to exhaust an extremely energetic pup because she gets to spend the entire day playing with other dogs. They did a temperament test to ensure she's compatible with other dogs and plays well. They are also open very convenient hours and reasonable when compared to other daycares.

Happy Yap is the best place you could ever dream of leaving your puppers. It's a family run business and you can tell they truly care for the animals. This is especially noticeable when you pull up and your dog can't wait to get out of the car and doesn't want to leave when you go to pick them up. All I have to say is "daycare" in the morning and my pups is waiting by the door, tail wagging.
The facility offers outdoor running areas, covered areas, inside areas (with heat in the winter), and someone out playing with them the entire time. The rate for daycare (drop off as early as 7am and pick up as early as 6pm) is super reasonable ($22), and they also offer bulk packages. Boarding is also offered for only $30/day - this includes one day of daycare and an overnight - but you must already be a regular daycare participant (since they'll be with all the other puppers throughout the day). If you give them an opportunity, you're guaranteed to love Happy Yap and your pups will love you for taking them.

This place is GREAT! We've been going to Happy Yap for over a year and couldn't have found a better place! Kevin and Christine are very intuned to each of the dogs there to insure the safety of all the dogs in their care. They spent quite a bit of time evaluating our dog to insure a good fit for her and the others already there. They also maintain very high standards for health. We love that the facility has a barn and fenced land to roam and explore. The dogs are played with and exercised and most importantly loved. Camp days are our happiest

I take Riley to Happy Yap about twice weekly, and he could not be more excited each time. From the moment I say "camp" when he wakes up to pulling into Happy Yap, he is jumping for joy. It feels great to know that while I have to work full time, Riley is not sitting at home bored. The icing on the cake is that Christine and Kevin each have a caring, personal relationship with your dog. And an exercised dog is a good dog. Overall, I could not recommend Happy Yap more!
