However, to ensure a safe environment for all, we do have to follow some rules that everyone must follow. All dogs must be on a leash or in a carrier at all times. Retractable leashes are allowed, but must be locked to no more than 6 feet while in the store. If your dog has an "accident" in the store, let us know immediately so it can be cleaned up.
What's included in a bath & brush? Includes bathing, drying, brushing out, cleaning/plucking of the ears, checking of anal glands and trimming the nails. Bow or bandana and cologne spritz. What's included in a full groom? Includes all the perks of the bath & brush plus trimming to the breed standard or to your specifications.
Because only you know how you'd like your dog groomed, we ask that the actual owner brings the dog into the appointment. That way the owner and groomer can discuss what can and can not be done. We cater to four-legged friends like no one else. They're part of your family. When you trust their grooming to us, we treat them like our family.
Our groomers can cut and style anyway you like. From shave downs to puppy cuts, teddy bear, summer cuts, mohawks and breed specific cuts, we can do it all! We do not and will not allow groomer to do anything that could be harmful to the dog. Extreme matting will have to be cut or shaved out. We will not put the dog through pain because the coat has not been brushed properly.
Long haired dogs need to be groomed daily, while short haired breeds may only need to be brushed weekly. Regular brushing and combing will remove loose or matted hair and helps keep the skin free of disease and parasites such as fleas. Natural oils will be more evenly distributed to give your dog a nice shiny coat.

I absolutely love Dogma & Fetch! They have always taken such good care of my animals! I am dog sitting my Senior GrandDoggie and he needed to be groomed and have his toenails clipped. I called and Jordan worked him in and they took extra special care of Cody. Cody is blind, doesn't hear well and isn't steady on his feet. They took wonderful care of Cody and he looked cute as could be when I picked him up. Would definitely recommend Dogma and Fetch! Jordan and Kenny are great to work with!

I have an old crippled black and red German Shepherd. She goes to the groomer two or three times a year. By far, Dogma and Fetch has the best grooming staff I have encountered. Roxie, the dog, looks great and I could tell instantly she felt better. I have other dogs I have groomed here and am never disappointed. If you have a GSD with lots of hair ALL the time.call Dogma and Fetch. Dirty already! (Cool bandana)

I not only purchase all of the clothes, harnesses, leaches and food here but Dogma and Fetch has the best groomers around. I have four little dogs who actually (well 3 of them, there's one in every bunch) enjoy the experience. York is so lucky to have the "go-to" place to find the best pet supplies and groomers in our little town.

The perfect place for my Love. This is Love Isabella. She is 14 years old.meaning I don't trust just anyone with her. When I go into Dogma and Fetch. it's like a one stop spa day for my Love. She goes shopping for new clothes, gets her nails and fur done and at the end we get her doggie treats and her food. My son and I wouldn't trust any other place with our fur babies.
If I could give a 6 star I would because, I feel comfortable enough to leave my girl in the hands of Jordan and the groomers. They are so kind and gentle with this scared fur momma, they understand that she's an older lady and keep us calm knowing Love is in good hands. Thank you Dogma and Fetch.

My 96lb sheppard lab mix abby got her hair and nails did today. This was our first visit to #dogma and fetch, and i have to say first how great they made us feel. Not at all like the giant chain puppy mills. And my girl smelled so good and looked and felt so good. She liked them and so do I! We got her a new seresto collar there too. They have everything for your furry 4 legged family members!
And they also serve you in a manner that makes you comfortable and lets you know that your baby will be treated as if it were YOU! I will be back next month for Abby's next visit, and every one from now on. #dogma and fetch are awesome!

The shop is lovely and my only complaint is that it is a bit too dark. The groomer were very nice and did a great job on my yorkie. The did have trouble with my chorkie but that was understandable as it was his first time and he was not cooperative. Because of this they didn't do a complete cut on his face as they didn't want to stress him out. Hopefully he will do better next time as I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Terrible customer service! Their hours are not listed anywhere by them so I went off the hours Google posted of 10-6 got there at 515 and they were closed. I left a voicemail (which also doesn't list hours) letting them know the issue and wanting to know the hours and no one returned my call. I made another trip out there and the gentlemen working was rude and almost attacking when we asked about the hours and let them know about the voicemail. Doesn't seem like a dog friendly place and Definitely not going back there, don't waste your time
