Gray Oak Boarding and Training is a full service dog boarding and training facility, located at 1513 Bay Creek Road in Hartsville, South Carolina. Our training service includes all breed obedience for all types of dogs, gun dog training for retrievers, and hunt test training for those retrievers that wish and are able to compete. Training programs are geared for the individual dog and space is limited so that we can provide the maximum attention to each dog. If you need to be gone for the day, whether if be for work, or a special outing, treat your dog to day camp.

Doggie Day Camp Report

If the answer to any of the above questions is "yes", then chances are your dog would really enjoy day camp. If you need to be gone for the day, whether if be for work, or a special outing, treat your dog to day camp. At day camp, dogs have playmates for social interaction and companionship. While there is constant supervision for safety, dogs can play with one another in a free environment inside and outside.

Boarding Report

Our Boarding services include twice a day feeding of a premium dog food. Play and exercise 3 times per day in our grassy enclosed play yards. The kennels are spacious and climate controlled in a beautiful country setting. We are open 7 days per week for drop off and pick up with the exception of major holidays.

Training Report

We train medium and large breed dogs for basic obedience. The basic commands required for good citizenship are: Here, Heel, Sit, Down, Stay, No, and Pillow. The Gray Oak program is a 4 week program where the dog comes to stay here with us for that full 4 weeks. We will work with each dog two times per day.

Vaccination Requirements Report

If owner administered, you must save the label and the receipt of the vaccine given, with the date of vaccination. 2. Dogs vaccinations required- Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus Bordetella/ kennel cough and Rabies all must be current.

They are the best Max loves it there when we are driving in he knows where he is and gets so excited.heads right for the kennel door and never tells me good bye I never worry about him when he's there. They will also give medication if needed

Our 2 dogs are always so happy when I observe them there before they know I'm present. They seem to enjoy it there and appear so refreshed upon our return. The staff take an interest in the dogs and happily accommodate special needs.

They are the BEST! My Pups love them and I love them! I had never boarded my Babies before - but - they are at home and are so comfortable and happy there. I have taken them for Training, Boarding, Doggie Day Camp and Grooming. They always exceed my expectations.

We board our dogs here. The owners and staff really get to know the dogs in their care. Most importantly, the dogs do not mind going. They walk right in. This place also boards horses. I would definitely recommend this place for your pups.

We have left our fur baby there several times and we (and he) love it. He always comes back exhausted, and I love knowing he is having fun and being socialized in a well supervised environment. The add on options are great too, such as extra fetch time and pre-bedtime cuddles. Perfect for everyone's fur baby!

We have used Gray Oak for both boarding and training and are very pleased with their services. Our dogs are always excited when they arrive there, and our dog that received the training is much much easier to handle now. I highly recommend them!

I'm extremely picky about boarding my dogs, but I never have a second thought about leaving them at Gray Oak. Heather and her staff are great. When my doggies are there, I don't worry about them. If my recommendation isn't enough, check out their smiling little faces. When I drop them off, they bolt for the kennel door and don't even say goodbye. They love going to "doggie camp" as we call it. Heather even posts photos so you can check in on your little ones when you're traveling.
