Dog Star Canine

Thank you so much for taking care of our dogs Wendy and Hoss! We highly recommend Dog Star Canine. Our dogs seemed so happy at Daycare/Boarding when we picked them up. We will definitely book again!

Dog Star Canine is the best! Don't just take my word for it, follow their instagram account and see for yourself. All day, every day, they post real time photos of happy dogs being watched by caring professionals. We knew our dogs loved it there, but seeing the pictures took our understanding of their joy to a whole new level. Dog Star Canine is a wonderful place run by wonderful people. You can absolutely trust that they will take great care of your furry family members.

Super nice and helpful staff. My dog is always happy to go to day care (so excited going up the driveway!) and tired from playing when he gets home. Boarding is very convenient too.

We've been taking our lab here for a few years and the noises he makes when we pull into the driveway are all you need to know that this place is a dog's dream! He can't contain his excitement and tries to jump out of the window. I love that they post on their Instagram account photos and videos throughout the day so we know how ridiculous our dog is being.

They have lots of fun pools and toys for the dogs and every time he goes, he sleeps for 2 days after. This place is run by wonderful people who truly care for the happiness and safety of our pets. I wouldn't trust anyone else with our pup!

Not impressed at all. I cannot imagine anyone that loves their dog and worries about there welfare would take their dog to Dog Star Canine. Thursday they had about 20 lively dogs all in one area with just two young women. We stayed to observe to make sure she would be okay. Oh my, it was awful. Our beautiful, shy 32 pound dog was forced to meet all these dogs at once with no introduction.

She cowered of course and back up terrified. They brought her out and said she bared her teeth. This dog is the gentlest little girl you can imagine but so terrified by their lack of care for her welfare that she was simply trying to defend herself from such an onslaught of dogs I didn't blame her. She has never, ever snapped or bit at anyone or anything.

There were only two young women in that area with all those dogs. Had any sort of fight started, they certainly could not stop it. Needless to say we took our dog out of there and we will never go there again nor will we recommend such a terrible place for any dog. If you love your dog like we do, do not take your dog to them. It is obvious to us that making money is their main object and they will put as many dogs in that place as they can cram in there. In a scale of one to ten they are a MINUS ten. Muriel & Steve Brock

We take our Havanese and Golden here. They seem to love their job and the dogs! Fair pricing and fluffy dogs after grooming.

Koda loved it here! She slept like a baby after full days of play and whined at us every morning to get her to daycare. She'll miss all her pup friends!

Our big lap dog has a Great time any time he's at Dog Star. Friendly, safe, professional and caring staff. Always very happy to go, and always exhausted and content when coming home. Glad to have a safe place for him, several times a month. Great value

Jason and his crew are wonderful and treat each dog like their own. I feel our girl has the best care when she is at Dog Star boarding. She is exhausted after a day of hanging out with the other pups and running around playing. Definitely a 5 star stay for your four legged baby.

Our Sophie loves to go here. She gets up at 6:30 am and keeps going to the door to leave. She has to be the first one there. She didn't like riding in a car but now she can't wait to go. Dog Star is such a wonderful place for dogs to go. They are very friendly and caring. I love how they post pictures of the dogs on Instagram. Recommend percent. Best kennel I have ever seen, we never worry about Sophie there.

We have used Dog Star Canine for several years to board our dog when we are out-of-town, and she loves it there! What impresses me the most is that the owner and staff try to cater to the individual needs of the dogs in their care. Our dog is old now, and while she enjoys being with the other dogs in daycare, she can't keep up with them as well as she could several years ago.

The staff understands this, and gives her a chance to socialize, but also a chance for quiet time when she gets tired. Because of her age, our dog doesn't tolerate changes in food as well as she did, so we take food to Dog Star with her, so that she can stay on her regular diet. The staff is excellent about following our instructions, and also will administer medications when necessary. It's a wonderful place! Highly recommended!
